And he'd just broke up with his girlfriend.
At least the GUYS had to ask, or he wouldn't be able to step outside his dorm.
As it was, he'd just have to figure out a few alternate ways to the canteen.

Blaine stood in what felt like the center of the room, while the truth was he was far from it. The reason for that was the fact that he was the center of attention for nearly every girl in the area. He pivoted slowly around on the spot, and tried to identify a girl he could consider asking. Ach.
He knew several girls he could always try, but he'd rather not. Not exactly his type.
The school seemed to have separated into two, the girl side and the guy side.
He wondered where everyone else on his side was hiding.

Sensing competion in the air, it was easy to make them burst into random catfights.
