@angel_star, I agree with you 😊 But I also understand the quitters. Ages ago, people used to try to collect all the creatures on egg cave, but now that there are so many CS creatures (and a lack if cave creatures), people who don't have CC find that really hard. So I guess the game just loses its appeal.

But I do think that it's really sad to see people quit

@angel_star, hmm I don't think free CC will solve the problem (but I would love some CC 😋)

I think maybe even 1 less monthly per month and more cave creatures would be better. I understand that he has to support the site, but 3 a month is a bit much (considering how many people buy CC). Oh well, I guess what happens happens 😊

I do think it's sad my friends are quitting, and I will miss them... But it's there choice in the end. If they wanna quit, they can quit, and we can't stop them.


I support however, about the cc thing. Eggcave is seeming like neopets (I don't have one, so I don't know completely.)

that's what I've seen some people quit over.

I think I just realized what the main thing is that butgs me about the CC, it's not that people can't get CC etc, it's just that there are SO MANY CC pets being released that there are more LE pets people without CC can't get than the ones they can get, which I think is a bad thing. Maybe Ian should consider releasing only two CC monthlies and releasing one as a cave monthly instead, that would also make it somewhat easier to trade for CC monthlies 😊

About the quitting: I agree people shouldn't quit so easily, but in the end it's their decision, like mochi (cafe) said...

I've just read a thread about a user quitting (forgot who, maybe there are multiple threads) because they think that Egg Cave is becoming kind of stressful. I don't know how Egg Cave is stressful exactly, but it does become kind of boring when you get older.

Really, no offense, but Egg Cave is starting to lose its former glory. I mean, it's still awesome and everything, but there's just something about never being able to get the creature/creatures you want that brings EC down a bit. I agree with @bumblebee13_7 about less CC creatures and @angel_star about the 100 free EC per month idea.

Otherwise, go Egg Cave! I've seen users who "quitted for ever" come back because Egg Cave is so fun. Maybe if we had more features...

but ultimately, Egg Cave is more of a.... you know, socialise site with the feature of eggs and trading, but maybe the people running the site should... make stuff a bit more exciting, so ya, I gree with you there 😃

Maybe stuff like EggCave contests, like not a user made contest but.... And some of the ideas in Suggestions and ideas are really good 😃 Like the Creature Olympics😃

You also have to remember that for many people school has started and people have to deal with homework and school activities. Many of the people disappearing/quitting/going on hiatus is because they don't have the time right now. But usually a few months after school starts, once people find some time again, things pick up again and people return. Events usually help and people you thought gone forever come swarming back.

When most decide to quit for whatever reason then they could care less what you think. As long as they are truly quitting. Harsh but true.

Giving 100 CC free each month won't matter. Neopets gives free stuff as well as Subeta. Sure other sites do as well. Still people quit for whatever reason.

I am against certain players who have used the I QUIT numerous times in order to gain rare creatures from friends who convince them to stay just because they gave them a Tine,etc *cough*

If your going to quit then just quit. Stop making topics about it. All that does is fed the I am your friend and give me your creatures or Hey I don't know you but can I have so and so.??? It is really annoying.

With the whole CC thing and the mentality of Oh I have to have every single egg that is out. That is not Ian's or Egg Caves fault at all for using that to decide in quitting Egg Cave. CC needs to sell to help keep this site up. It's your decision to trade or buy them. Pretty simple.

I guess so, but the truth is, nobody can stay on EC forever. Some people just may have personal business that prevents them from going on the site too much.

@luvmykids244 I agree with pretty much everything you said. I've also seen countless users use the "I quit" threat to get rare creatures and it really sickens me. "I quit" has turned into a scare tactic that members use to get what they want.

"I quit if I don't get that and that CC!" users aren't something new. One of the worst and loudest ever has already quit long ago and she left all creatures I (and probably others) gave her, out of pity to keep her from quitting, to die, including a Tine. *cough* 5ponypal5 *cough* (It still bugs me!) 8P

Anyway... I don't think we can stop people form leaving if they really want to. :/

Egg Cave is a great site, but not as popular as Neopets. *sigh* we can't stop people from quitting, they quit, they quit.
