"Date......?" Those words were unfamiliar to her taste. She shook her head. "No. You?" Jade asked. Then somebody put their hand on her shoulder, she turned around in her dress, and saw Xavier all dressy. "Hey gorgeous." she joked. "I know right. You too look so fine tonight." He laughed.

Ariel strut down in her pretty blue dress and slightly twirled hair. She would wait for Robin. But she caught a glimpse of Viet smiling at her.

Tricia glanced at Ariel's direction. The girl was gorgeous and she knew it. But.... Viet and Robin. Tricia turned back to Jade. "Nope. I don't want a date either." Tricia looked around for some of their friends, and she spotted "RAVEN!" Tricia emitted a rare squeal, and forgetting everything except that she hadn't seen Raven since DEON, she ran over to Raven, squeezing her tight and saying "I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN!!!" Finally when she was off of her sugar high which didn't even require sugar, she blushed and said, "I'm just happy to see you again."

Mike mingled through the crowd. He was waiting for the karaoke to start. He would get a kick out of that. He saw some crazy red head getting really hyped up about it, and made a mental note to watch for her.

Tricia smiled. The real Raven was back. "Hey, Jade? Could we start the karaoke? Everyone is just kinda milling around..."

Jade left her position besides Raven and Tricia without a word and went up on stage. Somebody whistled. Jade spoke into the mic,"Hey Heroes. Kaoroke time! Anybody wanna go first?"

The red head girl took off. She wasn't actually bad. She was TERRIBLY BAD. Mike grabbed a drink and kicked back to enjoy the show. Tricia covered her ears.

Ariel sat in a chair. 'Where's Robin?' she silently cried. But Viet walked over, kneeled down, and asked,"Why aren't you enjoying the party? Theme is T.G.I.F., be bright. Let's dance." Viet offered his hand. "I can't. I'm still in crutches. "Not a problem." Viet smiled. He lifted her up, and began to spin her around.

Jade clapped slowly. And soon Viet and Ariel clapped when they paused from dancing. So did Xavier. But he didn't notice much people clapping.

A few people clapped. Clamping a hand over my mouth to stop my uncontrolable giggles from escaping, I backed slowly off the stage. THEN everyone burst in applause.

Jade laughed. She stepped back up. "Okay then. We'll just hit on some music and start mingling Heroes!" she shouted, and everyone cheered and went to grab a partner for dancing, because they just heard T.G.I.F. BYKATY PERRY, NOT THE LAME RED-HEAD! Xavier grabbed her arm, and they laughed.

Phew! That can't have been a TOTAL disaster. What had I been thinking? I laughed and rejoined my date for the dance. I made a mental note never again to trust party drinks, it must have been spiked.
