Willowstar led her rather large patrol through the trees until she met the MistClan border.

"Opalpaw and Lilyshade, please reset the borders." She sounded troubled. "FireClan's scent markers are so faint....they haven't been reset since two days ago. Something could be wrong."

Stormyfang sighed. It was no use arguing. "Okay, Fire, but keep yourself safe" She rested her tail lightly on his shoulder for only a heartbeat and started to walk away, back to clan territory.

"Fire? You mean he's not in the camp?" Willowstar was bewildered. When Lilyshade and Opalpaw came back, she ordered them to continue with the rest of the patrol. "Rosesong, stay here. What happened to Yelloweyes?"

Willowstar is led into camp, troubled. "But that doesn't explain the 'Have you seen Fire' part," she murmured to Rosesong. "We should offer our assistance and convince Fire to select a new deputy."

Stormyfang swalled. "Earlier today, Fire found out that Yelloweyes was having kits", -she paused breifly, letting her words sink in-"and then, he-he ran away. He was angry. Very angry. He refused to come back. Finally, I-I convinced him to co-come back. Then-then he head a dog and-and said.....", Stormyfang was choking out the words now, trying to stop the heavy pour of emotion coming over her.
"He said that he would get revenge on the dogs"
