@smilies @taffy789Hi guys! 83 XD For some reason I'm drawing quite a creepy picture. O_O Lane skipped along and saw some people congregated around some place. She'd lost all track of time and place, not knowing where she was. She hadn't seen a sign of a human being... for a long time... "Oh, hello!" she intruded, clutching her egg "What are you guys doing here?"

@smilies - Oh well, at least dragons aren't some sissy pony. 😉 @celeste - Your not talking to my charrie, because right now, she walked off into the woods... somewhere...... ~ Sarah lifted the egg out of her backpack again. It felt WARM to the touch, but it wasn't scorching hot..... Suddenly, her egg shook violently.It kept shaking and shaking and shaking, with shake getting more and more violent than the rest. The egg glowed red for a few moments, then gave some of it's most violent shakes yet and then...... It stopped. Sarah blinked. Maybe the egg was defective or something. Could eggs even BE defective?

As soon as the impact reached the egg, it cracked open, revealing a black phoenix, eyes as red as blood. A smile crept through her frown and her eyes glinted of satisfaction. "Well, hello there." Cielia said dangerously, picking up the tainted bird, caressing it carefully.

Annibelle picked up the puppy and headed to the ravine again. She walked on the trees, holding the puppy. She made it and climbed down the rocks. When she was the bottom, she saw two girls. "Hi"

(Hey everyone, i'm throwing in an antagonist to make things intresting! 😊 ) Sarah walked back to her home. No, scratch that. CLIMBED. Sarah lived in a huge tree towards te center of the forest, where she'd built a tree fort that could hardly be seen from the ground. It had taken half a year, but Sarah had managed to make it. She was at the base of the tree, and was about to start the climb up when she heard a noise to her left. Before she could even turn, a knife was pressed against her throat. "What a pretty young girl." a cold voice whispered into her ear. "Such a fine prize...." Sarah gagged, and stomped on the man's foot, making him let go of her. That's when she realized she was surrounded. "Dirty thieves..." Sarah muttered. It was the Alki Gang. A band of ruthless cut-throats that roamed the land, burning whole villages to the ground. Known for their murderous ways, they were very deadly. As the gang closed in on her again, one picked up the bag she'd dropped. "Hey, boss! Lock at this weird... AHHHHHHHHH! IT BURNS!" a thief cried out, dropping the egg, which just rolled away, unharmed. But it doesn't burn me...., Sarah thought, mystified.

Cam stared at the strange creature. Something about it... No, HER, he corrected, drew him in. As he watched, the tiny Pegasus opened her eyes and they drilled into his. He couldn't leave the poor thing. It wouldn't last a day by itself. If he remembered correctly, foals would normally stand within the first hour, and could trot and canter a few later. But that wouldn't be soon enough if he wanted to beat the others there. He'd just have to take the thi-HER with him.Mist, something clicked.

"Stop crying you idiot!" the Boss shouted. "If we can't touch the egg, then we can destoy it! We have no use for it!" On the word "destoy" the egg started to shake violently, as if angered. In a second, the egg spilt open, and a blackish-red blur sprung from the eggshells and immidently started to attack the Boss's face, hissing and spitting furiously. A mass confusion broke out, which gave Sarah enough time to quietly slip away, but she stayed close enough to watch out of intrest. It took about five men to grab the little monster and hold him dow, which gave Sarah enough time to get a good look at it. The monster was about the size of her forearm (including his tail). It had bludging blood red, constantly angery eyes, and VERY sharp looking claws and teeth. He looked like a overgrown lizard, except for the fact he had two small wings on his back. The lizard bite the man that was holding him's hand and scampered off into the woods. Out of curiosity, Sarah followed it. But while she was sneaking after it, she heard a thief very faintly say, "Hey! I think there's a HOUSE in that tree!" Sarah sighed. So much for going home.

Silver-Fleck landed......Where am I? Rose wandered off.....something made her feel uncomfortable. She felt someone was there, watching every step she took, memorized what she did. Watching her. Watching her."Wh-Whos there?" She asked to the air. She saw a flash of a person. She ran torwards it, hoping for help. "HELP! ANYONE! HELP!" she screamed."My name is Rose, please help." @orange - That's controling my character. >< Sarah finally managed to find the lizard curled up under a tree. As soon as she approached it, it started to glare at her, as if daring her to come closer. It growled, and shot black puffs of smoke at her, angered. That's when the realization hit her. It was a lizard, it was a DRAGON. Astonished, Sarah took a few steps back from the dragon. She'd only heard about them in stories her nurse used to read to her...... Detriminded to learn more about the creature, Sarah careful crept towards it...... The small lizard leapt at her, and landed in her arm, teeth showing. It then curled around her neck, and fell asleep, it's, no, HIS small wings furled back. "I'll name you....." Sarah said as she watched the dark puffs of smoke lazily drift out of his nostrils. "Darkfire." Sarah smiled out of content for that name. She picked up her bag, and headed towards the road that lead to the nearby town.

That was the last thing he said.Rose walked on and on through the woods following the mysterious man. "We're here" he said with a smoky voice.Rose looked around. "I see. And this is supposed to be....?""--Your new home. I'm taking you here to protect you from the others.""------what others??"Rose asked"Don't ask."That was the end of the conversation.

Cielia looked down at the phoenix as it spit fire on a measly dog that passed by. It held it's head up high as if in royalty. "You know, I think we'll get along just fine~" She said, petting the bird.

As they entered the town, Sarah shoved the dragon in her tunic. (Luckly, he was sleeping, and it didn't bother him.) Sarah knew she had to keep him hidden. Who knows what people would do if they knew there was a LIVE dragon around. They'd probley kill him. Or sell him. Or both. Actually, Sarah wasn't sure how much she actually LIKED Darkfire. He was a hot tempered little thing. Either way, he was going to take some getting used to. At least she had someone to travel with though. Finding a new place to stay would be boring, so maybe traveling across the lands would be better.... (Sarah is at the town outside the forest. 😋 )

"What took you so long!" Cam's father exclaimed when his son stumbled out of the forest. "Look at you!" Several of his father's friends grinned and money changed hands. His father took him in. "What's that you're carrying?"Cam explained, but left out the fact that it was born from an egg, and the tiny detail of the wings.His father looked at Mist doubtfully. "She won't be any use until she's much older." But he left it at that and they entered the Inn.

Sarah decided that before she started traveling, she needed some easy money. And since easy money can only be acquired by one way, stealing, it was clear what she had to do. By the end of the day, she'd pickpocketed a nice amount of change. Just enough to get herself a room at the local Inn, where she was now, relaxing on a chair.
