Frozen Fruit Cubes

January 25, 2018 at 12:00 AM

Meanwhile In the Northern Hemisphere

In the northern hemisphere, it's cold, so the General Food Store has crafted these simple-chic fruit cubes. The best part? They can remain frozen outside! You don't even have to store them in your refrigerator. Ha!

If eggcave was to ever create games, using the fruit as a fruit match up would be fun. (matching 3 or more of the same fruit) not sure what the game is usually called.

Haha these are great xp

scorch_cloud222 • 25 Jan 2018, 9:46 AM

Now I'm craving fruit.

sparklefox • 25 Jan 2018, 10:58 AM

These are interesting.

wigglytuff • 25 Jan 2018, 2:11 PM

@poptarts YES! We should have interactive games like that. Maybe like each match would reward 500EC or something? Or we could have a summer carnival with games and earn tickets to buy creatures.

foxbit • 25 Jan 2018, 3:25 PM

^ This. YES. *is technically in the northern hemisphere but also in a tropical country, which is hot* (well, we get unfrozen bananas! Yum, bananas).

maleficent • 25 Jan 2018, 3:26 PM

Interactive game based on these would be fun 😊

paige • 25 Jan 2018, 4:33 PM

I second the interactive game idea !!

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 6:43 PM

I third it #minigamesFTW #meta

jello • 25 Jan 2018, 8:52 PM

I fourth it... whatever that means...

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 9:15 PM

I fifth it??? XD Them ice cube are raining down rn x3 the softer white version of course 😋

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 9:17 PM

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a Summer Cup with lots of mini games where you can win points to buy special limited creatures that retire every year? Might be too big but it fills in the empty summer....

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 10:43 PM

@skyfall4 @jello delicious affirmations of the 4th and 5th kind ... E.T. is blushing :-) ... It could also tie into a plot ... even themed around a competition such as a Summer Cup concept ... I wanted an inspired event with the Olympics in 2016 - 2018 Winter Olympics are soon 😊

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 10:47 PM

@veritaspunk Yes! Maybe the Summer Cup could have something where you can create a team, and everything you do together earns points for your team, and there's a certain amount of points that'll unlock different prizes, kinda of like a goal to reach the end of the line of prizes?

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 10:59 PM

@skyfall4 ...and down the line it could be a quarterly event with both team and individual scoring. Other events such as Halloween Fair/Gobbler Hunting etc could be incorporated for those wanting to participate. Prizes along the way plus at the end 😉 #downtherabbithole

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:03 PM

@veritaspunk 😃 It would also be nice if the Cave was tied in somehow! Like finding a certain object instead of an egg! And everyone will get it every 10 minutes or so to make it fair! Maybe the battling feature could return Q^Q

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:10 PM

@skyfall4 I was thinking it would be a part of a few minigames... this would be intricate and complex but could be done with time. Really make v3 come into its own even if we have the buggy growing pains on the journey.

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:14 PM

@veritaspunk Yes, it would, I just figured that since summer is when most users go inactive because of the "nothing-is-really-happening" period of time, something to fill in the time would make users stay interested for a little longer 😊

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:20 PM

@skyfall4 The click exchange already has leader boards and could connect with the overall event/plot ... A single mini game all year perhaps reset at various intervals dependent on different sections ( cave, trivia, click exchange, traditional site event etc )would be a start.

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:24 PM

@veritaspunk Hmmm..... maybe a "lucky slot" thing? Spend like, 1kec per spin and win some prizes? A candy crush-like thing would be great as well 😱

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:36 PM

@skyfall4 ... I was thinking there could also be a random bonus assigned to random creatures each day or week or per event cycle and if you find them/take them you get a bonus kind of like that wildcard in a card game. Perhaps associated with finding all four fruit cubes too

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:37 PM

@veritaspunk Yesh always include the fruit cubes x3 Bonuses are most likely ec, maybe an ec doubler would work.....

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:41 PM

@skyfall4 Fruit cubes must know de wey 😋

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:44 PM

@veritaspunk ALL HAIL DA FRUIT CUBES WHO SHALL REFESH US WITH FRUITY ICE XD

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:45 PM

@skyfall4 What else are we going to put in the summer cup 😃

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:48 PM

@veritaspunk Hmmm.... a spot-the-creature thing? 😱 Get some ec for finding the creature? Or if the creature is hidden around the site, make it that if we find it a certain amount of times users get a prize?

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:53 PM

@skyfall4 A match game would be more my flight of fancy... but it really does open up a near endless amount of aspect to games and amusements.Technical limitations and time are the only cons. The prize could also be items and travels which could be used for future events ie - coal

skyfall4 • 25 Jan 2018, 11:55 PM

@veritaspunk A puzzle or riddle would work as well- maybe Egg Cave riddles? that way no one can search it up on Google.... or Yahoo.... or... or... ya X3

veritaspunk • 25 Jan 2018, 11:57 PM

@skyfall4 Absolutely, as long as we don't stir up Thomas Riddle 😋

jello • 25 Jan 2018, 11:59 PM

@veritaspunk something like this would inevitably lead to the site trivia nonsense.

skyfall4 • 26 Jan 2018, 12:02 AM

@veritaspunk lol true xD @jello I mean, instead of riddles about creatures, maybe history of Egg Cave, the store owners, item riddles..... (though items may be really hard...)

veritaspunk • 26 Jan 2018, 12:06 AM

@jello It's about site engagement and healthy competition. It's a cog to a greater whole. I don't play every option on Halloween Fair, but still have fun. I can put up with some "nonsense" if it gives me that "shiny carrot" or "fruit cube" I'm searching for. 😋

I never see them there... :/
