For the second day in a row from time to time pages opening very slowly and I am getting message 500 Internal Server Error.

Is there any maintenance in progress?

Just wanted to say that I'm experiencing the same issue. It was really bad at some point yesterday, but then it seemed to get better. Now it's back to pretty bad again.

I keep getting that too - Reassuring to read I'm not the only one... Had the same code Yesterday (I pasted it into one of the Game Chats where you paste what you copied last - Did so about half an hour to an hour after it started happening..)

EDIT: My post record says I pasted the error message in Forum Thread "Paste the last thing you've copied!" about 17 hours ago - if that's any help?

I was going to say I barely had any issue yesterday, but then I remembered I was hardly on at all >.<)

But today I'm also experencing a lot of lag on the site and the Internal Server Errors.

I was assuming it's bot attacks again.
(And already relagated myself to the idea that we may have to put up with human verification Captchas again for a few days.)

Edit: about half a day later - the site has been working fine for me for about 3 hours now.

@Ian , the whole day all pages are lagging with different speed, from very slooow to normal. And I have got at least 100 chocos. What is going on? See yaaaa 😊

@dragging I can confirm you're definitely not the only one seeing this! I caught a massive lag spike around 11:25 PM ECT (Sep 12) as well. It nearly ate another one of my skip days, but I managed to fight through the slowdown just in time.

@Ian It might be worth digging around in the backend scripts to see if those leftover February Valentine box calls are causing the weirdness. That event script definitely wasn't supposed to be running past February, so if it's still trying to process request calls in September, those orphaned loops and error pop-ups ("There was an error processing your request. Please refresh the page and try again.") while the box pop-up appeared—if you need the screenshot, let me know—could easily be what's dragging page load speeds down and creating these random bottlenecks for everyone.

Maybe once those legacy Valentine assets are cleared out and the background scripts are flipped over to prepare for the October seed event—storing clean event points instead—it will clear up these server lag spikes and get page speeds back to normal!
