On the afternoon on one particularly hot August day, precicely 4 and a half hours after noon, she'd bid her mother a goodbye and had walked out of the front porch door, heading to the outskirts of the city (one secluded part of the forest in particular) to see her close relatives, the Johnsons.
Grandmother Johnson had been very ill since last week and, of course, it was up to the youngest of the Tylks to tend to her needs(mainly becuase the rest of the Johnsons had been waiting for the old hag to die for ages). As always, she'd walked don the narrow path down the hill past Lillie Dwayne's home and had waved to the young woman. She'd met the Rupert boys not long after and had stopped for a short chat with the troublemakers. After they'd departed, she walked towards the outskirts, already spotting the house in th distance. It was quite plain, white walls and an oldfashioned machogany door with four unwashed windows in the front.
Everything was going just fine up to that moment... she wondered what had went wrong after that. It was as if the sky darkened in a matter of seconds. From bright blue, the sky had turned eerily grey and loomed over her mercylessly. A sudden gush of wind had ruffled her black hair, slapping across her cheeks. She had hurried up, having no desire to be caught in the eye of the storm. As if on queue, freezing rain had started puring on her. She was soaked by the time she reached the meadow near the house and ran quiclky towards it.

A sudden red colour whirled past her eyes and she looked up in surprise to see what was going on. The cristal white rain droplets had turned crimson red, creating a whirlwind around her and engulfing her in a miniature tornado. A lightnig struck a few feet from her and she emmited a blood curdling scream, crouching down on the gground and covering her head. Her body trembled uncontrolably as the eye of the storm engulfed her seamlessly. All she remembered was a deep red colour flashing before her eyes.

Sylvia ran through the forest, and was finally slowing down to a walk when she bumped into another girl(Aizel). The bloody knife slipped out of her pocket and skidded across the clearing.

She suddenly came in sharp impact with something or someone and immediatelly looked up. Her vision was still blurred from themany hours of unconsciousness that she'd suffered and couldn't quite distinguish who was in front of her.

She blinked once, twice to clear her vision. The whirling colours came into place and she could now see the girl that she'd bumped into.
"Sorry..." a small, almost unnoticeable mumble escaped her lips and she stood up.

Sylvia could feel her heart speeding up. Was she a Child of the Storm? Maybe if she could gain her trust..... She shook her head softly, her hair getting into her eyes. A quick glance at the knife told her she couldn't. But...... Worse could happen if she betrayed the government. Sylvia stood up after the girl, finally deciding what to do. "It's ok. I think it was my fault.", She shoved her right hand in her pocket to find it having a thin layer of blood. She pulled it out in disgust. {Thanks a lot Oliver.} she said mentally.

Kyle continued to walk, stepping over twigs and tree stumps. An overgrown trail led deeper into the forest. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Jasper following and a small smile formed on his face.

Aizel nodded promptly, red droplets still plastered to her lashes, blurring her vision. She rubbed her eyes, brushing off the water and looked up at the girl.
She noted herself of Sylvia's dark looks. The girl was pale and had fairly long midnight black hair. Piercing purple eyes were boring into her own and she unvoluntarily shuddered, chill running down her back.
"What are you?" the words slipped out before she could stop them.

The girl radiated a powerful aura. In Aizel's opinion she just couldn't be human. Problem was, if she wasn't human, then what was she?

Intro:

Alex and Sirius were traveling through the woods. They were lonely but at least they had each other. Their family was somewhere that they didn't know about. They had left home at the age of 8 and had been traveling. They were able to take care of themselves fine and hadn't met anybody that hadn't been either trying to kill them or disgusted by them since they left home. They were on the search for a safe place but for 7 years had come up with nothing but this time they felt like their life would change forever and it was going to come soon. Alex turned into a wolf and sniffed the air: there were people near. Sirius understood and quickly created a ball of fire.

Aizel cocked her head to the side, examining the girl's moves. She seemed a little more graceful than most people she'd seen. And a lot more misterious.
"You don't seem human to me. So if not human, then what are you?" she gave the girl a quizzical look.

Jasper walked forward, wondering what was there. In the darkness, he could see a lion. Perfectly. Was it real or was he hallucinating?! Lions don't live here....

Instinctively, Jasper reached for the knife in his pocket. It wasn't there. He cursed. Why did Oliver give Sylvia HIS knife?!

Jasper backed away from the lion, hopefully it won't see him. Unfortuantely, the light appeared again. He saw a person walking with the lion. Maybe it ws tame. "Hi."
