Kris turned the entire truck and everyone in it invisible, she stood firm, but she looked like she was having a hard time thinking straight. "I... Have to... Think... Clearly..." She said, under a lot of stress.

She was not going to lie being invisable was weird. But it had helped her stop the truck with metal wheels. She turned around just in time to see a HUGE flame burn the all the trucks and Karn was going into a rage fit. She grinned wildly. It served him right.

Plants wrapped around the the mealting wheels to hold them in place. Time to go in the truck. Useing her momentum she barly made it back inside.

The girl making the truck invisible was muddering. Kyra reached and grab hold to let the mind alterrations affect her. What could be the harm? Humpty Dumpty was already broken in her mind.

Suddenly Kris shrieked in pain, her eyes flashed red, and everything turned visible again. She fell to the floor of the truck and started to scream and twist around, writhing in terrible pain. No one knew what was happening. The cook franticly sped up the truck...

Karn smiled as he said something to someone in the back of the truck he was in. Someone was doing this to Kris, but who was it?

Jo dreamed that someone was being killed by Karn. A girl's scream peirced the air. "Don't die..." Jo was saying in her dream.

Some Elementals that weren't busy gathered around Jo's unmoving body. Someone yelled to the others: "I think she's breathing!" While they watched her, her breathing sped up, but she was still unconscious. A dark haired boy pointed in surprise. "Look! Her fingers are on fire!" Everyone gasped. They hoped she would wake up, but minutes passed and she still lay on the hard floor. Someone picked her up and put her on a bench in the car. No one knew when her eyes would open.

"We have to take out that truck!" One of the elementals yelled. "She won't recover until we do!" "What about the fire lady?" Asked a small girl. "We can only hope she wakes up." answered a woman.

Kyra opened her eyes again and looked around. Her hold had been working then suddenly stopped. Then she saw Firefly unconscious and the invisible girl jerking in pain by an unknown sorce.

Her mind flasked back to finding her husband's headless body and her daughter's screams and son's yells. Trembling in rage, her mind slipped into the dark murderous side.

" You had better not die, Firefly or you either girl." She mutter to the two bodys.

Her eyes turned back to the truck with Karn.

Karn was laughing hysterically with his boots up on the dashboard and his arms crossed, this was probably the best day of his life, to him. Glowing red eyes could be seen in the back of the truck. There was no doubt that the cause of Kris's sudden pain was in that truck.

Kyra gritted her teeth as she saw Karn smile, it set her over the edge. Her eyes went white and the ground began to shake.
"Alright everyone! Something is in the truck. When it comes out focus your powers on it and KILL IT!" she screamed. Her voice seemed to carry over the whole area.
With a loud bang a giant Venus fly trap bit off the end. A fast red blur raced toward them. Kyra didn't notice she just saw Karn get out of the wreckage and smile. He was all she didn't want to see.

Karn, after climbing out of the wreckage, ran at the truck with great speed, and leapt on top, everyone looked up, frightened. Just then, the back doors of the truck swung open, and a man with glowing red eyes came bursting in. He wore the same outfit as Karn, only, he had black hair and, red eyes. "It's Brack!" Screamed one of the people. "Who's that?" Asked another. "He is another overseer from a different sector in the lab, I thought he would be coming." Said someone else.

"I'LL JUST BE TAKING THIS!" Brack said, in a loud demonic voice as he picked up Kris from the floor of the truck."

Kris stopped screaming and closed her eyes, as if going into a deep sleep.

Karn blasted in through the roof, he grabbed Jo's unmoving body
and jumped to Brack's side. "let's go, we'll worry about the rest of them later, these two are the ones responsible for the jailbreak, so those losers won't get anywhere without them." He said with a smile.

Kyra's mind processed both of the overseers. They were related to him. Karn had his eyes and Brack had his red hair and middle name. She let out a scream like a banshee. No, they weren't getting away on her watch, not when they knew about him.

She raced after them, grabbing a seed pod and threw it. Small tuffs went down Brack's throat. He begin to cough, dropping Firefly's body. Roses wrapped around her body.

Kyra saw Karn stop smiling, leading her to smile like the mad women she was. Brack growled and reached down into his throat to pull out a string of mushrooms. He tried to reach Firefly' body but got his hand bitten off by the roses.

"Careful, boys they're hungary just for you so I wouldn't make any more retrieving attempts or you might become dinner."

She took a step toward them. "Let's cut to the chase shall we? Where is Lin Kingsburo? I know you know where he is because he is your cousin. So I'm only going to ask one more time. WHERE IS HE!"

Whoops *goes back over earlier posts and reads twice* my sleepiness is getting to me. How about Brack still goes down but Karn drops Kris to help him. Jo is dropped to but kyra is to focused on Karn to notice Jo. Will that work?

Poor Jo, Kyra doesn't notice her. I kinda feel a little for Karn too. She really has it out for him. And instead of cousin I ment to write grandfather. XD

@moonlightfaerie Lol, sounds okay but, Karn is not the kind who would help Brack, plus as far as my backstory for them goes, he doesn't need to.

"Wait, wait, wait, what the he#@ are you talking about lady?" Karn answered looking surprised now. Brack retreated into a cloud of smoke, his glowing red eyes disappeared.
"Well whatever, madwoman, we'll talk about it later. right now, I must be going!" Karn said as he jumped with Brack and they both where gone. The rose that ate Brack's hand spit it back again, It was made of metal...

Umm...It's a tattic to throw off people on what they are?? For now let's just say Lin gave money to help someway with Karn and Brack and Lin calles himself the grandfather of the people he helps even when the person or metal object doesn't know made a money contribution to the project. That is the way Karn would react I don't mind.

Then Kyra snapped back into sanity. The roses uncovered Firefly's body and nugged it toward her. She picked up the hand and threw it off the cliff. No sense keeping it when it might come back alive. Regret flooded her for not saving the invisible girl too. But the mushrooms could do more than choke a person. Kyra picked firefly up and walked back to the stopped truck full of other elementals. Looking at the cook and to everyone she said "We all need to make it it the next town, Livinston. I've got a place there. You need to decide what to do next and see if we can get Firefly here to wake up."

Bright fire flickered from Jo's arm, burning Kyra's hand. All of the sudden, Jo gasped for air and starte coughing, then stood up quickly. "She's back!" a little girl yelled. "I was gone?" Jo asked, confused. "Oh, and sorry about burning you." she told Kyra, who was cradling her arm. Jo looked around and immediately noticed something. "WHERE IS KRIS?" she yelled. "SOMEONE BETTER GIVE ME AN ANSWER!" Jo shoved a burning hand towards Kyra. "Whether or not you saved me, I don't know. But Kris has been my only close friend for as long as I've been here, which I think is around seventeen years. So you better open your mouth and start talking."

"Now, now, no need to get angry, you're quite all right, it's not like you're in prison or anything..." "So where am I then?" She asked again. "Well, I'm Mr. Bashi, and you are at the EPC (Elemental Population Control) headquarters, I believe that's all you need to know. You have already met two of our members, Karn and Brack. But I see that you dislike them very much, I know why. They have more power than you, they have more freedom than you, but what if, you had the same amount of power and freedom?" "What are you getting at?" Kris asked kind of annoyed. "You would have the same freedom, to walk outside, in the sunshine, and be like a real human, but all you have to do is join us, and watch over the Elementals who don't understand that freedom, can not be for everyone..."

@redstar-fireclan Yay! Well, right now all the Elementals from the lab have been crammed into a truck and are escaping, well not ALL of them, but most of them. And, my character is in a different place at this time, as she was pretty much kidnapped. Karn and Brack are two evil people trying to round up the Elementals and bring them back to the lab.

Kyra sighed and had a sad look on her face. "Unfortunanately I could not take on Karn and Brack at the same time. You and Jo were dropped but I was only able to get your body before Jo's was grabbed by Karn. And I am sorry I could not get to her."

She then smothered some lavender smelling lotion on her wound, then motioned for Jo to follow her to the garden. Kyra showed her the letter she had written Kris explaining what the mushroom seeds did and to think before she excepted any offers.

"Would you like to write something or give her anything?" At Jo's confused look she replied,"They have a outdoor green house where she is. I wanted to write it before I snapped back into insanity. We know where she is from the cook's information but it will take a at least two weeks before so we can recover and obtain the right materials. Besides you need to ask the cook some questions about who he is."

"Very well" Kris said after thinking a while. "I'll work for you." "Very good, I was hoping you'd say that." Mr. Boshi replied. "Come." He motioned for her to follow him. They went into a room filled with weapons, trench coats, and tons of ammunition. "This is probably the only thing that will make being an overseer worthwhile!" Kris said taking a trench coat of the rack. "Not exactly... Anyway, you'll need boots, black clothes and a mask to go with that." Mr. Boshi replied. "What? A mask? Why?" Kris asked. "You wouldn't want anyone to recognize you." He answered as he handed her one. She put it on. It only covered her eyes. "I suppose it's okay..."

Kyra shook her head at the news her plants gave her. She decided not to tell Jo what she had found out. The girl seemed to warm up to her a little bit, but not much. Her loopy smile returned. Krya decided she needed excitement in her life.
"Wanta, train firefly?"

Kyra stroked one of her teethy roses. "You have been her friend for most of your and her lives. She would like to hear from you, not me. I'm just giving her a gift."
