I'm sorry, but I disagree. Many people block because someone has genuinely offended them or is being nasty. But with the way booking is right now, say someone who has been purposely mean goes to your profile and feeds all the enggs you wants freezes for. And they keep doing this until they hatch. It's sabotage, all because the person was blocked but still has access to your public profile.

This is why I think complete blockage is a good idea.

If you wNt an opportunity to apologize or something to someone, then Egg Cave should have mediators. People you can go through to speak to the person who blocked you and explain or apologize if they will listen.

But while your post has valid points, I have a different opinion 😊

O.O Thank you for telling me. I did NOT know that.
And, I wasn't saying that all blocks are misunderstandings. Just that some are.
I think that @cheetah's idea was a good one - where you can choose which things are blocked from the person.

You were very lucky to get by with contacting them on another account. Due to the rules once your blocked your not allowed to attempt contact. It's in the Terms Of Service.

I personally would not like to see everything blocked. Had someone blocked and they PM me through another one of their accounts. Which is against the TOS.Due to me knowing fully well how they are I saw them say several things to their friend in regards to wanting to kill me and that I was stupid via wall comments. Yet in their PM to me they were being nice. When I pointed out these things as my reason for not wanting to carry on the convo in PM. They made claims I was a stalker and bully lol Not my fault they got caught. This is how they are and just one of many reasons why I blocked them long ago.


I learn from reading here on the Forums and walls. You be amazed at how people truly are especially on walls. Don't always block people who have personally done something to me either but have done something to another player.

I don't like this much... Also I don't think blocking the profile will prevent feeding, since you can always just log out and feed anyway, only then you won't know the culprit :/
