"What an ugly sneer," Eternal made a face. "No, because I respect her." She thought again. "Actually, I won't respect you if you fight a wolf after she's already worn out, while you're fresh. But I still won't fight. Because," she took a step. "I don't plan on surviving. Last chance, Cecily," she smiled. "Tell me why."

"Is it?" BrightStar asked. "I wanted to tear out Crimson Fang's throat when he destoryed my life, by kicking me out of my pack. I planned to hunt him down, and to kill him.I was even going to leave the Thunderfangs to get my revenge. I cared about nothing else...." BrightStar sighed. "Then,...I stumbled onto something greater than my need for revenge. Something that,.. changed me." BrightStar smilied as she thought about GrayFlood.
"Mabey, there still is something left? Mabey something that survived the fire, or is growing?" BrightStar asked Eternal.

High above on the rock, Cast watched with interest as a wolf cornered the leader of the thunderfangs against the edge of a cliff, and the rest of the pack gathered. Without C.T. the pack might be fairer, they might not have to be their enemy, maybe even ally. Who was this wolf? He squinted, trying to make out details. He thought he might recognize her, but from where, he didn't know.
