I based this suggestion off of Capricorn, a sign during part of the winter month.

Colors: I was thinking the fur be of a traditional, realistic goat, while the scales of the tail be a dark indigo

Titzu don't typically "hatch", more-so, when their brain inside of the "egg" is developed enough, a small body will grow off of it. This "egg"-like sack will remain among the creature's head for the rest of it's life...
