Jade smiled. "I know!" She laughed. "Cleaning up isn't hard though." Jade turned around to shouted to a girl and boy,"Time to clean up!" And they both gave a thumbs-up and levitated everything quickly and stacked everything and cleaned within a matter of minutes. "Nice. Chuck can take over from here."

Jade showered and got into her tattered and faded t-shirt and sweatpants. She lay on her bed for some time, but she peered at something hanging off her dress. It was moving. A small snake? No.. "Wisps of Magic." Jade whispered as she got a closer look. It was a business card, PERSONALLY for Jade, with her full name. And on the back of the card with a little note.

~ I left the infirmity with a smile and a wave, to which the nurse responded with a hard glare. Sheesh. It was great, because the teachers let me off all the homework and assignments. On the downside, I wasn't allowed to take Survival until I was "fully healed." Malingering just never works. Suddenly I remembered Riley. And Angel. They hadn't visited ONCE. Maybe one was injured. I hastened to Riley's room to see if he was in. Knocked. No answer. Being unimaginably rude, but growing increasingly worried, I kicked down the door (harder than you'd think, ouch. Or maybe I'm NOT quite so fully healed after all) and barged in.
OH.
The room was clean, the walls just had a new coat of white paint, and most of all EMPTY. Wrong room then.
But it wasn't. ~

Jade slowly reached for the paper. Once she grabbed it, the magic was gone. "Know Your Future Jade Arce." she read. And then Jade flipped it over, and read the careful handwriting,"You might want to know. Know it before it's too late." Jade's eyes widened, but something tingled. She wanted to know, because this was personal.

Jade took a deep breath. There was no such address, so she would think that she needed to find someone that could tell the future. Positive. But now, she cuddled onto her bed. Aware that Ariel was out. A sleepless night for Jade.

~ Oh, I should SO not have read that horror last night. I keep expecting to find corpses, or large knives, or giant mutant spiders. Don't ask about the last one.
Angel's room is empty too. It's like they packed up and left. But if you ask the teachers, they look at you like you just escaped from a psychiatric ward. Maybe they have been brainwashed...
Or maybe I should stick to non-fiction for a while. ~

When Jade struggled all-night with no sleep, she decided the next day she would find a person who could tell the future. Ariel just stared at Jade, worried. But Ariel was devasted when Jade took to the computer and searched. But she herself remembered that some 'fortune-tellers' were fake. But Jade remembered her own aunt had a superpower, to tell the future. But she was in Phoenix.

Ariel walked into her dorm, expecting to see Jade. "Not around," she shrugged. But the weird thing was, stuff was missing. As if Jade packed it and left. She walked up to her desk, expecting a note, but found nothing close to it. Except.... a business card? To Jade? Ariel's eyes widened as she put it all together. Jade had packed and left. She picked up the card, but there was no such address. Who knows where Jade could be?

The thing that sucks the most about my Sight is I never see anything about ME, unless it's me in the person or objects future or past. And i'd kill to see my own aura. Mickey has a beautiful aura, I thought wistfully. All strong sapphire blue. It reminded me of my mentor's, Ka Niyamo. He was on vacation. The image made me laugh. I did my stretches, then blew out all the candles before going to sleep. *

Xavier did his BEAUTIFUL morning stretch. He eagerly clapped his hands. And that woke Viet up. "Dude. WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" he barked. "First day back to class!!" he squealed. (I should make him more manly? O. o) "Oh joyyyy." Viet grumbled. Truth is, neither of them have ever been to class.
