The driver had to honk several times to wake Morphine up to the fact they had arrived. Morphine, forgetting that it was the driver she'd nicked it from, gave him his own wallet back and skipped up the drive to the school.

"Can you tell us about Tori? She wouldn't." Mrs. Arce asked.

Justin nodded.

"Toralei is the emperor & empress's daughter. She's wealthy. But she also wants a title. So she's a Gladiator. Tough stuff. But everyone knows she's too young and will die in battle. But she hasn't. She battled against people much older than her, and I mean MUCH. But Toralei outside of the Colosseum, she's a great girl." he said.

"Well, we can't really see under that armor, but she looks like a teen. Maybe our age. What makes her too young?" Alice asked curiously, because she remembered there were Gladiators her age in the Roman ages.

"How old is she then?" Alice asked.
Justin bit his bottom lip, and hesitated.

The whole groups jaws gaped.
"SHE'S F**K*N* 12!?!?!?!?!!?" Ale exclaimed.
Justin nodded.
Just then, Toralei came back, shy.
They all looked at her, because she was still in her armor.
"Tori. You don't have any matches scheduled today. C'mon! Let's hang out with these newcomers. Go change! Must be heavy." Justin made conversation.
"No thanks. I like my armor." Toralei adjusted her armor.
"Your changing! Or I'm not gonna hang out with you anymore." Justin argued. And gave Toralei a fake yet funny pouty face.
This made Tori smile. "Fine." she whispered, a cast a glance at the group.

***15 minutes later***

Toralei comes back. She's short. With wavy shades of brown hair in a side ponytail. She's wearing a shirt under but still kept on her Breastplate armor. With denim shortie shorts and black leggings. Wow.

/This is the tough Gladiator?/ Alice thought, shocked.

* After cleaning myself up, (That took 20 minutes and alot of cursing) I decided to just turn in early.
So I was looking forward to a nice rest when a captain stopped me on my way to the bunker.
"You. Guard duty." he said, seizing me up.
I was about to run away fast, maybe screaming when Mac came up behind me.
"I'll take his shift tonight captain." he said, saving me.
The captain sneered, but agreed to it.
I let out a sigh of pure relief. "Thank you." I gasped.
"Don't mention it... I know how much you hate guard duty. I'll never get why though, it's just one night without sleep, hardly anything every happens." Mac told me, looking at me for answers to my hatred of guard duty.
"Maybe i'm scard of the dark." I shrugged, lying.
I walked into the bunker and collasped on my cot in relief that I didn't have to have guard duty.
I've hated it ever since what happened.....
I blinked, not wanting to remember. I rolled on my bed, trying to sleep.*

* "Okay, this section is clear, now we can head back.."
I was hard to listen to Mac talk when Mipsy, who was clinging to my arm, (Trying to pry her off was useless, trust me.) and Katherine was making kissy faces at me, teasing me.
When Mipsy and Mac weren't looking, I pointed to Mac and made the small kissy faces at her.
She got really annoyed, and showed me her middle finger, making me just laugh.
"But it's getting pretty dark, we should just spend the night here." Mac said. "I wonder why they sent us here in the first place, it's prefectly clear...."
For some reason, my stomach dropped. I thought that seemed like a bad idea, but I didn't say a word.
"Either way, Katherine, Mipsy, go gather firewood, and me and Sunny will set up the camp." Mac said, looking at us.
Mipsy gave Katherine an uneasy look.
"May I stay here Mac?" she asked him, looking down.
"Sure, then, Mipsy, stay here and help me pitch tents, Sunny Katherine, gather firewood please."
Mipsy looked disappointed that she got stuck with Mac rather than me, but didn't say a word.
Katherine and I then walked off, leaving them at the campsite.*

"I really can't see why you just give Mipsy a chance." Katherine shook her head.
"Yes, and watch her cry over my dead, bloody body as the life drains out of me." I rolled my eyes.
"You're getting emo again, take your antidepressents." Katherine snorted.
I stuck out my tounge at her, and we gathered the firewood in silence, into a buzzing sound broke it.*

I quickly pulled it off my belt, and clicked the button.
Before I could even say hello, I heard screaming.
"Sunny! Katherine! It's after me!!! Mac, Mac was holding it OFF!!!!!" Mipsy screamed the last word, and there was a lot of backround noise that came afterword.
It sounded like the radio was dropped, then a WOOSH sound, as if a cold wind was blowing, then a terrible roar, followed by one last terrible scream... that was suddenly cut off.
"MIPSY! Mipsy, come in!!!!" I shouted desperatly into the radio.
Katherine gave me a look filled with pure shock and terror.
We both started for the place we'd set up camp at.

*I gagged. The tents were in ruin, and on the ground was Mipsy's mangled, bloody body. Her neck was slashed, and so was her chest, all covered in bright red, glossy blood.
Frost was all around her body, and sparkling on the trees and grass like small diamonds, as if she tried, and failed, to defend herself in her final minutes.
It looked like an animal had attacked it, and her usually sparkling blue eyes were glazed over, and I immedentily regreted how i've been treating her for the past weeks.
I looked in Katherine, and something flashed in her eyes.
She turned away, and I tried to follow, but she pushed me back.
"Stay HERE." she commanded me, growling.
I waited, and waited, and waited....
A whole 5 seconds. A new personal record for me.
I ran after her, detrimined to not let anyone else die. *
