Ashley put the medapod in a tree but then it fell out and hit her head and fell on the ground a vary bright lite sarounded it agin and then it evolved into a butterfree and flew to cithers sholder "NOW do you want it?"she said with a smile

@hay7199 But you said that you have to start off in Kanto, therefore, your starting pokemon is Given by Oak, who has Charmander, Squirtle and, Bulbasaur.
