@cloudykisses The FAQ page on quests give a decent rundown of the feature: https://eggcave.com/help/questsBasically, the VEND machine only takes tokens, which you have to earn by doing quests of different types. Each quest will ask you to provide it with two items from the corresponding store (Toy Shop, Bakery, etc). You get 12 hours to do each quest (although that's the maximum time, you can do it within a few minutes if you have the items). A successfully completed quest gives a cooldown of 5 minutes before you can do another quest of that same type. If you intend to save up tokens for a VEND creature it's a good idea to start buying from the stores a bit at a time, keeping items in your strongroom until you need them.
