Yes, it is a controersial topic, but I think each day, the level of immrotality should be raised by one level.Say today, immortality is level 2000 but tomorrow, it will be 2001, and so on.It should be quite easy because you can easily earn 3 stat points a day, right? So this is to keep people in check.Suggestions about this suggestion?@GLaDOS@whitefall@dreamer@maximum_ride_forever@peppermintcowboyHonest opinions please, but no flaming đ
crunchyoreo25 • 20 December 2011 at 12:44 AM
@_icarlyrocks_55So you're saying that if my pet is level 2001 today and no one clicks/feeds my pet, the next day it won't be immortal? đą
Deleted • 20 December 2011 at 12:45 AM
@crunchyoreo25Well, yes. So then it evens the ratio out, ya know?
peppermintcowboy • 20 December 2011 at 12:46 AM
@_icarlyrocks_55WHAT...?! đą So a year after immortality was introduced (at level 2000), a pet would need to reach level 2365 to be immortal? That might be interesting for people with smaller coves.... but for people like me, with many large coves, it would be a nightmare. I have so many pets to feed. Delaying immortality is a terrifying thought.(I don't usually post on the forums... but hey, you pinged me. đ )

@peppermintcowboyHmm, now that you put it, it seems like a satanic idea, but I believe it keeps the ratio of rares and commons in balance...I see where you're coming from, but would you see my point? đ
crunchyoreo25 • 20 December 2011 at 12:48 AM
@_icarlyrocks_55Yeah. Well this is an interesting idea. xDI'd kinda rather have the levels boost once in a while. Like every few months, it raises by three to five hundred levels...
peppermintcowboy • 20 December 2011 at 12:49 AM
@_icarlyrocks_55 - I'm too busy trembling to see your point. đ Seriously, this is so evil. It's like something @whitefall would think of. đ
Deleted • 20 December 2011 at 12:50 AM
@peppermintcowboyLOL, but we'll see what'll happen XD@Ian@annapashmina@Zac@MeteoroidAny thoughts? ^^
pipkitten • 20 December 2011 at 12:52 AM
I honestly don't like this idea at all. There are users who have quit or gone on hiatus and left their level 2000 creatures in their coves as memories of them, or there are some who don't have room in their main coves for new creatures, so they send the level 2000's over to a rarely visited storage cove....Implementing this suggestion would mean that many creatures would die unnecessarily and it would be near impossible for anyone to get their new eggs to immortality without the help of Yarold's or something similar. I'm sure many people would just quit outright if it happened, due to there not being anymore permanent immortality.
marshmallow • 20 December 2011 at 12:59 AM
@pipkitten I TOTALLY AGREE. after many years the imortality level will be HUGE, and it will be quite impossible to have a quitted user's creatures immortal :/i understand you proposed this so more creatures would die and become more rare, but thats just stupid, no offense.
pipkitten • 20 December 2011 at 1:07 AM
@MarshmallowI'm glad you agree with me. In an amount of time, the immortality level could be something like 123658 and nobody would be able to keep anything alive anymore. Countless numbers of creatures would die, and then this place would be nothing more than a death pit full of wasted time and money.
cubexline • 20 December 2011 at 1:17 AM
@pipkitten: I agree with you, this idea is unfair. I would quit and some would others probably will too if this happened. I dont think Ian would do that to us.
pipkitten • 20 December 2011 at 1:26 AM
@CubexlineAs bad as I'd feel about it, I would probably quit as well. I don't have near enough time to do feedbacks on a regular basis, so my cove would die with or without me here. And I, like you, also believe that Ian wouldn't force such an unfair thing on his loyal followers. It would totally annihilate everything he's worked so hard on to get this site to where it is now.
peppermintcowboy • 20 December 2011 at 1:27 AM
@_icarlyrocks_55 - Gosh, people are being super harsh. There is nothing "stupid" here. You just floated out an idea, and people didn't agree. Jeez. :-/@pipkitten - The immortality level would be 123658 in no time? Yeah... in a few centuries. More than 300 years, actually. đ
pipkitten • 20 December 2011 at 1:35 AM
@PeppermintcowboyI just hit some random number keys and that's what I ended up with, but I feel it gets my point across. ^^; Eventually the number will be so high that it'll be pretty much impossible to achieve unless you have your creatures on Yarold's all the time.
peppermintcowboy • 20 December 2011 at 1:42 AM
@pipkitten - Don't get me wrong. I agree with you. Heck, even with Yarold's, it'd take ~forever~ to get all my pets (in my main and storages) to reach immortality. D: I just don't feel there's a need to be extra harsh to @_icarlyrocks_55's idea. Probably 'cause she's just always been so dang nice to me...(If this were someone else's idea, I'd probably be ruthless. đ )
evolutary • 20 December 2011 at 1:43 AM
Well, the level of a creature is calculated by the stat total divided by 3. But I think the immortality rate should stay the same. đ
dionaea • 20 December 2011 at 1:50 AM
I don't think it should be raised, it's hard enough to get your creatures immortal, I've seen suggestions to lower the requirements. Also, about the rarity, people seem to forget that a lot of the rares at some point get stuck in inactive/abandoned coves, which effectively takes them out of circulation even if they're immortal.
pipkitten • 20 December 2011 at 1:51 AM
@PeppermintcowboyI didn't mean to be harsh... I just tend to state my opinions rather...bluntly?My apologies to anyone who may be offended~ ^^;
crescentfeather • 20 December 2011 at 1:53 AM
I disagree âšī¸ For the quitting users' sake. There are so many of them out there, you know. I can't imagine how horrible it would be to decide to return and find that all your dearest creatures had died. But, @_icarlyrocks_55, I do see your point... although it would be better to tweak this idea a bit.
whitefall • 20 December 2011 at 9:37 AM
Always increasing immortality. Well, it sure would add some interesting aspects to the immortality piece, but it seems to complicated and probably hard for Ian to make. A set number is good because then you know what level the eggs must be to be immortal. A changing number just seems hard to catch up to, and some people might not be aware of the number for that day, and it would be confusing.Like @peppermintcowboy said before, it would also be terrifying for users with large coves. Level 2000 is enough I think. If eggs got their immortality and it got taken away, that would be a bit frustrating. Btw, something I would think of? I'm not that evil. đ >8DAnd I also agree what @pipkitten said. After a few years, newbies will have to raise their eggs to Level 100000 and that's not the easiest job, it would take quite a while. Even most oldies don't have a Level 100000 creature. Well, those were the cons. Some pros~- Active users will have something to do- Even out the populationEven so, people might not buy as many eggs because it's too hard to raise, and then Ian's income would plummet downwardddd. In conclusion, this idea is a good idea. However, there it could drop the EggCave income for Ian, make it difficult to raise eggs and so.MY ESSAY đBehold the power of Whitefall.

Immortal creatures are concidered mature, so losing it would make them kids again =^PI'm sorry to say this, but I would probably quit if this happened...
Deleted • 21 December 2011 at 12:36 PM
Really? :/ Just proposing this idea to keep the balance of rares in check... Nothing to make people feel uncomfortable or to quit.
jazzyleia • 21 December 2011 at 12:48 PM
I really don't like this idea. It's taking me a really long time to get the pets to level 2000 (because I don't have forever) So I just think we should keep it at the level it is at.Good suggestion though!

Thanks đI just find eggcave slow right now, so I need something or a mission to take up just a few minutes at a time...
rainbowen • 21 December 2011 at 1:02 PM
Wow, people got a bit intense in their reactions to an /idea/. At least you're suggesting things, @_icarlyrocks_55! Rares are starting to lose their value, and I think something should be done about it. While this may necessarily not be the best idea, it's good that you're contributing! đ
Deleted • 21 December 2011 at 1:03 PM
@_icarlyrocks_55This idea is okay..... it already takes people long enough to immortal, and raising it everyday would make it worse:/
Deleted • 21 December 2011 at 1:27 PM
@chloekinsIt's only three stat points everyday đ
Deleted • 21 December 2011 at 1:28 PM
@_icarlyrocks_55I know, but you have to immortal everyday unless its like your eggs đ Level 14,000 and such XD
Deleted • 21 December 2011 at 1:31 PM
@_icarlyrocks_55 how about that only happeans to the already immortal ones, but randomly? because i barely ever get some of my creatures to level.
