Just to say......

I hate math. Least favorite subject. D:<

I'm more into Reading and English classes. ^^ (Though I can't spell. ._. )

@trish - The school learning schedules are WAY different between our states, because I was in honors math last year and didn't learn that. o-o

@taffy789 Oh. I didn't learn that in Honors. Currently, in Honors, we're not even learning Math. 8D Except Mental Math which I can easily do..... O_o

It was cold outside, and raining. Typical. The weather matched the gloomy concrete complex, which could almost give one depression just by looking at it.
Inside, a woman was forced into one of the few rooms with electricity. She was thrown onto a concrete block, with a phone on it. If she had looked up, you would have seen a shell of her former self. Her hair was matted and grey from stress, and her eyes were deep set and wide-eyed and watery. She was so skinny that her ribs could be seen, and her cheek bones were the defining feature on her scarred face.
"Call him." One of her captors commanded.
There was no response from the woman.
The man kicked her in the stomach and tried again. "Call him."
Still nothing. The man was growing annoyed. He grabbed her grubby hair and held her head up. She gazed back at him expressionless. "CALL HIM." He said marginally more forcefully than before. After this request also failed, he whipped out a knife and pressed it against the womans' neck. "If you don't call him I will rip your sh**** little vocal cord out, and you won't be able to make any more f***** calls for the rest of your g*d d*mn LIFE."
The woman gave a fearful nod and grabbed the phone. She dialed a number, and began to speak.

A nurse came in. "Sweetie, your mother's got you in to that nice private school in the next city over. I think it was rather a relief for her actually, poor women, after what happened to your brother. There's a taxi waiting."
The figure on the bed nodded slowly. "Thank you Marianne," Alex said softly, as she slipped off the bed, pushing apart the curtains. She looked no different at all. She made no acknowledgment to the fact she had visitors as Marianne guided her to the door until she paused. "Oh, and someone will have to feed my cat. She likes sausage rolls." Then she left.
Des stared after her, shocked by her complete change. Just then he remembered something. He'd never given her pendant back. Too late.

@trish XDDDD Kasa is 19 now though 😋 But it's not him.

The woman put the receiver to her ear and began to speak.
"H-hello, this, this is me, honey." She spoke nervously. There was a loud response, but the man didn't know what the receiver was saying.
"Y-yes. I-I'm fine dear." The woman gave a fearful glance towards the man, who stared daggers at her.
"A-actually, I, I'm not v-very fine, dear. I- your father and I....-and Carmen... w-we are not..." There was a pause as she listened to the response. She glanced at the man, who was now polishing his knife. His eyes were still fixed on the woman. There seemed to be hesitation before the woman began talking again.
"Y-yes. We, we need h-help. I- y-yes. T-this is where we are, dear...." The woman choked out. The receiver said something.
"Th-thank you th-ank y-you, d-dear, h-help..." The woman looked up at the man and put the phone down.
The man nodded. He seemed satisfied. He shoved the woman back into the hallway and led her back to where she came from.

Leon was completely and utterly crushed.
In fact, Annabell moved away from him to avoid getting fried by his static field, that sparked up to show his true emotions, while his face remained blank.

Alex started singing softly under her breath.

No matter what you do"

She couldn't help feeling that she'd lost /everything/ along with her power.
If the taxi driver noticed the strange building amount of fog (or was it steam?) in the car he said nothing.

(Ok, I need to go to sleep now, I snuck on tonight. 😉 XD )
Annabell wondered what Leon was going though exactly, for it looked like he was at a complete loss. Also,it looked as if his power was about to start a fire, it was sparking wildly.
Leon felt as if his heart shattered into a million pieces.
He also felt light-headed, somewhat sick,weak, his head was pounding, and he wanted to cry for the first time since he watched Old Yeller.
He squeezed his eyes shut and quickly turned out of the room, wanting to get away from everyone.
'At least she's not dead. At least she can live a normal life now, and won't run the risk of dying everyday.
At least now she can find a guy that can actually PROTECT her.'
On that last thought, there was an explosion, followed by the fire alarm ringing. And there was a hole in the hallway wall caused by a huge electical pulse.
Leon ran out of the hospitable quickly.

He wondered if he'd have to be the one feeding the cat.

Jade threw everything away when she saw the scene. She didn't say anything. Because she now envied Alex, instead of hating her, she wished she was just plain human, less trouble...

People can have a whole new perspective right? I can finally see what I've done wrong with my life. All these secrets, differences, and changes in my life. I've spent the last year in superschool WRONG. I CAN be different from how I am now. I've been so MEAN AND BAD, now I can really see that I'm a rotten person. But from this moment on, that's gonna change.

Mickey wished Alex all the best for her new life mentally in a rather uncaring way then got into the car, waiting for the others.
Then he got bored and just left without counting who hadn't got in.

Annabell rode along in complete silence.
It was pretty clear Leon had that whole "Don't talk to me now." air around him as he leaned his head against the window of the car.
Also, Annabell saw what happened with that giant hole in the wall, and didn't want that to happen in the car.
Elisa poked her. "Did that girl die?" she asked so quietly only Annabell could hear her.
"No. She left, her powers gone." Annabell replied at the same voice level.
"And she left Leon?" Elisa thought for a moment. "Remember how I said love was a stupid, useless emotion?" Elisa pointed to Leon. "Well, exactly."
Annabell scooted away from Elisa, but couldn't help to to see her point.

~ Unfortunately, I was engrossed in a medical magazine when Mickey told the car to get going. So I was, figuratively, stranded. But really, I could have just caught a taxi and went to the city that the school was near, and then walked from there. Instead I used my time to do some shopping, (books and clothes) and then left.

Sitting in the taxi, I couldn't help but sympathize with Leon. It was highly inconsiderate of Alex to just leave him like that. But there was a scientific explanation for it. Perhaps her power had replaced cells in her frontal lobe, changing her personality, but when her power was taken away, those cells were no longer there. The cells in the frontal lobe, the part of the brain responsible for personality, could have re-grown differently.

I also wanted to take care of the cat.~

@everyone When Tricia is talking about Alex's brain, it relates to why they have their powers. @taffy789 would understand. Remember that while Tricia was with Hewitt and the rest, she studied that.

The new Jade spent the rest of her time, ignoring that guy named Mickey as he drove away, sitting on a bench, thinking. Coming to a hesitate conclusion, she came to the decision to leave. Who knows where she will go? Anywhere normal. She wished she was Alex, abandoning her power all together. Because Jade knew if she used her power, she would be that secret keeping fool again. Jade called Monroe, politely asked him to pick her up, and fly her a far distance away from superschool.

Could you really blame her though? She'd been raised to help perform horrible deeds onto people since she was like, 7.

^ I finished packing my small bag. I had places to go. I didn't care if I was going to face punishment, my mind was made up. I could get there in a day if I hurried.
My mind flickered quickly to Annabell, but I shook my head. There were some things more important than her. I slipped out my window and left.

I hoped that I would come back. ^
