I paused for a moment, thinking. Curing blindness? My easily-carried away thoughts pondered on the subject.

"Are you blind as in something is in your eyes, or are you blind as in mental trauma, or blind as in born with it, or blind as in your eyes don't work, or blind as in your eyes work but your brain can't read the messages given because of an internal fracture?"

Silic stared at the boy in horror. Thoughts race through her mind. 'T-hey all know my name don't they?' She thought. She slightly shook her head as she finally turned her back and ran as fast as her legs could take her.

Manililia brought back Annibelle and in the instant, they slammed into Silic. Before they tumbled, Manililia grabbed Silic. "Don't you go! You want to get away but they will kill you if you're not careful!"

I rolled my eyes at Mousy, getting irritated. What happened to her? What happened to ME? I was a different person, now that the Blood Rain changed me. I wasn't Katryna anymore. I couldn't be. Katryna was sensitive and kind, willing to sacrifice... No. I strike, and I fade away. Impatient, and I get things done however they need to get done. I travel my own path.

"Who's going to kill me?!" She yelled. "From all I saw, a boy entered the room, sending soldiers after me and then jolting me with electricity!" Silic yanked her and out of the girl's grasp. "And I didn't even do anything!" With that, she sped out of the forest.

But who would've known... that what the girl said had been true?

Manililia attempted to race after her but had second thoughts. "Let her die," she said as she grazed passed Aron. "It's your fault she's messed up anyway."

Silic clamped her eyes shut as she brushed through bushes and trees. Sunlight flowed through her eyelids as the made it out of the forest (thing).

Silic was right in front of Aron. Her mind kept telling her to run, faster, but another part of her mind shouted for her to stop, that he was special. Silic automatically halted.
