Something in the machine was broken. It accidently drained a bit of Aron's power to Silic. The shadows he absorbed from her at the ancient city. It gave her back all her memories. The controler on Aron's head, that worked on those shadows broke. Aron was normal again. He knew what would happen and quickly made a shield around him and the girls. Then the whole lab exploded.

Silic felt a jolt. "AHH!!" Her whole body snapped up. When she landed, her eyes laid closed.

Aron who fell not away from Silic and used his shield to cath him up, quickly ran to Silic. Everything he did, everyone he killed and his crazy thoughts came back in his head. "What have i done?!"

Manililia, when the men came, teleported herself away. She could get the to the others later, but now was the time for her to keep close watch. When the lab exploded, she thought for sure she was dead. Seeing what happened to Aron, she wanted to drop him on a pavement just so they wouldn't ruin him.

Manililia ran to the lab ruins at full speed to only see Aron with a remorseful look on his face. "What did you do?" she yelled at him.

I felt the bindings clank to the floor, their metal components scratching against the stainless floor with a chilling screech. I ripped the blindfold off of my eyes and ran as fast as I could, holding one of my hands against the cold steel wall, sending sparks towards the cloaked men.

I looked around, confused at my surroundings. Medieval Europe? The streets were musty and crowded, mixed fumes of foreign spices and rotten fruits bombarding me. I covered my nose and darted about the marketplace, looking for even one familiar face.

Silic's mind registered what had just happened. Her eyes widen and said "W-WHO ARE YOU?" Her arms and legs worked to crawl backwards. "WHAT POWERS? WHY DO YOU WANT ME?" Silic's eyes were filled with horror.

Aron smacked against the ground, everyone hated him. He hated himself. If he had only listened to Silic nothing would be happened. "Maybe it's just better if i die. Kill me pleas..."

I slowly registered the scene that played before me. But the lead role, Silic, was wild. Her mousy eyes were clouded with consternation, and I felt pity for her. Mists of confusion trailed along the edges of my vision that I forced my way through.

I had no idea why she was freaking out like this, though. Weren't we all freaks, mistakes of nature, the sources of antipathy and abhorrence that mankind so profusely shot at us? Or was it just me and that Aron kid, the outcasts? That would suck.

Manililia rubbed her hand. Silic had a hard slap. "We're your friends. We're just like you. Don't you remember?" She backed away and stood. Silic was practically gone.

I raised my eyebrows at Silic, a bit amused, despite the situation we were in. Maybe she was one of us, but she didn't know. Augh, my head was pounding, thoughts, questions, and assumptions alike shooting at me like daggers.

"All we know is that we're ALL FREAKS. You've got a power, we all do. Suck it up."

I snapped, my tone cold. It was almost as if I could feel the chills running down my spine and touch the ice that frosted on the sharp words.

Manililia shot a piercing look at Aron. "You slit your neck and we're not better off. It'll just make them angry that they lost one." She walked over to him and placed her hand on the rock, attempting to remove it from his hand. "Let it go."

Annibelle was STILL blind. She sensed that something was wrong, other than the fact that they're freaks. "What's going on?" Annibelle asked in a shaky voice,"Are we going to be killed?"

Manililia let go of the rock and held Annibelle. "Hold on. I'll get you fixed." She transported them to a fountain in some random place and splashed water in Annibelle's eyes. "The water will clear it up." She waited for Annibelle to respond after the splash of water.

"Well, I supposed you handled that very efficiently. The last thing we need is a suicidal. Whether we like it or not, we're a team, guys. We have to stick together or we die."

I said simply, shrugging. I then turned to Quake- the girl who was shaking, some new girl that I named Quake [Annibelle] because she was so shaky.

"Yes, we're all gonna die unless we stick together and run REALLY fast, or fight REALLY hard. And, by the way, Mousy, I'm the electricity Goddess. That's Seaweed Brain, Aron."

I hissed at Silic, using her name that I had given her before.
