My cousins let me sleep over for a few nights & one of them is obsessed with K-pop groups. They also have a dog. She was sleeping on the other bed, but fell off & couldn't get back on, so she settled for my face instead :'D
Now I'm starting to think I'm allergic to dogs afterall... Allergies all day. WHY?

I have a question. It is bugging me and I need an answer.

In real life, we don't capitalize species names.

E.G. The tiger prowled.

We capitalize breed names, however.

E. G The Dalmatian licked her face.

But on Egg Cave, these are species. So why do we capitalize them?

E.G. I really want an Odon.

I NEED TO KNOW. It is driving me crazy. So, any answer, appreciated. XP

Isn't anyone else annoyed by that one person who cannot seem to stop talking about themselves.

Doesn't matter if it's boasting or guilting, it's always about them.

And the worst kind of such people are the ones who can't seem to stop talking. They want to avert all attention to them so they begin bugging everyone, not only you but your friends too, so it's not a surprise to realize they've written on your friend's wall minutes into your conversation with said friend.

They do anything to gain attention, speak about everything and anything. They can turn a topic 180 degrees around by giving an example from their lives about that topic and then promptly change that topic so as to baost about their own selves or speak of their problems. And after they're done talking about themselves, they'd begin asking you if you're alright and all that. How they're willing to listen. They like to offer help the most, make themselves seem like they significantly give a heck about what's going on in your life. And after you consider them trustworthy enough to actually share a pint of your troules with them, surprise! They change the topic about themselves again. They brag about giving a substantial amount of support, but truth be told, they cannot go a minute without the spotlight being on them.

And afterwards when you absolutely refuse to share anything with them, mostly because you can't and don't want to, they wonder why you don't trust them.

Worst of all, they consider themselves the biggest martyrs. According to them, their life is the hardest, their parents are the worst, their friends are the fewest and they're being bullied the most. I am okay with consoling someone, I don't mind speaking with someone and advising them with their problems. But I will NOT tolerate being degraded, being told that I know nothing of their feelings and that I don't know what it is like when they don't know anything about my life and about who I am. I don't change the topic towards my own problems not because I don't have problems, but because I care enough to LISTEN!

Dear Such People,

I am genuinely sorry for not excitedly conversing with you or for ignoring you on a daily basis. I am sorry for acting dull and nonchalant towards you or not being able to put even a pint of emotion into a conversation that consists of YOU talking about YOURSELF. I simply dislike you.
