Des was looking out of a third floor window that had an expansive view of the student grounds, where many were taking advantage of the sunny weather. He narrowed his eyes and examined them carefully. He couldn't believe there was one here, blending in with the students and he had never noticed, or suspected a thing. Whoever they were, they must be good. But he was the best, so he figured he didn't have much to worry about.

Annabell was sitting in the cafeteria, making a bucket list. She'd realized that at the rate that disasters seemed to happen in her life, she was only going to live another 2 years tops.
So it seemed like the completely reasonable thing to do.
She had just finished the first ten when a voice said behind her, "You should add "Get driver's lisense to that."
"Hi Leon." she sighed.

Blaine finished his report and sighed. Why couldn't the stupid govt give him a rest? Like, sure he owed them one for busting him out of that scientific hell but this was such a DRAG. Drag drag drag drag drag. But then, he could always feed them false information and have them arrest teachers, he supposed.

Annabell shoved the list into her pocket while Leon slid into the seat by her.
"I don't know why you need to worry about dying, I mean, you'll probley going to live longer than me anyway." he shrugged.
"What? I've seen you live though the craziest things...." Then she realized what he was talking about.
"Don't worry about that, Leon. We probley have plenty of time to figure something out....."
"At this point, I really don't care." Leon rolled his eyes. "Ya know, after a certain point, you kinda come in terms with death. My only regret is.... that I didn't die how I also thought I was going to." Leon then pretended to be choked up.
"In a car crash after a daring daylight robbery. Poor, poor me."
Annabell cracked a small grin, but was kinda distrubed by the fact that Leon was taking the fact that he might die in such stride.

Black smoke, uncoiling and choking me. My eyes burned and I raised a hand infront as if to shield them. I coughed and doubled over, but refused to give up. One foot... Infront of the other... The heat waves blurred everything and I felt dizzy. I reached out to grab something to steady myself but my hand closed on thin air, and I hit the ground. No!
I opened my eyes and immediately I was blinded by the raging inferno. Distantly I heard someone scream.

Ack! I hit the floor hard, gasping for breath. It had been a long time since I had had that old nightmare.
The thing was, I wasn't there.
I hadn't been there.
I had always had a feeling that the memory was Riley's, but I had never asked him about it.
And now it was too late.
Riley... I sighed. Why was I surrounded by death? Why... Had he died??? And why couldn't I have stopped it!

Leon got up with a fake dramatic yawn.
"I think i'm going to turn in." he lied, but really just had nothing else to say.
It's a good idea about clearing up a few things before you die. I wonder what my list would include? Leon thought to himself and started for the student grounds.

Leon was walking on the student grounds, thinking about what would be on his list.
Then he tripped.
Over a person.
After landing face first and managing to get a brunch of leaves to cling statically to his hair, he turned to the person he tripped over.
He saw a flash of red hair, and he did a quick double-take to realize it was a guy.
"Oops. Sorry." Leon quickly said, getting up.
I'm probley going to get beat up now. Leon thought.

After jumping up like he'd been shocked, Ren gave him one quick look over then closed his eyes and fell backwards on to his back, then yawned and stretched. "Just try not to make the same mistake twice, will ya?"

@smilies - Static cling. ^^ His hair is really staticity.
Other things that get stuck to him : Ballons, leaves, cloth, tissues, old pieces of string, socks. X)

"I REALLY can't promise you that." Leon groaned.
He started to pull the leaves out of his hair, making a loud buzzing sound, and even worse, the leaves started to stick to his hands, making the predictament even worse.
Finally, he just gave up.

"Hey. It's alot more frusrating when you're the one have to deal with this. I can't even get out of bed with the sheets trying to eat me." Leon said, brushing the rest of the leaves off the palms of his hands.
Good news was, he'd gotten MOST of the leaves from his hair, but it was now stil messier than usual.

Jade gave one big kiss to her pink slip.
"Detention must've been jacked up without me." she laughed.

As Jade approached the detention room, Jason was coming the other way. He pulled her into the detention room and sat her down on a chair.
"Look, Jade. What's going on?" Jason asked.
"Whatever do you mean?" Jade yawned.
Ag. This is gonna be tough. Jason thought.
So he tapped Jade's sunglasses, and raised an eyebrow.
"Um..." Jade wondered what to say.
Then Jason took the glasses off.
"No!" Jade exclaimed, but it was too late.
Jason was a statue with a horrified expression.

He had a rather arrogant air, and pronounced his name carefully. "Nice to meet you." He also often seemed sarcastic for no reason. "Unique," he added as an afterthought, for no aparent reason.
