Catcher tapped Annabell on the shoulder. "I have to go, I'll be right back." he ran after Iris who had told him that she had a surprise for him. Tyler saw Catcher leaving and followed him closely. Mina stopped him. "Hey, cutie. Where are you going?" Tyler pressed his fingers into a spot onto her neck. She struggled and choked and then fell down, dead. He quickly continued his pursuit of Catcher and Iris. "Found you." he hissed. He pulled a small, pistol-like gun out of his pocket and aimed it and them. "You're an escaped government subject." he pointed it at Iris. "You're a traitor." he pointed it at Catcher. He pressed it to Catcher's forehead. "That guy who broke your arm? He's dead for assisting a fugitive of the government." He backed away, and with two quick puffs, darts sprouted from Iris and Catcher's necks. "Say your prayers, you'll need them where you're going now." Tyler cackled. Catcher's vision faded to black.

"Okay." Annabell had chimed, but Catcher had already left.
As she turned, something caught her eye. Well, more like someone.
"That friend of yours ditched me." Jessica complained, walking over to join Annabell. "I saw him leaving. Some guy." she huffed.
Annabell shook her head. "It had to be a good reason..... he wasn't be feeling...well lately." she defended Leon, wondering what really caused him to leave.
"Hey, I got ditched too!" Faith pipped up, and joined into the conversation, uninvited.
"Des isn't a good date. See if I let him take me again, I should've let him rot singing limericks! ...At least I got his wallet."
Jessica laughed, and gave Faith a highfive while Annabell just sighed and said, "Faith, we really need towork on your social skills."

Finally, Blaine cornered the guy in a deserted corridor.
Des sighed, and got out his cell phone.
"What are you doing?" Blaine asked suspiciously. "Put it down, now!"
Des snickered. "Or what, you'll fight me?" He turned and showed Blaine the tattoo of the number 6 on his back.
Blaine's eyes widened. "No way..."
"And now it's too late," Des smirked, holding up the cell to show the distraction had given him all the time he had needed. His feet suddenly felt very cold. Looking down, he let out a hiss of annoyance. He was frozen to the ground.
"You can't do anything about it now though. I already sent the message. All your friends in there, they're dead," he taunted.
Blaine sighed. "Really? Well, I guess you can really make that little cell waiting for you feel like home then."
"As if," Des snorted.
"You think your friends are going to rescue you here?"
"..."
The fire alarm went off.

Blaine turned to look at the gym. It wasn't on fire. He frowned.
Smoke started pouring in from the adjar door of the staff room.
And Des was gone.

I wasn't getting any luck here. Jasper is too loving to Paisley. Jade's not helping at all. I mean really! My best friend! Wait. Now that I think about it...... she's one of my only friends since I lost Skylar. Oh god. The tears.

I burst out the gym doors. Storming through the halls, actually, more like frosting them. It was literally snowing in the halls once I passed. "I don't have problems!" I screamed as some people whispered about me.

But once I reached the closet, I opened the door.
Nobody was there. Not a trace. Except for a note.
"I know what your keeping." It read.

What could this mean? Alice didn't think anyone saw her.

*FIRE ALARM JUST WENT OFF*

What happened was that someone set fire to the staff room. Luckily, no one was injured, thanks to the heroic actions of the water instructor, however, many documents were burned, their contents is not released to the public 😸

Fire Alarms = Sprinkler system.

Which means most of the gym cleared out pretty fast.
That being said, Annabell was back in her dorm ringing out her hair.
She reasoned that Catcher probley just went back to his dorm to, and decided not to worry about it.

I would've personally picked Disney World. 😱

But never Six Flags. I went there, and a guy I knew was attacked by a giant cat! (True story, don't ask. XD)

Info: At IoD the numbers are simply to identify people with. So the older you are, the smaller the number you have. That means you're survived for a very long time. Of course, everyone with low numbers like two digits would have long died out. However, on every side, there is always a 1-9. These are the ninth strongest warriors on the side.

Des flew down low, hovering just over the calm blue sea. Suddenly he was pushed right down into the water by a huge weight. He fought his way back to the top and surfaced, spitting out the sea water he'd swallowed with a curse. "What the hell?!?"
Morphine blinked at him. "Do I really weigh that much?"
"Hell yeah! What were you thinking?" He fumed. "And how are you here?"
"I caught a ride," she stated cooly, changing position to float on her back on the water.
"Jerk," he muttered, and she splashed water at him teasingly.
"Let's just get back to base. We're already late," she said innocently, implying it was his fault.
Des sighed.

Alice was freaking out.
Somebody KNEW. That note gave her the creeps.
It just COULDN'T have been Maryse who wrote it.

She stumbled to her dorm. As she lay in her bed, she saw another note. It read:
"Two can keep a secret, if one of them is dead. But too bad. Three can."

Oh. My. God. Alice thought, terrified.
Worse, next to that note, was a little stone carving of a....
Grave. With words.
'Lock it in your pocket, and take it to the grave.'

"Nearest cemetery." Alice snapped at the taxi driver.

It was a cold, rainy day. But Alice had to do SOMETHING.
Her secret wasn't safe, unless she did something.
The note said to 'take it to a grave'. So, it MUST be in a cemetery.

After a silent drizzly ride, Alice threw a ten dollar bill in the front seat, and raced out. She was clueless now.
Where to start looking? But, first, she put up her umbrella.

Out of nowhere, Jade appeared behind Alice.
"Hey." Jade said.
"Oh! Hi Jade. What are you doing here? Leather on a rainy day?" Alice commented on Jade's leather jacket, but was very curious why she was here.

"I saw you leave. On this day. Kinda scary... So I'm your company!" Jade answered.
"Leather is epic on rainy days." she also simply said.

Annabell stared at the rain sloshing on the window panes while mindlessly drumming on the cafeteria table with her pencil.
Her phone was in her pocket, and she was waiting for someone to call. She let out a small sigh.
I'm an idiot. It wasn't going to happen anyway. Why must I get my hopes up?, Annabell thought dreaily.
"What's 7x8? I stink at my 7's." Leon groaned from beside her.
Annabell had gotten math homework from one of her teachers for "pratice" and it was basically ten sheets of pure horror.
So she'd decided to spread the joy and made Leon help her with half of it. (He was good at Math, but just got easily distracted. Half of the paper was already covered in doodles.)
"Uhh, 7, 14, 21, 28.... 56?" Annabell answered, mentally doing the math.
"Thanks." Leon replied, and went back to lazily doing the math.
Annabell couldn't help but still wonder why he'd left the dance so early. She'd questioned him about it, but the cold way he'd told her, "Nothing i'm caring about anymore." had really made her not want to ask any questions.
Either way, why did rainy days always seem to be so depressing?

Summer picked up her umbrella and started to walk to the cafeteria. The weather was a bit chilly, so she bundled up in her sweater and ran inside. Se shook the raindrops off of her umbrella, got some food, and sat down at a random table. Summer sighed. Two days ago was her birthday. How could she have forgotten? She toyed with the vial of eternal fire around her neck, from her last birthday when she had gotten Chroma...Er, Iris. Speaking of Iris, Summer hadn't seen her since the dance. Had something gone wrong with her date? It wasn't normal for Iris to be reclusive like this. Summer decided to text Iris, since she had her phone with her at all times. "Iris, you alright? ☹️" Summer texted and then waited. "Answer the phone RIGHT NOW." she wrote five minutes later. Five more minutes, and Summer was really worried now.

Water trickled down her cheeks. It was... Almost like she was crying. But she was sitting in the rain. It soaked through her thin cotton strappy top and made it all clingy to her skin. Her drenched hair flopped down depressingly. Goosebumps covered her bare arms and legs. She shivered and clenched the end of her skirt, and didn't notice when it ripped slightly. She breathed out slowly and shakily, observing the air drift upwards into the sky.

"I'll be right back.... keep working Leon, ya homework monkey, and maybe i'll get you some banana bread." Annabell grinned.
"Ya right." Leon rolled his eyes, grinning, "Besides, I only work for tamales. So you better pay up." he faked threatened her.
Annabell rolled her eyes, promised to pick him up some food, and walked over to where Summer was.
"Hey, Summer, have you seen Catcher around? I've hadn't seen him since the dance...." Annabell asked Summer.

Ren was packing his stuff. He was sick of this place. It was about time he ditched. Looking out the window, he sighed. She'd be alright. She always would be. Or she'd have him to answer to.
Not that he was much of a threat.
Anyway, he didn't think he could stand the bullies here much longer. Ever since they'd found out how -normal- he was, he'd been a target. He could only last so long before he'd SNAP.
And that would probably kill him.
At least that prevented him from picking any fights.
