I had given 2M EC plus a 50 CC voucher to purchase a Burdrah in the Trades section. I never received it nor was my CC voucher or my 2M EC returned. Is it that easy for someone to scam a purchaser out of their payment without giving the creature they were paying for? This happened in the past week or so.I figured that there’d be safeguards against that happening, but my CC voucher has a ‘lock’ on it so I can’t use it in any other transactions.I’d appreciate any clarity that you can provide…Thanks, prettyiggy

@prettyiggy huh, interesting. Can you provide screenshots maybe? Is your CC in another trade? That should be why it is locked

Unfortunately I didn’t take any screen shots. I’m usually good about writing down potential trades, auctions, etc. but I can’t find that info at the moment. I guess that’s my loss, I should’ve been more vigilant. I offered this same player 2M ec & got no response so that’s why I cancelled the 1st trade & threw in the 50 CC. I never got a response with that. Thanks for responding, I think I’ll stick with Auctions, after this.

@prettyiggy It shouldn't happen. And it's not something I can remember being reported before. Have you checked the "Your Offers" section of the Trade House? (Red text just above the page numbers). Because I agree that it seems like it's still locked in an offer and the other player just hasn't accepted or rejected it yet. The ec also won't show anywhere else either as you've technically "spent" it, just like a bid on an Auction. If it's not showing there at all, then I'd suggest putting in a ticket via the Contact us link in the footer of every page.

it sounds like your offer is still pending for the burdrah trade, hence you see the CC locked in your inventory unless you withdraw the offer. I see a Burdrah in the trade center still, so I think your offer just hasn’t been accepted yet and no currency / creatures have been exchanged!

@prettyiggy I have to agree with nut, it's probably just still 'in trade'. Unlike auctions, trades don't end automatically. The person who put up the trade has to manually accept your offer in order for things to be exchanged. If your offer is still 'active', then the CC will be locked and the ec will be spent; If the offer was rejected or the trade closed, your CC would be unlocked and the ec would be refunded.(edit to add, trades can technically end automatically but only after a full month, and I still think you'd be notified that the trade was closed.)

Thanks for all of your responses! Just to let you know, it's not the current Burdrah that's listed in the Trades, she's a friend. it was a different person (male) whose trade is no longer listed. If I could remember his name, I'd be halfway to solving it. I think I'll follow Minnie298a's advice & send a ticket on it, Again, thank you to each of you for your input.
