At the cafeteria, Hale sat alone. He slowly, painstakingly forced down whatever food he'd ordered, without having the slightest clue what it was, and not really caring.
He down at his watch, then up at the clock. His watch had long been broken, and was frozen on 11:47.
He had Survival next, which would be a piece of cake. He'd like to see an obstacle he couldn't phase right through.

Ella glared at Charlie. "Just trying to be friendly, OOPS." She pushed her chair back and walked to lunch, rolling her eyes.

At lunch, the cafeteria was chaotic. Students were levitating their food, and with a flick of their wrists, it would fly in someone else's face. Ella grabbed a tray and got in line with the other kids.

Oliver munched on his turkey-caeser-lettuce-wrap. It was oozing onto his plate, multiple lettuce pieces falling off. He was clearly enjoying his food, as it was already half gone. Oliver looked back at the lunch line, and was glad he came slightly earlier. He started on his pudding cup, always vanilla for him.

Laura jumped at the sound of the voice next to her "Oh, hi Oliver!" she replied, with a cheerful tone hanging in her voice "How was class today? I've just been eating lunch all this time... Our class ended earlier than usual." Picking up her pencil once more, Laura continued to sketch on the placemat.

Madison knew how to be careful, she would keep a very close eye on the mind controller. "Oh, yeah! I totally understand, what a lucky power you have!" She commented and got her books to eat lunch. She was out the door as quick as possible.

Although nice, she was cautious. In absolutely everything she did.

When Ella was done getting her food, she had no choice but to sit next to a guy who was shoveling food in his mouth like it was his last meal. "Uh.. hey." She said self-consciously, after what happened with Charlie, she didn't want anyone else to be a jerk. Ella plopped into her seat and opened her chocolate milk.

Oliver smiled, "Hi Laura!" He ate another spoonful of pudding. "It was alright, the first one was hard. I forget what it's called. C&C was alright, but..." He leaned to whisper in Laura's ear, "One of the students made the teacher pass out!"
He turned to nod at the new and shy girl, "Hey." He shoved the last bit of his wrap down, and ate another dollop of pudding

Ella looked at the guy, who was talking to some other girl, who, she guessed, was Laura. She waved at Laura too. "Sup." Ella took a huge bite out of her sandwich and looked out of one of the nearby windows.

Madison picked some food, she had heard great things about the food. She got the packaged food instead of ordering, she didn't like what they were serving.

She ate quickly with her friends blabbing right in her ear. "So, Maddy, who is your new cru-shhhah?!" One of the girls asked her. "I don't have one," Madison replied, picking at some carrots with her fork. "NO WAY GIRL! There are so many cute ones here!" Another girl exclaimed. "Like William," one girl said dreamily. "Or Ben," another chimed in.

When the focus was off of Madison, she got her things and moved on to the next class. (OOC: I guess the next destination for all of us is Survival?) Survival, easy enough to guess what that is.

Oliver nodded, "Nothing much. I don't know what's going to happen in Survival, though. You?" He came to his cookies. 2 chocolate chip cookies, freshly baked and still warm. The center was gooey, the edges crunchy. He took a small bite, savouring every crumble of it. He closed his eyes and dreamed that he was in cookieland. A soft look came over his face, like he was in a big, comfy chair with everything at his fingertips instead of this hard, plastic chair and cold rooms with almost nothing in them and mean teachers to prod every imperfection that he had.

"Well, I'm guessing we.. survive?" Ella grinned. She finished off her sandwich and chugged down the rest of her milk. After that, she attempted laying back in her plastic chair, staring at the ceiling. A minute passed, and she looked at the boy again. "So.. what's your power?"

"Haha, smaart." He smiled, eating his cookies slowly. "I draw things and they come to life. Here, I'll show you." He traced an keychain car, and put his hand underneath it. A bright blue mini car made out of steel with a keychain on the end dropped down into his hand. He gave it to Ella, "You have it," he smiled. "It's nearly indestructible. You have a power?"

Carilla could see the girl's face. She still thought Carilla's power was mind control. She sighed. Her power? Lucky? Yeah, right. Even when she used it to do something nice for everybody, they didn't trust her.
No homework? That's great! But that girl manipulated the teacher to do so? She's evil! Let's stay away from her!

She sighed and got her lunch, then sat down at an empty table. The best way would be to lie about her power, and never use it...

"Woah... Awesome!" Ella stared at the keychain in her hand, and laughed. She clipped it to one of the zippers on her bookbag. "Of course I have a power. I control water." She held out her left hand, and a small stream of water slowy poured into the air. She made a fist, opened her hand back up, and the fountain had turned into ice. She dropped it on her tray.

Carilla glanced over at another table. They had powers - drawing and water. How nice. Whoopee for them. She sighed. Those were NORMAL powers. They had friends. They weren't feared by those who knew their powers. They - they weren't constantly squishing down a person, staying in that person's body, using it as their own...in a constant battle to keep away from disembodiment and death. Her eyes began to tear up.

Ella felt the hairs on the back of her neck prickling-someone was watching her. She swiveled around in her seat. There was a girl, watching her and crying. Ella tried to turn around, but she felt bad. She got up and went to the girl. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Charlie shrugged, not paying attention to the girl as he left. He wasn't a fan of people. Not HIS fault, but he'd always been a TAD antisocial...
Anyway, it was time for lunch.

Charlie sat outside, not eating. What was his next class....
He stared at the schedule, rereading the words written on the paper over and over.
"Helping the nurse, helping the nurses, helping the nurses...."
NO.
JUST NO.
This was his WOSRT NIGHTMARE.
Not ONLY was he stuck with a such useless power like HEALING, he was now a NURSE.
Worst.
Day.
Ever.

He laid in the grass for a while, deeply considering not getting up. Which he immdentily stopped after he was stepped on a few times.

Madison walked to her next class, Survival. She popped open bottle of tea that she had bought earlier and walked to her class.

Teachers had always loved Madison, she was a true talent, even if she didn't think so herself. Madison thought down upon herself a lot of the time; it was just her nature. Every time a person told her, "Madison, you are so gorgeous!" She just brushed it off and said, "Nah." But when a person complimented her on her powers, she accepted it. She didn't even think about it, it was just a reflex.

As she reached the Survival room she felt the negativity reverberating from the touch of the door handle. As she started to open the door it shocked her! She tried a second time, and again, a shock! She opted to wait for another person seeing as this was just the door and what may lie inside could be far worse.

"Well, sure, I guess..." As Carilla sat down with the girl and boy, she had an idea. "Look," she told the girl. "Don't be alarmed by what is about to happen. It's completely fine." She made sure she wouldn't collapse too noticeably, then entered the girl. Instead of staying there, she took the girl - who she found out was named Ella - back with her to herself. *This is me,* she thought to Ella. *Horrible, hitchhiking me.* She showed Ella her memories - and those of Nancy, her host.

Ella heard that whatever the girl was about to do, it would be fine. But once it happened, Ella froze with fear. The girl was sitting across the table, but she was inside Ella's mind. Images she didn't recognize flashed across her brain. Ella grabbed Oliver's arm. "Make her stop!" She screeched.

Carilla TOOK ELLA BACK WITH HER. Ella is in Carilla's mind, not the other way around. So, Ella can't control her body xP
And, Ella's body went limp.

*I wasn't sure what to do next...so I filled in for her. I used her body. I used it just fine - though always a bit guiltily - until a year ago. That was when Nancy came back. But...I've been pressing her down ever since. I mean, I wasn't sure what she would do when she found out I had...and I thought she might kick me out. You must understand, I still love her as a friend... but Nancy is the closest thing I've ever had to a home. I - I just don't want to leave...At this school, all the students and teachers have strong minds. If I left Nancy, or if she kicked me out, I would be without a body. Nobody would let me in. And then...exactly twenty-four hours after I left...I would die. I don't want to die, Ella! I know I'm just a parasite, using other's bodies for my purposes...but I don't want to die!*

Carilla returned Ella to her body. "The nurse can't help me. Nothing can help me. Medicine, healing...that's all for the body. Nothing can be done to help a mind without a body. And don't worry - I won't die anytime soon. See...I can't die. Not from sickness, not from old age, not from being run over by a car. If my host dies, I am just thrown out... The only way I can die is if I can't find a body... I die when I'm bodiless for a day. But there isn't anything that could let anyone know I died. No body. No sound. Nothing - except a disembodied mind simply disappearing. Nothing that anybody in the world could notice."

@balletninja - it's usually held outside, like different courses. 😊 (But it could be different NOW... But that's just how I picture it. XD)Okay, i'll help, I guess. XD

Charlie ditched "NURSING". Seriously, he wasn't going to do that. He'd rather get the crud beat out of him in Survival.
That's how he found himself in front of a coach, who was assigning the kids different courses.
"You go here, you go there, ect,ect."
Charlie was blocking him out intill he got to him.
"Twig! You can do... Course A." the coach motioned Charlie to a starting point of one of the courses.
"Hehe, TWIG." a few people chuckled in the backround.
Charlie rolled his eyes, and walked over to the starting point.
