Then a figure flashed by.
Maryse thought it was a mirror or a shapeshifter.
Even so, she could feel the black magic behind the figure.

Ren closed his eyes as the rain kept up its strict rhythm against the roof. He hated the rain. The sound seemed to penetrate his very soul.
It was annoying.
What did he really think about Alex now? It was so strange seeing her again. Soon he'd be going away too... For a minute he fantasized about going back to her school with her, then laughed. He so could not see himself in that picture.
But seeing himself staying with the circus? He couldn't see that either. He frowned, troubled.

* "Oh! Hey, Alex!" I turned. "Oh, hi Nevarda," I sighed.
"Don't look so glum. YOU'VE got a boyfriend, you're all right," she poked me. "The rest of us mortals have to stalk the good ones and hide from the others, it's hard work I'll have you know!"
"Pfft. So did you get one?" I asked.
"Yeah. He's from another school though, I met him in town."
"We're allowed to do that?!?"
"Of course," she blinked. "Well actually I didn't check, but whatever."
Hmm. I looked up at the sky thoughtfully. *

Catcher winced as the knife nicked his arm. He yanked his sword from his boot and struggled into a defensive position. "Li'l help, Anna?" he grunted, sweating from the struggle.

Summer shoved Iris aside and blocked one knife with her own. "Guess who's been practicing?" she snarled.

Annabell nodded in reply, and charged at Stephaine, invisable.
She was moving so fast though, it was hard to hit her.

Andy growled, and picked up two knives in each hand, and charged the two girls, grinning evily.

Iris floated out of range and used telekinesis to pick up a knife for defense. Summer stood her ground and prepared herself.

Catcher tried to distract Stephanie by swinging his sword at her.

Stephiane jumped out of the way of Catcher's sword, but was still cut on the arm, because her feet suddenly very heavy feeling, and there were alot of sparks as soon as she tried to lift her foot.
"Static cling." Leon grinned evily.

Andy rushed at Summer, slashing at her with both his knives at once.

The figure pulled back Maryse's arms and gagged her before Maryse could yell 'Muse!' or 'Help!'
Muse pulled back her lips in an unusual snarl and threw Maryse in her dorm, unconscious.
Muse checked to see no bystanders except for Jade.
/Psh. That girl wouldn't know if the school was attacked by monsters./ Muse rolled her eyes. Truth is, Jade wasn't even looking, too busy twirling her pretty little light brown hair around.

Annabell advanced on Stephaine, and lashed out with her knife, cutting the girl's arm.
Andy heard Stephaine then scream, and telaported right behind Leon, and struck him with the back of a larger knife oh his head, so Leon hit the floor, gurgling a bunch random sounds.
"Steph, there's too many, run!" Andy commanded Stephanie.
With a flash of fear in her eyes, Stephanie did as told.
Andy was about to telaport away when he saw Annabell out of the corner of his eye. At least he coukd take a life if they were fleeing....
In a flash, he telaported right behind a rather suprised Annabell, quickly put a knife to her neck, and was about to cut....

In real life, you need to allow a few minutes leeway.
Good thing too. "Um Alex? You should probably get to the bathrooms, ASAP, or else um.... This is sort of a lie..."
"Oh right!" I exclaimed, and sprinted right over, with difficulty as I had to keep out of sight for safety's sake. *

@smilies I'm in Honors Language Arts 7TH GRADE. BUT THIS CLASS IS LIKE, FOR 8TH GRADERS. >.< Reading Logs & Full-page summaries daily with COMPLIMENTARY WORD GENERATIONS WITH TONS OF BOOKS! 8D So I finished Reading Log #1. Then skipped #2 and put it as #3 so it wouldn't look like I was behind. Now I'm on #5. 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDD



/Bathroom Break./ Jade thought. She HAS to build her own private bathroom! Arghh... Public ones are so gross. Ew. Mutated Number 1 with weirdo power poo.

Jade avoided Alex and went right to the sink and mirror. Untying the hair ties in her braid, her hair came out so wavy and cute. She occasionally glanced at the reflection of Alex through the mirror.
