Happy Easter. It's time for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Who's ready to collect them all and receive their prize?
The annual Easter Egg Hunt is back! We've hidden 30 small Easter eggs for you to find and collect around Egg Cave. They are small and can appear on any and all pages. When you see one, click it to collect it! Players who collect all 30 eggs can claim the prizes below. It's the Floralope (courtesy of the lovely @prairie) and four Travels that can only be obtained from the Easter Egg Hunt!

The Easter Egg Hunt will be open today through April 17 at 11:59 PM ECT. You must complete the hunt and claim your prize before then.
Eggs become progressively harder to find the more eggs you collect. The last 5 eggs will be the most difficult for you to find. If you're not seeing them, keep at it! They will all appear! We promise! Do not expect to find all of the eggs in a single sitting; expect to find them all over a few days. There isn't any rush!
Easter eggs are hidden in different places for each user, so there isn't any use in sharing where you found them with others. Their locations and links are unique to your account and are completely randomized, including the links to find them. Copy and pasting won't work.
Abusing multiple accounts to get multiple Floralope creatures is not allowed—multiples of this creature will be removed from your accounts if you obtain multiples via the Easter Egg Hunt. Do not complete the Easter Egg Hunt from your side accounts.

there isn't some secret 'start' button anywhere is there? i'm inclined to believe they don't exist after all since i've been at it for a while with both my glasses and an online magnify tool. perhaps it's possible i'm just blind...

Some tips: The eggs turn up before and after EC generated text, and only on the white parts of the page. As a result they can displace text (which makes them easier to spot). A good place to start is the Oasis and Thief Shop due to the smaller space for them to appear.

one question: Will they appear if you continue to reload a specific page, or are the automatically generated if you find the right page?

@spaceinmyhead did some experimenting, yes, when you find the correct page, reloading it will eventually show the egg, due the page being linked to your account.

Also, I've discovered that multiple different eggs can show up on the same page. So even though I found one on a page, I accidentally kept reloading and got a different egg. This makes things a bit more complicated.

I've got 9 eggs so far! Observations: These aren't coded to specific pages, ie eggA is found on pageB, etc, and spam-clicking (ie fast feeding) doesn't seem to increase egg generation. I'd suspect these are more timer-based, like the Gobblers. It does help to be on a short page--

in at 29 eggs and can support that this seems to be time-based 😊 I've just been feeding (yay double feed day) and scroll down to the species blurb on every page and they're usually around there! the last five have taken almost 2-3x as long as the first twenty haha

The Floralope is kinda nice, and those travels are very lovely. (This event is very good at making my lazy butt realise how badly a screen needs to be cleaned...)

@stormwarden I honestly just wait, refresh, and usually one shows up instead of singeing my eyes out of my head by feeding constantly 😭 like I’ll walk away for 20 mins, come back, refresh, and bam

For those still having difficulty, I would suggest feeding on mobile. You can hold the phone right in front of your poor eyes as you scroll down each time you feed. I simply can't spot them on my laptop.
