Creature Level Formula

Hello! I’m a bit of an egg cave oldie here, joined in 2017 but haven’t really been active in a while. Back then, I remember the creature levels working a bit differently.

Used to be that creatures’ levels were the average of their stats, and immortality was achieved at level 2000. Now I see that the threshold is 20, and the level calculation isn’t the average anymore, even though the FAQ still says it is. Does anyone have a bit of context to spare? Thanks and I appreciate it!
