* "Oh dear," the nurse muttered. "Students fainting all over the place- panadol my ****."
I opened one eye and tried not the giggle. I couldn't believe the nurse had just said that. I wondered if I could get her sacked. I wouldn't, of course. Although I could, for what she was doing to me. But my predicament was hardly her fault.
I muffled a squeak as she dropped me on the bed and wished I could freeze time as her footsteps slowly faded away. *

Leon opened his eyes after the nurse left, and looked at the other hospiable bed. he immidentily saw who it was, and quickly turned around, pretending to be asleep again.

Maybe then, he won't feel like he needs to tell her...
"Alex?" he asked softly. "Do you want to know where i'd been for the last few months?"

Leon took in a deep breath of air. His back was still to Alex.
Even though he was going to lie about where he really was, the feeling of dread and sadness and memories still were waved into him.
"I wa staken to one of those facilities the gov' has set up everywhere. This one was called DEATH." Leon reminded himself to remember that name. "They performed alot of tests on people, which kinda explains my hair and eye color better." Leon added sheepishly.
"Then there was a riot....." Leon choked up here. He started to be mad at himself for even think of adding this next part.
"Lots of people died." Or course, by that he meant his friends, who all died such horrible deaths...
"After the riot, they decided to send me back. I guess they were going to kill me, but somehow i'd gotten away with it."
That part was also true. He should've died at IoD, but somehow survived......
"And that's it." Leon said plainly, then fell silent.

"Yeah." she managed to choke out in reply.
She turned around quickly. "I should really go, maybe find a body guard or something." she tried to joke despite the current situtation.
Annabell quickly left.
