Ghoubab hatch glitch?

So I noticed that my Ghoubab hatched this month and it also keeps evolving despite the fact, that this species should only hatch in October. This is specified in their Archives page.

So just as the Meriton has it specified that they only evolve in December, and it does work that way, I expected a similar behaviour with the Ghoubab.

So is this a bug?

I wondered this myself. My Ghoubab evolved just after October, which I was thrilled about, but it did raise an eyebrow. Perhaps 'hatching' only applies to the egg stage? If it doesn't 'hatch' in October, it won't until the following year, but if it's already in its post-egg stages, it'll evolve as normal?

No matter what the answer is, it's v confusing when the archive entry doesn't align with what we're seeing.
