"The sun is starting to go down," Charlotte complained. "I can't get much sunlight anymore, and I'm hungry."

A note slipped out one of the food thingies. Charlotte picked it up. "We're sorry for the inconvenience," she read aloud, "but we cannot provide sunlight when there is none. Apologies."
