You have no idea about the suffering and trials and STRESS poor soldiers have to go through, like being attacked by the enemy's famous Fire unit, and fight them off while running away, while your partner simply disappears and you have to hid in a ditch for seven hours.

"Huh?" Morphine appeared startled by the question. "I was right here."
He stared. "Um, NO you weren't. I'VE been right here for seven hours!"
"Me too. Wow, it's been that long?" She asked absently.
"What's your power again?!?"
"You don't know already? Like, MORPHine," she rolled her eyes. "Let's get this show on the road."
Mickey looked at her, exasperated. "We ARE on the road, and have been all day."

Katherine was still bawling 20 minutes later.
I couldn't blame her though, she'd lost her brother.
Memories threathened to explode inside my head, and I blocked them out.
I stood there, fidgeting while Mac was comfronting Katherine. It was pretty obvious they had a thing for each other, but knowing that at anytime, you could die REALLY complicated things.
After another 15 minutes, we left, practically having to DRAG Katherine away from Eddy's side.
We couldn't spend another second here, the enemy might come back. (Even if they did, Mac would hear them coming from a mile.)
As soon as we dragged ourselves to the camp, Katherine ran off to the girl's bunker, and Mac went to go report in.
Leaving me alone. I mentioned it before, but Eddy and I usually hung around together, for it helped me not drift away into one of my depressions.
I shuttered, and decided that rest was the best opinion. When you're asleep, memories don't seem to chase after you like when you're awake..... *

Mickey raised his head slowly to look over the rock into the enemy camp. Chances are, a user knew they were in the area. That's why they had the distraction.
Three, two, one, ZERO, he counted down.
Nothing happened.
Or rather, you could see what was happening. He turned around to look at Morphine, only to find she'd vanished. "Oh, boy," he muttered, and slowly started for the camp.

Mickey ducked behind a trash can and watched with narrowed eyes as several users ran past, one of them coiling water around his hands. He quickly stepped away from the trashcan when they'd gone.
He didn't know what they ate, but it smelled awful.

So, Fayner had given him completely no idea where it was, what it looks like or even what it does. So, he figured it was back to the old routine of kicking down doors and seeing if anything that looked remotely dangerous or like a weapon was there.
Annoyingly, the first door he took down was a warehouse full of artillery.

Mickey wondered if he was meant to go through every box. Personally, he hoped the secret weapon would be a bit bigger. But then, a big thing would be hard to get out...
He took some guns anyway, and continued combing the camp, and trying to stay out of view. He wondered what Morphine was doing.

There was a small, perfectly round pebble in his pocket. Frowning, Mickey threw it into a large muddy puddle. Unfortunately, the large muddy puddle was actually a Glaeroe soldier trying to get some Zzzs, and he started chasing Mickey.

Luckily, when Mickey finally managed to ditch the large muddy puddle chasing him into the vile smelling garbage the muddy puddle didn't dare raise the alarm, as he had meant to be on duty and didn't want the lashing.
