Plus, if Tines were re-released, I'd have to undo a trade between me and smilies.

I really would prefer not to have that hassle again 😋

Look at the rarity of the Christmas creatures. Dropped about 20. Or 10.

I hate when people talk about 'value'. Egg Cave has nothing to do with value. It's about having fun adopting eggs that you like. It doesen't matter if the egg is common or so called "junk egg". If you like the egg and proud of it, be happy about it. I really hope Egg Cave doesen't turn into another neopets where newbies/younger users/anybody has no chance of getting a rare item/pet. 😊

@foo I would like people to only have Tines if they worked very hard for them. It would make getting a Tine seem more like an achievement, make Tines more special.

Yes but all those "lies" sure do look great in your cove 😉 I have seen actual lies from players a lot more on here and worse.
The site is still free.
You don't have to trade nor buy anything. It is all up to you *shrugs*

It was Christmas and a present for us at Egg Cave. People were blinded by value to see this. It was a kind and selfless gesture.

I enjoy the site and is what is important.

We shall agree to disagree and move on.

@foo Yes and no, Yes, because I love tines and I could use some more. 😋 If people dont like it, then they need to not get one. and no, because Im sick of hearing people complain, it ticks me off a lot. But If I had to chose, I say yes.

Edit: And I agree 100% with @harrypotter . I remember getting a doovoo from a mo, now you have to trade 1000000000CC to get something like that D:

Well I had that happen with my foos and I had no sympathy.
I also have tines I've achieved just like you,
But some people won't ever get their dream critter.
not because their not working hard enough but because eventually there won't be enough to go around.
they'll all have permanent or inactive homes.

2 options:

1) So be it. Sucks, but that's the way it goes.

2) Make it for users over one month old.

Harrypotter actually makes a good point: for a newbie, it's almost impossible to get a rare anything on neopets. We probably shouldn't do that here.

It's more like the sentimental value. :/

It's nice having a special creature. That's the fundamental principle driving rarity.

It makes Tine owners upset when other people get Tines and didn't work as hard for them.

It's like working your whole life for an iPad, for example, and then getting it, and being overjoyed. The next day, 7 million people get a free iPad. There are something billion people on Earth right now.

You would be upset, and so would the people who couldn't get one.

Yes and no. I love that they are so adorable. But the fact that there are so less that they are special. My special eggs are my tine and -MT4

I feel like my creatures are stock. I don't want to be buying into stock when the value only goes down. (I love my creatures, but I would like my rare eggs to stay rare.) I love rarity. I love rare eggs. It is so much fun when you finally get one of those ultra rare eggs. It's a thrill.

I think it was silly of Ian to re-release those eggs, if none of the eggs on Egg Cave had any rarity, it would be a darn boring site.

Even I didn't have the egg that was re-released, I would still vote against it. I love Egg Cave, don't get me wrong. But I play for rarity. It makes it fun.

No; I don't like the idea of re-releasing creatures. They lose value, and I feel like it's stealing from those who traded a lot to earn one. I'm hoping Ian keeps his word when he decided not to re-release retired creatures.

I got my dream cove egg from this re-realese : A FOO^^

That I didn't got on cave, but because @clepsidra my friend gave it to me for Christmas.

I don't care how he got to me, he is special, because I wanted him a long time, since I lost 2009 realease *my first time around*.

For me, rarity dosen't matter. So if the Tine came in the cove again I would say Congrats for all the people I new that want one. *I personaly don't, or a least not that mush to trade everything for one*

I understand people. You worked hard for a pet and know other lazy people will get one. Well newbies aren't lazy, they are new. Some user ar working very hard and still don't have any.

So yeah, for me, the Cave should have re-realease, to mess with rarity and even out users. And at the same time create plots and games to spice things up.
