Wouldnt it be better if you could block ppl from your actual ACCOUNT, instead of just posting? So they can't see all ur personal messages and stuff?

Post Agree or disagree plz.

I agree
I blocked someone and I really don't want to see
them and I don't want them anywhere near me.

Yet I can go on her profile and visa versa.

I don't like blocking in general - I had a bad experience with it.

A user (naming no names) had posted something on my wall that confused me. I asked them to explain, and they did - but I still didn't get it. They explained a lot of times, but I still didn't understand.
Finally, I guess they thought I was being annoying, and blocked me.
I felt really horrible about being blocked. I wanted to explain what had really happened - that I wasn't trying to be annoying at all - but I couldn't, because I was blocked.
I went to their profile and noticed a link to their side. I followed it, and posted what I wanted to say on the wall.
The user forgave me, and unblocked me.

@goku
What I'm saying here is, if this happens, then the only way to get a message through would be in a forum thread, which you're not supposed to do.
Sometimes blocking happens through a misunderstanding, and this would make it harder to get it resolved.

I disagree because, say you have a creature UFT/UFA or the user wants to apologize if there was a scenario like that, or if you were holding a contest, or if they just wanted to read your status, there's nothing wrong with that, what if there was something like, OMG IAN SHOWED ME A NEW UPCOMING CREATURE: HERE IT IS! They wouldn't be able to see that on your status if this was to happen. Also, what's wrong with them feeding your eggs? Or maybe they want to look at your wall, if they were looking for new friends and find new users or something.

Anyways, good suggestion, but I don't agree.

If this ever does happen, it should only be an OPTION.
@cheetah's idea was good 😊

I agree. If you block someone it should be a complete block. To wear they can't see your profile or creatures or anything.

@armageddondoll
But what if you wanted to block them for something they didn't do? What if you blocked them because of a misunderstanding? What if the only way they knew to get to your side (where they weren't blocked), and explain what happened, was by checking your profile?

Read my first post. I know it's long, but please.

@Goku I think in the case of a site like this, it isn't really entirely necessary to stop people from viewing your page completely. I think that yes, it should be an option, but this isn't a social networking site where personal information gets posted up; most people don't even use their real names.

@cqpkytty I agree with you, but blocking is also sometimes very useful. πŸ˜‹

I'm not saying blocking shouldn't be allowed, just that people shouldn't be allowed to block someone *completely* from everything they do.

@goku Personally, I don't like the idea of blocking people from my profile. Keeping them from posting/pinging/pming/friending me is good enough. This may sound crazy but if I block someone and they still want to come to my profile its just free views for my creatures.
