Catcher followed behind. He was eager to have a good time.

Summer, hearing someone say Friday, cranked up the stereo and started playing My Moment. 'Note to self: delete these hideous songs off of my iPod.'

"Excuse me. I have to go look at something." Tyler told Iris and kissed her cheek in a show of fake affection. She giggled and he walked off. Catcher bumped into him as he weaved through the crowd. "Uh, sorry." Catcher mumbled and ran to catch up with Annabell. Tyler looked at his face and realization spread across his face. Another one. He growled. Just as he expected.

Des glanced at her. "Oh. Hey," he flicked his hand in a dismissive gesture, then glanced at his watch. They should be coming soon, he'd better get into position.
Darn it! That twerp Blaine had distracted him and he'd lost sight of that girl...
Never mind her. Lie, say she never made it, he never found her. They couldn't possibly care so much about a WEAKLING like her. Four digits... Des scowled in disgust and made off through the crowd. At least he didn't need to pretend to be a happy little kiddy anymore.

Blaine watched Des, his eyes narrowing. Foolish for underestimating him. They both were.
What did he want though?
"Isn't this cool huh? Ooh, your dress suits you perfectly! I like the colour, it really brings out your eyes... What do you think, Blaine?" With Nevarda's voice, she sounded almost sarcastic. Her friend looked at her weirdly.
"Huh?" Blaine blinked.
"Haha, you completely zoned out, you space cabinet," Nevarda giggled, and Blaine smiled darkly before turning his attention back to Des.
Darn. He gave me the slip.
So he wants a game of tag, does he?

Faith huffed. 'He DITCHED me.' she thought, somewhat angered.
"Oh well," Faith sighed. "At least I got his wallet. I'll give it back later...maybe..."

Annabell waited for Catcher to catch up to her. "They really went all out decorating... Ha, ballons, Leon's going to throw a fit....." she laughed to herself.

"Can we dance?" Alex asked, more a demand than anything else.
"What?!? No way!" Ren looked horror-struck.
"Renjiiiii, this IS a dance," she pouted.
"That was SO not on the contract. Nuh uh," Ren furiously refused.
"I know you can dance," Alex begged.
"I'm not moving an inch!" Ren would never, ever, ever do it.
Alex looked pointedly at the fact she was still dragging him, which meant he was moving.
"Not in this dimension or any other!"

Catcher ran to catch up and then stepped on a balloon with a loud POP. "Oops." he said and kicked the shreds of balloon away.

(someone tell me when ze dance is going to end, I need to do something towards the end.

"So, your power?" Jessica questioned Leon, not really paying attention to how downcast he now looked.
"Oh, electricty. Static mostly." he replied, and started to scan the crowd.
"Ohhh, static? Like, when you rub a ballon on someone's head, and it sticks to a wall?" Jessica spotted a ballon nearby.
"....I'll be back soon." she grinned evily and ran off.
Leon wasn't really paying attention.
He'd just got a glimpse of Blaine talking to a girl in a not-that-modesty cop outfit (Not Alex, thankfully).
He looked though a crowd again, and finally spotted her tugging on that "Normal" boy he'd seen before arm. The boy, (Reno, or something?) looked terrified.
Leon could almost laughed, and, he did.
Still, he got up and shifted his way though a cword intill he was close enough to Alex.
"Hehe, going goth on me, are you Alex?" was the only thing that popped into his head at the moment.

Nevarda blinked as Blaine started striding off through the (Gym?), presumably looking for someone. Ah, who was she to try and comprehend how that boy ticked?
"Oh! Hai Alex!" She ran over to her friend ecstatically and started boring the hell out of Ren.

Morphine watched discreetly, her wide eyes following every movement of the number 6, who was being followed by some other random cute kid. She wondered if anything was up, if the number 6 had any plans. Mmm...

Ren, (who was no longer terrified, btw, more like really bored, and very annoyed, very much wanting to leave, and was even thinking of starting a fight just to alleviate the dreadfull drollness) narrowed his eyes. "What do you know, it's Bush-head from before," he drawled.

Leon shrugged. "What, it's illegal to say hello now?"
He raised an eyebrow at Ren. "Oh, it's Rena, or Rainy Day or something." Leon shrugged, supressing a smile.
He elbowed Alex lightly in the ribs. "Got tired of those gaggling girls swarming Blaine? You go though guys pretty fast, don't you?"
Leon wasn't such how he could say this all while still acting cheerful, but he managed it pretty well.

Ren decidedly ignored the guy's feeble taunts and turned to Alex. ""Go through guys pretty fast?" Sheesh, however did you manage one?" Then he blinked. "Hey, we are SO-"
Alex glared at him with glowing orange eyes and a clear promise of pain later if he didn't shut up.
"You know, I'll just leave and... Something..." Ren made his escape.

Leon laughed.
He waggled his finger mockly at Alex. "Tsk, tsk, scaring off your date isn't a good impression." he grinned, but then said more seriously, "But really, What happened to Blaine?"
He tried to say that like he didn't care that much and openly failed.

"Thankfully, I haven't. But i'll tell you if it comes up." Leon rolled his eyes. "That's not what I meant...You don't have to tell me if you want, but if it was a bad break-up, or if "SOMETHING" happened, you can tell me and i'll be happy to static-stick him to a wall for a few hours, maybe even hang him upside-down." Leon winked at Alex good humorously, but he really meant every word.

"Just making sure." Leon grinned.
He looked into Alex's eyes and a thought popped into his head.
He waved his hand in front of Alex's face.
"Hey, just asking, can you PLEASE explain why I can see your eyes without it being the LAST THING I EVER SAW?? I'm lost." Leon complained.
"Actually, explain everything that happened since a few months ago when I thought you left. I atleast deserve that, right?"

Leon's smiled faded. He had to fight down a lump that formed in his throat. "I'd really rather not talk about it unless I need to Alex." Leon finally managed to choke out. "Besides, I told you some things about it already...."
Leon started to rub his left arm neverously, glad that his coat was covering the armband. Which reminded him about that stupid tattoo, the last evidence he was even at IoD... It disgusted him. He'd thought about getting it removed, and had thought as far as cutting it out himself at points.
All those things that happened... he'd rather not remember. He didn't even want to believe they were true himself. If only it was all just a sick, twisted dream....

"Dude. You've got to help me." Alice pulled Jade away from Jason.
"What?" Jade asked, irritated.
"Jasper came here with a really cool date." Alice said.
"So?" Jade asked, wanting to go back.
"SO! I thought you were my friend! HELP." Alice rolled her eyes. But she got impatient, and elbowed Jade until she crashed into Jasper.
Jade gave Alice the evil glare.
"Sorry Jasper. Alice is being a crackhead." Jade apologized.
"S'okay." Jasper nodded. "Nice costume Jade. You thief. Fits." he winked. Oh, that was an insider's joke. Haha.
"Omigod. Hey Paisley!" Jade hugged her.

Alice, from a distance, dropped her jaw and stared.
Jade KNEW HER?
She squeezed her eyes shut like this was a nightmare, and when she opened them, Paisley and Jade were deep in conversation.

Leon felt a pange of annoyence.
The annoyence quickly turned to sadness.
Couldn't Alex see how much this subject hurt him?
Even if he could get over the fact it choked him up to even REMEMBER what happened, it would be impossible to admit everything that happened... Especially to Alex.
He looked at his hands, and could almost imagine them stained with blood.
The very idea of admiting that filled him with utter terror.
He looked back at Alex once again.
If he could only think of something to say....
Then, the sadness was gone, replaced by anger, and a subtle feeling of betrayal.
Leon reached to his neck, and pulled a charm off it. He started to walk in the same direction as Alex was, and when he was close enough to her,he pressed the charm into her hands, and whispered in a sharp, cold tone loud of enough for her to hear,
" Okay then, but promise me next time you leave a guy after he'd spent the last hour not knowing if you were dead or alive, you leave him something or than, "My cat likes sausage rolls." Oh, and when that said guy comes back from h*ll, make sure the first time he sees you again isn't when your making-out with your new boyfriend, okay?"
Leon then, still with an air of coldness around him, turned and pushed though the crowd, out of sight.

Ooh, BURN. Ren watched from a distance as Alex fled the party scene in record speed after staring blankly at the same spot for several minutes. He grinned as she pushed several couples right over in their haste, creating a small domino effect. He should probably go comfort her.
...
He was so not in to that.
Besides, this meant he could leave too, right?

Darn! He'd lost him yet again. This kid was GOOD. He was meant for this kind of stuff. And Blaine wasn't. He sighed. Why bother? It's not like he was going to do anything, tonight of all nights...

"Hehe!" Morphine giggled, clapping her hands together. This was so fun!

"Jazz! This is the perfect song to shuffle to!" Paisley giggled.
Before long, they had a whole two rows of shuffling to the song '3 by Britney Spears'.
Jade and Jason stood out of it. Watching with curious eyes.

That's it. Shuffling. I could do that. I could get in line next to Jasper. So I dived in to the increasing rows nex to Jasper. "This is fun." I raised my voice over the song and commotion. Paisley gave me a little wave. Eh.
Then I was struck with something, the thing I forgot.
I left Maryse in the closet for 2 weeks now.
