@Celeste we do want to eat meat. But make killing the animals more friendly instead of slaughtering them and steping on the Babies.

Skinning. Don't watch it.
It was in earthlings.
I had to skip a ton of it, but I was left on that scene.
And it was... Disgusting and terrible.

@plushie
Friendly killing? You mean like gassing them? Or 'putting them to sleep'? Maybe they could be put to sleep before being decapitated? That won't work, since they'll be done in masses, and it'll hurt in the end.

@celeste

Yea, but the *way* you say that basically looks like you're saying humans are superior to animals... =_=

@THERESTOFTHEWORLD

It's called survival of the fittest. =_= If there was no meat, there wouldn't be such things as barbecues and etc. It's sad, but animals do the same things to themselves. And we basically NEED meat to sustain ourselves. As long as we're not taking TOO much. Or submitting to long, cruel torture. Which not everyone in the world is doing.

Again I say, people need to live by my motto "Take what you need, not what you want." Doesn't mean stop eating meat, just..regulate it.

I'm trying to get in the habit of giving thanks to the animal/plants that I eat. [Visualize the cow, thank the cow, bid goodbye to the cow]

Again I say, I can't just throw meat away; For some reason my body doesn't work well with protein pills, and I have to get my protein from meat, least I get my stomach spasms.

Good luck trying to hunt animals in the wild for food. There are too many regulations and laws against it. One of the evils of human society, I suppose. Humans can't be humans anymore. That's why I want to live in a rural or small town. I'd enjoy raising chickens and perhaps a cow, not for meat, but for eggs and milk. I don't eat meat; it tastes bad, and the fact that I'm eating a dead animal makes it hard for me to stomach it (literally and figuratively).

I'm tired of relying on society for food. I'd be happy going to a farmers' market for vegetables and fruit, and using cows and chickens for eggs and milk. Cheese and bread can be bought at a store. When I go to college, hopefully I'll see more farmers' markets and more wholesome foods, as in both South Dakota and Nebraska food is actually grown there.

Rant over.
