"Raven...." I started backing away slowly.
"You're dead now," her voice was devoid of emotion, but her eyes glowed.
"Uhm," I said, my usually endless repertoire of come-backs feeling sadly empty. I slid into a fighting stance, hopelessly. We circled slowly, Raven looking for all the world like a bird of prey. For some reason my eyes fell onto my watch. The time... I had five minutes. If they were to be my last... Then so be it.

She had me. Just as my watch clicked into the hour, I was dead. But then...
"Go! Get out of here!" Riley shoved me away from Raven and I stumbled over, numb and badly bruised from the fight. Raven glared bullets, but had to shadify herself from gust of wind as Angelina made her entrance. Angel and Riley held hands as they faced off Raven.
I was a soldier, through and through, and the worst quality of a soldier is they always follow orders, without question. What can I say? I ran.
Little did I know that would be the last time I'd ever see Riley, or Angelina again.

I ran all the way to the school office, which was on the other side of the school grounds, the doubled over, clutching my burning sides and feeling like throwing up.
"Raven," I gasped, trying to explain and failing miserably. Just before I blacked out, I realized the time of my hand might not have been my own death, but someone else's.
THEN I fainted.

~ 12 hours later... ~

I rolled over and groaned. A sharp pain hit me, nearly making me cry out. Ouch.... I gritted my teeth and resumed my previous position. Suddenly I became aware of someone by the side of my bed. Visitor? I drew in breath sharply when I saw who.
But... She was crying? I blinked, confused, and my vision swam before my eyes, going all weird. That must be my night vision. She realized I was awake.
"Mickey... You're okay!" Mickey? I wondered, then remembered.
"What are you doing? Get out!" I hissed.
She looked shocked and hurt, but left. My head pounded. What was with Raven? Ugh...

A few minutes ago Xavier was asked to manipulate the ground so he himself could grow flowers along side the force field. "Roses." he said, flicking his hand up and up came twirling was a dozen or so beautiful roses.

After a while, a nurse came in to check on me. She seemed to absolutely HATE me and I can only assume because she liked Raven, weirdly.
"You'll pay more attention next time crossing the road, won't you?" She snapped.
I nodded wearily, then did a double take. "What?"
"You can't expect to survive next time you get hit by a car!" She muttered something about people with self-regeneration thinking themselves indestructible, which I ignored.
"I didn't get hit by a car!" I yelled. "I-" Then stopped. Who would believe that Raven attacked me, and could do so much damage? "Was run over." I muttered.
She almost looked sympathetic, then scribbled some stuff down about concussions.
