Meteor coming?

I was watching news and there's supposedly
a small meteor that will hit us at an unexpected time, and it could wipe out a mass as large as London (UK) or cause a 60ft tidal wave.
Do you think if they know more about it they'll move the endangered area to a safe zone or
let alot of people die? Any idea where it
would land?? ._.

There was supposedly an asteroid that was to pass between the Moon & Earth last Tuesday-ish, but not crash
Didn't hear anything about it much though... :/

when we got hit by a hurricane that's all you would see on tv and my little brother was flipping out about how we were gonna die blah blah blah
