"Okay..." Jo sighed. "Tell her, uhm, that we are coming. And not to die. Or get hurt. And to fight back, and turn invisible, and to get rid of Karn and Brack, and I'm sorry because I would have saved her.." She shot a look at Kyra, "If I wasn't unconsious. And I'll get you out of there."

Kyra took out a pen and handed the note to Jo. "You can write it. I won't mind if you don't forgive me for that. There are somethings I won't forgive myself for." She waited as Jo scribbled her words on the paper.

She tied the paper on the sack with Jo's handwriting firsthand gave is to a rose. The rose disappeared to deliver the message to Kris.

Suddenly her attention was caught by wild violets growing out of the corner of her eye. "Spice girl would have loved those." Kyra said unaware she had spoken aloud.

Kris started her first day as an overseer. "So far, so good." She thought. "Considering no one has misbehaved yet. "And who would have thought I'd be doing the same thing I hate Karn for, actually, this isn't half bad..." She chuckled a bit, as she sipped her Coca-Cola in a swivel chair at her desk. Suddenly she heard a lot of noise out in the cell area. "You can't keep treating us like lab rats this way!" Someone yelled. "Someone will show you one day!" Said another. "On my first day... Shame." Kris said to herself. She stood up, setting her can of soda on the desk. Then she walked out the door. "What's this? Are you not happy with the way you're being treated?" Kris asked, sternly. "No! So you better start treating us better or else!" Replied a man, throwing his food down. "Or else what? I'll have you know the cook works very hard on that food, it's such a shame, you threw it on the floor." Kris said, pointing to the wasted food puddle. "You guard trash!" Yelled a man, spitting on the floor."
Kris wasn't amused. She walked over, opened the cell, and punched him in the gut. "So sorry." She said, laying him on the floor. She walked back to her office. "Later." She said raising a hand.

"Well, is there anyway your, um, plants can see what Kris is doing or what the overseers are doing to her?" Jo asked Kyra. "And who's Spice Girl? Just wondering." She sat down on the ground. "How old are you, anyway?" Before Kyra could answer, Jo heard a scream that sounded not too far away.

"Come on!" She shouted to Kyra. They both sprinted to the truck. A little boy, probably about 8, had tripped over a large rock and fallen onto a spiky tree root, which had pierced him a little bit in the leg.

"Everything's going to be okay. I'm going to flameproof you. This won't hurt at all." She lay a hand on his hurt leg. "Now all I will do is set this branch on fire and it will burn away from your leg without burning you." The boy sniffed and said "Okay, but don't burn me!" "I won't." Jo promised. She set a tiny flame on the root, which burned away and fell into ashes. Kyra went to the truck and pulled out some bandages, then gently wrapped them around the boy's leg. "It should be okay for now. Just go to the cook and he will help you next." She said. Jo and Kyra walked backto the place they were before.

Kris sighed as she sat back down in her chair. She took a big swig of her Coca-Cola. Just then, Karn walked in. "Mr. Boshi said he wants you to go on a special mission, I didn't want you to come, but he insisted." He said. "Thrilling. What's the mission?" Kris answered, sarcastically. "We have to find the Elementals that escaped, but you are to be watched carefully, to ensure you don't have second thoughts about killing them..." Karn said back.

Kyra motioned for Jo to sit down on the grass beside her. "Before I was insain, I had a normal life. I went to school, dated, drove a car, I did went to college to study plants and I met my husband, Darian." A wishful look appeared on her face. "We got married, I was 22 and he was 23. After that I had a girl and named her, Paprika, like the spice. Two years after that I adopted a one year old boy with the power to create force fields. A year later it was our third anniversary. I got this dress ready to celebrate at home. Black vans were already at the house when I got there. I heard my daughter and son yell. I ruses in to find my husband's body and I was too late to save my children. My mind snapped and I killed all the people. So every time I can't save a child or teen I think of them. I hope they would have been bold like you or self-sacrificing like Kris". She sighed and reached down in the grass to check on Kris. "Come to think, this is the longest I've been sain since then.

"Oh. Sorry. You're older than I thought, though. I think I'm seventeen. But maybe eighteen, or sixteen, or nineteen. Those stupid guys never told any of us." Jo said.

Kra smiled a sad smile. "I'm 26. You can always look in your file if you want to know. To answer your other question I can use the plants to check on Kris" Her face twisted in to a snarl as Kyra jumped up in rage. Plant's thorns sharpened, trees looked evil and the roses hissed and showed rows of fangs."I'm going to him and dismember his body to feed to my roses and venus fly traps." She screamed. Turning to Kris she seemed to calm down. "Mr. Boshi is an elemental working for the government and is in charge of the sector you escaped from. He has mind control powers and is now sending Kris on a mission to find and kill us. We need to travel fast, so we can make it before she is sent to find us." A giant fly trap sprang out of the ground which Kyra jumped on. "Come on, Firefly. You can say what ever you want to me later. I need to have a little chat with Mr. Boshi."

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh she would NEVER do that! They must have messed up her brain! Or, or... made a clone of her! Or they are using mind control! And she's gonna kill us! I don't want to die! What if I do die?! That would suck! I can't die yet! She won't kill me! What are we gonna DO?!?!" Jo burst into flames without even noticing. She didn't even register Kyra's look of surprise. Jo just kept on going, babbling nervously about Kris and dying and powers and everything as she jumped into the truck and accidentally set the seat on fire. She quickly put it out and then sat quietly. Suddenly Jo shot up. "Drive to Livenston, wherever the heck that is!! NOW!" She shouted to the driver. "Hurry!"

Kyra urged the plant to go faster with the truck following behind. Her mind processing Kris's out burst. She then realized that Firefly loosing her friend would may her go insain just like she did. She looked at the car when it got even with her. "Firefly!" She called. "I'll create a distraction you need to keep Kris in her room to talk to her. If you have any trouble just touch the plants in her window." Jo just shook her head, but Kyra didn't know if it registered in Firefly's mind. Well with the building looming toward them she would know when they got inside.

Jo saw Kyra moving her lips. They said, "Firefly." "Call me Jo." Jo said, with no emotion. She turned around in her seat and looked out the back window. There was a freaking TIGER! "There's a TIGER behind us!!!!" She shouted. When she looked the second time there was a girl with streaky red hair. "TURN THIS THING AROUND! THERE'S ANOTHER ELEMENTAL RIGHT BEHIND US!" The truck screeched and swerved around. "We've got to get this girl in here!"

Jo shot two large flames in the air to tell the girl, who is now a wolf, to turn back into a human. "It's okay! Get in the truck! Someone is planning to kill all the Elementals! So hurry, and we'll discuss this later!"

I see two flames shot up in the air and I turn into a human and ran into the open car door and closed the door behind me.
" So what are we doing in here anyway? Wait, were YOU the ones who were following me? " I asked with fury in my eyes.

Kyra saw the flame, shaking her head. "That's not the best way to tell her we are on her side, Jo!" Looking at the girl she said,"We were not following you intentually." Kyra looked at Jo. "You still want to go see her?"

Jo paused. "Uhm.. I turned around and you were behind us. So no, we weren't following you.. Anyway, you're here because some evil freakshows are trying to kill us, and we thought it would be nice to save you from dying. So if you don't want to be here, be my guest and leave. But you will get killed. Just FYI."

"I see." Kris answered. "Are we going then?" "Yes." Karn said after raiding her fridge. "Get your own Coca-Cola, don't drink all mine!" Kris said, getting up. They walked outside. "Come on, let's go." Karn said, starting off. "Yeah..." Kris walked behind, she looked up at the sun, but it was too bright and she looked down again, it made her think about Jo. "You coming or what?" Karn yelled back. "Yes." She said, catching up.

They reached the area where they lost the truck. Kris looked at the wreckage. "What happened here?" She wondered to herself.
"Come on! We'll never catch up to them if you stop at every little thing!" Karn yelled. "Okay, geez..." Kris said, dropping the metal hand she had just found.

Kyra begin to get angry. Kris had forgotten everything or so she was told by her plants, Karn and her were getting closer and Firefly was basically refusing to go see her friend she had known most of her life to save her. She growled at that thought. Did Jo not know that chance to be with her family was something Kyra would kill for? Well she had enough. She was breaking the mind hold on Kris no matter what. As she walked to meet them she failed to notice shapes following her.

" I am getting hungery, got anything in this smushed car? " I asked.

I hadn't eaten in 3 days so I wasn't GETTING HUNGERY, I was STARVING TO DEATH as you would call it.

"Well, we might have something.." Jo rummaged around in the back of the truck. "Here!" She pulled out some smushed McDonald's french fries that were left over from the day before. "These are squished, but it's really all we have. This and some water." She handed the new girl some water. "And could you watch it? We've been trying to survive here, and we didn't HAVE to save you, you know. And we're going to Livenston. There's a girl named Kyra who says that's a close town. But I don't know where it is."

Jo walked to the front of the truck. The cook was looking really tired. "Do you want me to drive? You can sleep in the back." He looked and her. "I guess, if you are good enough at driving." "I can try." Jo said, and got into the driver's seat. "I hope this works."

Kyra left big plants behind her so Jo and Tigress could follow her.(by leaving plant seeds in the truck she heard the conversation.) She knew Jo would see them as they were about the size of a 4 year old child. She was about to meet up with Karn and Kris, the others would get there about 8 minuets later so she had to make this count. She felt herself slip in to the state she was in when she tried to help Kris on the truck last time. Kyra jumped off the plant tackling Kris to the ground. Her roses, vines, and giant fly trap when after Karn. She tore off her mask and broke the lock on her memories of Jo. Now all she needed to do get Firefly here. Kris was on the ground, mind flooding with memories. Kyra turned back to Karn. "Let me make my question I asked last time more clear. Where is the creator of the program?"

ooc// I don't believe bringing back memories and breaking mind control was one of Kyra's powers, I already have something in mind for Kris, and btw, she is not mind controlled... -_-

Kris gasped as she was pushed to the ground. She thought Kyra was going to kill her. Karn jumped over the plants and lit a match, then set them on fire. "Run!" Karn said, punching Kyra off of Kris. "Got it." She said running towards the truck, she had a slight smile on her face. "I don't know why I have to keep telling you this, I'm not answering that question!" Karn replied to Kyra as he pulled a gun out of his trench coat.

Kyra ignored the pain and went toward her house. Darian would have dinner fixed and spice girl would be playing on the swings...everything went black.
