Please remember to be vague when discussing the markets. No specific dates or locations or attractions

I went to a market today which previously had been shut down for many years so I was excited to see it return. It definitely had a lot better quality content but it lacked the original charm of what the market was.

Please read that as counterfeit goods for dirt cheap.

Also why it was forced to shut down.

So anyway, the market is back and it is better than ever and the quality of stuff was phenomenal but also quite a bit was way out of a typical person's price range for these sorts of markets. What I was not expecting was there to be someone selling graded and non graded Pokemon cards, full on PSA graded stuff! I was able to get some cards I've been wanting for months too so that made me happy.

Another market I went to recently I had the complete opposite experience. It was pure garbage. I was originally so excited to go see it as usually markets that were located at a school are usually good but this had absolutely nothing. It was all incredibly overpriced plants, coffee + food vans, frozen meat and a really interesting chili sauce stall. The chili sauce guy was really cool and I regret not buying some but I didn't want to carry chilli sauce all day with my already full bag.

There's another market that's nearby that's specialises in computer stuff and technology and that's where all the counterfeit stuff went which I found hilarious that it wasn't targetted as well.

I went to a HUGE market when I was travelling this summer- it was honestly a little overwhelming! It was super easy to get lost, especially since my group and I were all unfamiliar with the location, so we just kinda wandered around for a while. But I did end up finding some inexpensive yarn that I'm hoping to use to make scarves for my mom and aunt 😊

There's this really cool market in the city centre where I live and it's got all sorts of really niche handmade, arts and crafts type stuff. It's in this massive old warehouse by the docks and it's actually really cosy because everything's so close together. Half of the time there's stalls spilling out of the warehouse set up around the doors 😊
