@smilies She is watching Hale xD SHE DOESN'T KNOW YOUR NAME YET! I posted right after kytty did and I didn't notice. It still works though. Lol

It was Phasing, but it wasn't him. He didn't have to do the course. Madison did some figuring out and 1+1 meant the controlling girl must have been in him.

Madison had to hand it to the guy, it was nice of him to let someone merge with him. She knew she couldn't do it, it would feel too odd to her for her to ever feel comfortable with it.

Hale noticed a pretty girl with black wavy hair watching him. Pretty? He quickly looked away. She reminded him of someone he once knew.
The photo was still sitting in his locker. He was itching to leave and glanced up at the clock. Just five minutes til the end of the lesson.

Ella watched Hale do the course again. Wait-again? Ella took a second look and realized that it was the bodiless girl inside him. Having that power must stink.
Ella wondered where Oliver was. He hadn't even come to class yet, but his friend Laura was here. *He must be eating still.* Ella thought.

Madison got her things and prepared to leave survival. The day was over once the bell rang, she could go to her dorm and sleep or eat, or do anything really.

But she knew what she wanted to do that night, more than sit at home, eating ramen and talking to Matthew and June on the phone. She was going to go to the beach, at night time. The children often played night volley ball there, and it was hard to resist because the beach was all light up at that time of day. It would get her away from the difficult lifestyle she always lived, and get her back to place she lived in before everything went downhill.

The bell rang and Hale passed right through the crowd of students competing to get out the door first. As he left, he was careful to avoid the pretty girl.
He went straight through the walls, lockers and all until he found his. His calm green eyes looked into her intense blue ones and he stood frozen for he didn't know how long.
Then a thrase echoed unbidden inside his head, *Wishing won't make her come back.*
He spun around, half expecting the girl from earlier whom he'd helped with the course to appear, but it wasn't her.
He sighed and left for his dorm.

Madison left to get her items from her locker. Her mental check list ran through her mind. Did she need her Typing Up Villains Book? Nope. What about her Camouflage for Cities book? Nope.

She was ready to head back to her dorm room, to get on her beach attire and head down to the water. For such a gloomy morning, the sun had some out to a point where it lit up the world.

She made it to her room then unlocked her dorm. The smell of Grapefruit and lemon grass hit her nose. She turned on a soothing musical sound track, everything looked perfect. Her dorm was clean, the sun was shining through her many windows looking straight out to the ocean, and her favorite soundtrack was on repeat. She fell on her bed for a moment and savored it.

She tonight she might as well get going, as the sun would set soon enough and she didn't want to miss out on any volleying action.

Hale's room had light gray walls, with a sort of washed out look. He slipped off his shoes and sunk his feet into the fluffy white carpet, threw his bag onto his messy, unmade bed, then walked over to retrieve all the homework he'd collected. He had nothing else to do, so he set to work only to finish only half an hour later.
Sighing, he flipped open his laptop and watched the colorful orbs chase each other around on the screen while it started up.

Ella carefully opened the literally shocking classroom door and left for her dorm.
She opened her dorm door and sighed. The light blue walls with black deigns on them made the room feel more like hers. Ella sat down on her white loveseat and took out her iPod. Plugging in the earbuds, she made sure her music was working, and she got ready for tonight's volleyball game.

Madison slipped into a bathing suit and some shorts. She put her hair up and took some time to put on some waterproof mascara, just encase she decided to take a dip.

She wasn't really sure why she was going to the beach, she thought it was because she wanted to play volley ball but maybe consciously, she convinced herself into that while really, she has wanted something else to be at the beach the whole time.

She didn't have to go out of the box to figure that one out. She wanted to get away from the guilt, from her fears, she wanted friends, or something like that.

She put on some flip flops and made her way out of the building, she half hoped she saw someone from school earlier at the beach. As the sun closed in on the horizon, the fun was about to begin.

Ella put on her black swimsuit and some shorts, then pulled on some sandals. She loved volleyball, and of course water. The ocean couldn't be more fun when you had water powers.

She walked out of the building, towards the volleyball court. When she was walking, she saw another girl making her way over there, too. Ella hoped that everyone in the court was nice, unlike a lot of the students at school.

Hale checked his emails. Yes! A new message! He clicked it.

Sorry, Hale, honestly I'm looking. This place is huge and if the others have her, the chances are so slim... I'm really sorry... But maybe it's time for you to move on. I hope you'll forgive me...
The connection here's awful, even though my friend is doing her best job, and there's a lot for me to do here, so I don't know when we'll be able to chat again.
I haven't heard anything about HER; I'm starting to hope she's gone for good now!
We caught a couple of birds near the mountains, and you'd never guess who one of them was.
As for coming back, I sincerely doubt it. In a couple of years though, we might meet again.
Are you starting school now? Make any friends? I hope your not missing her too much. I miss you,

He sighed and reclined his chair. He shouldn't have got his hopes up. He wondered who it was she'd mentioned though. He'd never guess? Well then, no point trying. He didn't feel like replying at the moment, so he decided to get some rest.

As Madison reached the end of the side walk, and the start of the sand she grew extremely hesitant to go and play. She just stopped feeling the need to go have fun. Nonetheless she forced herself to move forward, and into the beachy atmosphere.

She kids were setting up the nets in the dim light of the sunset as the lanterns were slowly turned on.

Hopefully she wouldn't encounter any problems that night.

Laura finished the course, this time using shoes which would teleport her back to the line, should she fall off. Mrs Poffin applauded her performance, before the bell rung. Laura headed out, brushed against many other students, each with unique powers. As she headed out, she wondered where her brother was, but it didn't disturb her much. He was probably at another class.

Hale couldn't sleep however, so he shrugged on a warm jacket and went out for a late evening wandering around the school grounds.
The place was eerily empty and Hale wondered idly where everyone had gone. The weather was warm so most people should be outside. He didn't mind though, in fact he much preferred it this way. It was peaceful and gave him space to think.
Nevarda had wanted him to move on, but the concept was so painful he automatically shied away from the thought. He couldn't imagine life without his lifelong friend.
Yet here he was, living, without her.
Reality was painful.

Carilla stood up and left her dorm. She went outside to get some air. This was nice...not too chilly, but pleasantly brisk. She smiled and sped up, seeing Hale. "Hi!" she called out to him.

Pixle sighed, filling into her next class, her head was pounding and the pressure behind her eyes made it worse, taking her almost trademark spot, the furthest corner of the classroom, she listened boredly as the teacher began, ignoring the crumpled papers and pencils Star and her idiot friends would occasionally throw. Pixle was dizzy, she felt drained and weak, slowly, her eyelids became heavy and she let them close, passing out from the illness, only to wake up in the nurse's office a couple of hours later, she had an iv plunged into her arm, and Static was resting on her leg, only catching a few glimpses of where she was, Pixle ended up falling out of consciousness again

"Oh, you have a papercut? POOR THING. You know, I just saw someone come in here that was losing major blood from a Surival pratice gone wrong. Here. Take these freaking bandages, get over yourself, and stop wasting my time." Charlie said sacastically, and threw a handful of Power Puff Girl Band-Aids in the girl's face.
She gave him a rather dirty look, and fumed out the door.
Charlie rolled his eyes, and slumped onto the desk in front of him, burying his face in his arms.
"THIS IS TORTURE." he groaned out loud.
"Charles? Please stop driving away the patients by insulting them..." a nurse advised from behind him.
Charlie let out another groan, and muttered something illedgable under his breath.
'Not only am I a NURSE, I am a SECERTARY.' he complained to himself. 'I've hit an all time low.'
A feeling of complete doom washed over him.

As Madison reached the net, the kids setting up yelled something to one and another and ran away. She supposed it was to get the ball or something along those lines.

As she put her bag down, she felt a strong hand set down on her shoulder. "Whadda pretty lady like you doin at here at this time?" The guy turned her around to face him.

Immediately Madison recognized him, he was part of a gang of guys from the school. They weren't heroes, they were the bullies, or villains. From the looks of it, the rest of his gang was right behind him, ready to jump anyone they find. This time it was Madison.

"So why are ya here?" He demanded for her to answer. "I.. I was just going to play volleyball!" She shielded herself with her arm as her punched her, holding back, but nonetheless it hurt.

Pixle shivered, coming to again, Static purred and let out a loud yip
"shh..." she weakly hissed to the swirling floating ball of black squares and electricity, she coughed slightly, cringing, she knew exactly what it was before she could think right, Dehidration, but not like most, the magnet Star had snapped and taken, Pixle hadn't even touched a magnet in hours, she was going through withdraw, the first symptom was dehydration. With a dry cough, Pixle curled up slightly, shivering, and closing her eyes, listening to the surroundings and hoping she wouldn't almost die again. Static yipped a few more times and purred weakly, nestling up under her chin

Ella saw a bunch of guys crowded around a girl. She sprinted over, and realized they were punching her. "Get off her!!" Ella yelled, slamming her bookbag into one of the guy's face. She shot water at the other ones, and punched one in the nose. They yelled at Ella and ran off.

The guy took Madison by her hair and pulled her to to middle of the rest of his group. Madison's scalp stung, but she could take it, as long as she didn't resist too much.

"Hey, this girl is from our school ight?" Asked one of them. "Yeah, she is one of those popular girls," Said another. "I hate dem girls," then the boy addressed her, "Do you know what we do to your type?"

Madison exasperatedly spat out, "No!" Her lips quivered as the boy made her come in close enough to whisper in her ear. "We kill em."

Madison screamed as hard as she could, hoping others would come and help.

Edit: OOPS! Posted at the same time, I kinda wanted this to go on for a bit xD Gets others involved.

Ella rushed in, punching the boys in the face, breaking their noses. They tried to grab her, but Ella was too quick. She formed icicles and hit them with the pointy ends. "GET OUT!" Ella yelled. But they didn't. One pulled out a knife and thrust it at her. Ella dodged it, and shot water into the guy's face, distracting him. She took his knife and grabbed the girl who was screaming's hand. "Hurry!" She said, because the boys were closing in.
