Oliver's breathing sharply changed, going faster and higher. He was choked, slapped, hung, and extremely tired. He deserved a rest, not a kick.

Lilia's eye twitched slightly before she touched the little blue circle. She appeared in front of this ignorant boy, grabbed his collar, took his friend's shirt, and reappeared in the kitchen. Throwing them on the ground, she quickly went to the opening, went down, and slammed the door shut with a lock.

Oliver coughed, Lilia's rough handling and Jasper's water-dumping had risen him. "Good going Mr. Smooth. At least I could've gotten her to let us stay here. But you had to dump water on me and scare her." He rolled his eyes and squeezed the corner of his shirt, trying to get the water out.

Lilia was fuming inside the cellar. Pacing back and forth did no good, and her having the scissors in hand again didn't give her good thoughts. 'Why, oh why, did my family not create electrical outlets in the cellar?', Lilia thought. In anger, Lilia jabbed the tip of the scissors into a small hole in the wall. She only made it wider. About to turn around, Lilia heard her name in a faint whisper. "Manililia..." She stopped.
