Have you ever left for so long?

And lost MANY retired and endagered pets? I did and OMG it would cost so much money to rez them all. My fault I know so I am just posting to ask how many of you are also facepalming for letting this happen?

I sympathize! Eventually I invested in a Leaf of Vaka, but my list of pets to revive is quite long too.

@chazerz I left for over two years and I now have 500+ creatures in my graveyard. I miss them every day.

Many times over the years, yes. I joined as a little kid and was at the mercy of everyone and everything around me. A decent chunk of those are unable to be revived, so I've been patiently waiting on them gradually showing up in the VEND.

I had some really nice names when I first joined. x.x They all died. I miss those more than the creatures lol. Can't revive names. Most are already taken by someone else now.

Yeah, I went on hiatus twice. Lost plenty of creatures, with one of my favs dying both times. D:

I've gone on many unofficial hiatuses, especially when I was younger and still in middle school. I also spent every summer on a ranch with limited internet and couldn't always get to feeding all my creatures.

Lost a lot of my creatures to those long summers. This was also before resurrection became a thing so they're long lost to time. My saddest loss was a Goldox that I apparently didn't realize the value of when I was younger lol. Now I don't even care for the value as the sentiment outweighs that lol.

But it happens, once I bought a leaf of vaka for my cove I stopped having to worry about them dying which has been nice.

lol yes, and one of my pets named subwoofer died, and when i asked the current owner of the name if they'd sell it they said no :[ but thankfully it freed up and i got to get my name back!! i couldnt LIVE without my leaf of vaka honestly, i think its like the number one most useful item in the cash shop tbh. i was really lucky and won it in a giveaway years ago and now i have peace of mind knowing i can go on hiatus without losing a ton of pets/names again lol. hopefully you get some pets back :'[

I had many poor creatures die in my care during the 14 years that I've been on and off Eggcave, and this was before I got the Leaf of Vaka. Sadly, many of the VWN creatures are taken now and many of these beauts are from like... Way back when. I regret letting them die. ☹️

No, I haven't ever left for a long period of time. Once I reached several hundred creatures, I invested in the Leaf of Vaka to lower the pressure of having to keep them all fed myself. Best decision ever 😊

I didn't play for the 1st two years that I was a member. I was spreading myself to thin across to many pet sims, but have come back and made a ton of progress

I have left on and off quite often hiatus and what-not. When I was 23 (36 years old now) I had no idea what I was doing and have lost pretty much a good number of creatures along the way, I have a pretty good list. I really need to invest getting a Leaf of Vaka, soon! I have kept the ones I have left alive, somehow. :<

The first 2 years of my account, I actually didn't play at all and didn't adopt any eggs. At first, I mistakenly thought you had to keep pets alive, and that was the only way. When I found out they could become immortal, I came back.

I haven't yet as I started playing in November. But I'm sure I will in the near future. That's why I'm trying to get all my critters to Level 20, so they don't die.

I have too. I feel like I should have more creatures in my graveyard than I do. Most of them aren't worth the 200cc to revive them though lol, I think I lost some of the better ones by agreeing to bad trades

I left for a couple of years because I was frustrated at how long it took to evolve pets. It did me good. I'm enjoying playing again. I've had a Leaf for as long as I can remember.
