Throwing one of my charms that quickly turned into a shruiken, it spun quickly and sliced through one, two, three birds.

Aria notched a few more arrows and let them fly at the birds. One of them whizzed past a girls' head ((Katryna @pegasasu))- missing her ear by an inch - and embedded itself into the heart of a Stymphalian bird. The other arrows had found their target in the head of many other birds.

Stymphalian birds screeched in anger at the demi-gods and flew towards the little group, flapping their wings wildly and creating a mess of feathers.

Aria yelled in alarm as a particularly vicious bird raked its talons against her arm. Blood drizzled out and she dropped her bow. With pain shooting up her arm, she gritted her teeth and drew a curved dagger out of her back pack using her other good arm. She stabbed the monster in the side. It screeched in agony and Aria covered her eyes just as it exploded in a puff of feathers.

She barely had time of register the fact that other birds had begun attacking her ribs, legs, hair, and other exposed skin.

"Oh my gods!" She yelled and blindly swung her dagger through the sky.

Jasper melted in the shadows. It was an bad idea but, they needed some rock music or something. He went to a music shop and stole a stereo and some music.

I held my stance and remembered my abilities. Fire. I held out my palm as a Stymplahlian bird flew towards it, hunger in its beady eyes and dry blood caked on its gleaming talons. I wanted to shut my eyes but forced them open.

What the Hades? Jasper left. He. Left. I was going to kill him. But I had to focus. The bird was coming closer, closer, closer, but I had to wait for the exact moment...

It was about to rake its claws across my palm, and my hand lit up, engulfing the bird in flames. Oh yeah.

"Oh joy, oh rapture. Now you can walk around with sagging pants and a boombox on your shoulder while we get eaten alive."

I said dryly to Jasper, shooting flames at another bird.

I threw another handful of daggers, each one (thankfully) hitting their mark.

Aria brought up her bow again and fired a sonic arrow into the flock.

As the arrow sailed into the air, it created a deafening screech and exploded when it hit the heart of the flock. From the cacophony of sound, some birds died instantly the Stymphalian birds went crazy and started flying into each other, flapping their wings as if there was no tomorrow. The screaming sound was obviously too much to bear for them.

"Sonic arrows. Why didn?t I think of them before?" Aria wondered out loud and mentally kicked herself.

I saw the sonic arrows fly from the other Apollo child's grasp. She had good aim, and common sense. Perhaps she wouldn't be a terrible partner.

Out of the corner of Aria's eye, she saw that Hades kid, Jasper, walking along with some stereo with him.

"What's he up to?" Aria frowned.
