Annabell was close to the man now, and she lashed out with her knife, trying to kill him with a knife to the back.
The boy destoryed a few Sallys carelessly, but it was too easy. He blasted bookcases down, and stood in the middle of a small fire, basically. His golden yellow eyes looked murderous with the flames reflecting off of them. Then again, it had been SIX YEARS since he'd first awoken. (Yay for math! 8D)
And the closest he'd got to ever controling was in that forest, but the fool still pushed him down.
Six years..... and now, the fool will have to endure the pain intill entirnty, unless he gives full power to him, of course.
Leon tried to break down the metaphoric "Closet Door", but his evil twin (Lolz) took control when Leon himself was burnt out. He still tried, but his very essense seemed to be burning away.....

NOT GOOD. December hadn't thought about the Sallys adjusting to throwing the knives upwards.
It's VERY difficult to dodge knives when you have limited space and very large wingspan. One had just caught him in the wing, pinning him to the roof and hurting excruciatingly until it was pulled loosed from the ceiling, when the Sallys disappeared. Had Alex and Annabell killed off that gal? Good.
Des landed awkwardly and took back that last word.
He'd rather have a billion Sallys than face whatever entity had just awoken in Alex's Lele. (LOL Lele xD)
He backed away slowly, his wings curling up to make him less noticeable, but still ready.
OUCH that hurt.

The boy's static field was vast, and he could feel something enter it for yards. He turned to Des, and murderous grin on his face. He thought of all the ways he could kill this boy.....
* Leon started to pound on the "door" even harder. He also tried mentally cussing his evil twin out, and wondered if that just made him angier. *Stupid. You should just sit back and watch all your friends DIE.* the boy echoed in their shared mind. *Well, you should just shut up!* Leon groaned mentally, thinking /THAT was the best I could come up with?!?/

(Weird how I can still make these sorta funny? XE)

Hmmm. So that fails. Boy, does Alex need help choosing guys who won't lose it and kill everyone, Des grinned. That makes me the only decent one she's ever dated, right?
"Hey! You know, that expression is REALLY unattractive on you, has anyone ever told you that?" Des tried his best to be annoying in the present climate, then backflipped several meters back.

Xeno had just caught the knife again when the hairs on the back of his neck prickled. What was that? He spun around, then his expression turned to a mask of pain as Alex had got him through the back with a second knife the moment he turned his back in her. He collapsed, dead.
"Sorry to steal your kill," Alex grinned, then froze.
The smile slipped off her face like someone had got a window wiper and scraped it off.
Suddenly the room was filled with about 50 Sallys, all grinning like idiots and holding large knives.

The library disappeared and the room compacted, suddenly there was a lot less space than before. Des sank against the wall in horror, struggling to keep his composure.

Annabell stared in horror. She grabbed Alex's arm, turning her invisable too. "Now what?" she whispered.

The boy's eyes flashed angerily. He aimed at Des and was about to strike him with lighting when his arm lurched up, and missed, puting a burning hole in the roof.
Leon gagged mentally. He COULDN'T kill anyone.... But his very being felt weak, and drained, as if fighting was going to kill him for good. Too bad he'd never cared about risk.
The boy glowered angerily. He was in CONTROL. The fool was going to kill himself fighting back, so he decided to speed up the process, trying to push Leon's mind into subconiousness.
Leon, of course, pushed back, getting despirate.

Des noticed the pathetic attempt and realized what must be happening. Figuring it was now or never, and now was better since he was distracted, he launched his signature spinning-kick-with-wing-boost attack. He needed a better name for that one.

Dusk watched this all from the shadows with an amused smile.
Now he just had to find that traitor.... His smile changed into a menacing snarl.

( @smilies - What? O_o Also, Des is going to get a pretty bad shock. XD Not enough to kill, or knock out, but he'll be pretty dizzy. XD)
Annabell took Alex's word for it, and snuck behind her.
The boy was about to attack back, but it was too late, he flew into a wall, somewhat by the burning pieces of roof. Leon took that as a golden oppritunity to push forward, and successfully broke though the "Door".
And he realized why. He winced in pain. He couldn't move at all, drained emotionly and physically.
His power abandoned him completely, and he gagged, coughing up blood. He was close to death.... Just perfect.
The cut on his chest was deeper than he thought, for it was still trickling out blood, and turned the front of his shirt red. His gloves burnt off, but the metal Annabell's was braclet made out of didn't, but it super-heated, causing a circular burn on his wrist.
Leon smiled. Even if he died, atleast his power wouldn't take over...

Opened my eyes.
Dazzling light.
Searing heat.
Acrid smell.
On closing my eyes, I could see the smoldering remains.
Half the room was gone.
My power was stronger.
I also realized I wouldn't be getting static for a while as a result. I walked through the ashy remains of the room, not believing it. On turning, there was a small door that led back to the library.
"let's go," I said quietly to Annabell, retying my blindfold. *

December yelped with pain and shock as the electricity coursed through his body. He landed awkwardly, stunned, and fell over. He hoped he hadn't broken his foot. Or wing. Or leg. Or anything, because it all hurt pretty much the same.

Annabell rubbed her eyes, she forgot to close them and the harsh light could've blinded her.
She looked at the remains, shocked. "Ok." Annabell said, voice quiet.


Leon just stared at the slowly growing puddle of blood on the floor thinking,
/Major Deja vu./, and chuckling softly.
He shrugged mentally. If you're going to die, why not go out laughing?

Leon almost said no. Wouldn't it just be easier to bleed to death than go though what just what happened again?
Then, he reminded himself that Alex would kill him if he died.
"Yep." he finally gasped. When did he start shaking? He resisted the urge to break down, and closed his eyes, scard.
Like, REALLY scard.
/This isn't going to happen again, don't worry./ he tried to convience himself.

Ew. Des had never actually been trained with healing, but he did his best and stopped the bleeding.
Des then examined his own state. His left wing would definitely be the weak side for flying. Not good. And he had that large cut on his shoulder. Hopefully it wouldn't become infected or anything.
All in all, pretty bad.
Meaning, look at state of his clothes. (At least only his top had been shredded!)
And he needed a shower.

* "Yup," I said grimly. "Think there's a fire user here too? We should move cautiously." My heart lurched painfully when I thought of Leon. He'd used a lot of power up today... *

* I walked very noisily through the ruined room on purpose. The theory was that they'd attack me and Annabell could take them then, but the reality was that I just wanted to express my mood.
This 'vacation' stinks.
I saw a figure lying on the ground and I gasped in horror, running to his side.
Mickey. He was out cold, but other than that, it seemed nothing had touched him at all. I frowned. Self-regeneration.
Standing up, Des saw me and walked over. "Did you get them? Is Annabell okay?" I nodded stiffly. "Everyone else okay?" My voice shook here. "What burnt?"
"Lele will be fine," he smirked but something didn't seem right about his aura. "Will be?" I asked suspiciously.
"Sure," he made a obscure gesture which he was in the habit of that showed me the back of his hand and not much else. "But you owe me one," he whispered as I passed, so that Annabell wouldn't hear. I raised an eyebrow but didn't reply. *

Leon stared at the ceiling, wishing he could go to sleep, for once, he couldn't...
Mostly out of fear... but it seemed as if his power deserted him completely.... It'll be back.
He actually hoped if this happened again, it'll take another six years at least. He also preayed that Des didn't tell a soul..... How would people look at him when they knew????

Hale watched all this without emotion. He looked impatiently at Raven, who had noticeably faded. She was a ghost, and she was going to pass on soon if they did nothing.

Dusk's eye's narrowed when a small sphere he had been clenching in a fist started to pulse. She was near, and so would the traitor be.
A voice sounded in his head, and he departed, grinding his teeth with frustration.
He'd have enjoyed the fight, but it would have to wait.

Annabell found Leon laying in a puddle of blood, still.
"You're alive." she told him and sat down. "What happened?"
"A stupid Sally cut me, and Des had to save me." Leon lied, mumbling. "And I used up my power too much.... You can tell by the fact your stupid braclet didn't melt and it burnt me."
"It's STUPID now, isn't it?" she teased him. " Can you walk?"
"I..... don't know..." Leon confessed.
"Fine...... We'll just leave you here to burn then...." Annabell rolled her eyes, and carefully dragged Leon away from the small flames.

* I made Mickey get up by threatening that I'd leave him alone with Des, who conveniently had started singing again. I got that he sang that bad on purpose.
"The sooner we get out of this darned cage the better," Des muttered, flexing his shoulders and stopped singing when Mickey got up.
"Can you PLEASE wear a top?" Mickey eyed Des, annoyed, and Des looked awkward. I gave him my jacket. "And if my corset is ruined you're buying me another," I muttered.
We trooped over to where Annabell was, (I assume Annabell is visible now?) and I was at Leon's side in seconds, holding his hand. "Leon?" I whispered. *

* I screamed. There is nothing in the world more scary than stepping on a SOLID WOODEN STAIR and have SOMETHING INSIDE THE STAIR reach out and GRAB YOUR FOOT, PULLING YOU DOWN. Through SOLID WOOD.
And still they pulled. We flew through the floor, the invisible someone chuckling everything I screamed. Often.
Suddenly I was standing on a reassuringly solid floor, doubled over and very green, with a splitting headache. He chuckled again and an amulet fell to the floor, exposing him to my presence.
Just when a small girl starting singing, and I knew no more. *

Des looked on in horror as Alex was pulled into the floor. Sure enough, when he spun around, a girl about the same age was eyeing them distastefully. How on earth were they meant to take on so many people? Des groaned and made to stumble forwards to take her but Mickey beat him to it. "Hurry up, go on without me!" He told them, as he and the girl began circling.

Annabell turned invisable. She saw Leon standing there, just gasping at the spot where Alex has stood. She shook him.
"Snap outta it!!" she yelled. "She's fine, but you can't help if you die, run!"
Leon was glad his power was down, or else his static field would've caused a fire. He turned to the empty air that was Annabell. "Ok." he said, detrimined.
Annabell looked over to Mickey. "You sure Mickey?" she called to him.

Too late! The door slammed shut and Des and the others were on one side, Mickey trapped on the other. Just before the door closed, Des could have sweared he saw another figure crawling out of the shadows... He shuddered and decided it was best not to mention that Mickey was tired, outnumbered, trapped and probably very dead very soon.
There was nothing left for it. Des jumped over the step that had taken Alex, just in case someone was still lurking there....

Hale moved Alex's unconscious body to the center of the room and Raven came to sit by her, her dark eyes glittering. Her shadow form had no substance and as she was a mere ghost the words had to be spoken instead before she could enter and take control.
Guithe smiled and spoke quickly, ending with a sharp clap.
The room sank into darkness.

Annabell helped Leon up the stairs, who was unusally quiet, and it frankly scard Annabell.
She wondered what REALLY happened to Leon... she didn't buy the Sally story, or atleast that wasn't all of it.
Either way, he looked... scard, worried, in pain? She could see it reflecting in his usually happy eyes...
For once, she wished Elisa was here so she could tell her what he was feeling.
