A lump rose in Adrasteia's throat- one of the few signs of emotion she would ever show. The brevity of the moment was impeccable. Her name was only in twice, two sheets of paper out of all the girls in District 5. There had to have been a mistake.

Adrasteia knew it was her name that had been called, crisp and clear, the harsh echoes reverberating like the ring of a deep, solemn gong. It wasn't her own emotions that got in the way as her feet lifted themselves up and walked forward, dreading each step as they moved along. Her mind called out against every movement, begging and pleading like one with no more to lose, to turn back, to fight, to run, but her body knew better.

"No, no! Adrasteia!"

Leon shouted, his frantic attempts held back by armed Peacekeepers. He clawed frantically at the air like a hawk at its prey, tears staining his cheeks. Mother was gone, Father was gone. And soon I would be gone as well.

"I volunteer, I'll volunteer!"

Leon called, but he was too old. A man of 19, just too old to vouch for me. His panicked cries hurt me more then my own name being called. I faced Effie with a serious look, giving her a curt nod.

------DISTRICT 8 REAPING----
Effie excitedly rushed off the train again into the streets of district 8 which smelt like new clothes and fabric,Effie always liked district eight,one of her favorites."Good afternoon District eight!I hope you all are having a blast with our hunger games this year!"Effie talked on to the silent crowd,"Well then let's get to the drawing shall we?"Effie asked as she pulled out a random sheet of paper."And our district tribute will be Sisal Prout!"Effie sang,"Good job my darling!"Effie cooed.

Shine strutted her away through the train eyeing the competition nervously,"So your Pixel?"Shine said ignorantly eyeing the girl with a smug frown on her face,"Well good luck."And with that Shine moved on to the next cart to flirt with the new tributes.

Puck turned back to Pixel,"They...just don't know better."Puck mumbled quite out of breath.Puck noticed a new girl step onto the train quite upset.'She looks exactly like Celeste.'Puck thought thinking of his little sister which haunted him.

Adrasteia put on a brave face and waltzed onto the train. She sat in an empty seat in the back, the weathered fabric covering as lonely as empty as she was now. The rich mahogany textile itched at her bare neck as Adrasteia leaned against the seat. Tears threatened to fall, plummeting into the dark, deep abyss of her soul and the stained floor of the train, but she blinked them back.

Bella shifted uncomfertabley in the towns small plaza,seeing a train pull up to the station and Bella's heart began to pund as she bit her dark pink lips,brushing stray hair out of her face,as Effie made her way onstage.

Rein sat down in the same cart as Adrasteia, her shoulders pushed back and head high,looking to the other girl with a mean burning scowl.

A dark haired girl sat in the same cart as Adrasteia, her chin held high as if to puncture the tense air. She had a small figure, yet held her position as if she were to be worshiped. Adrasteia attempted not to build an immediate dislike to the black, narrowing eyes that were trained on her.

Effie walked out of the train,the air smelt amazing full of rain.
"Good Afternoon District 9 and welcome to the Hunger games quarter quell,which I hope very one is enjoying!"Effie said in her high voice.The crowd applaud politely."Oh decisions,decisions!Well,...let's start with the girls."Effie said as she shuffled over to the right of the stage."Let's see who our District 9 sweetheart will be,and may the odds ever be in your favor."Effie added the last part with a smile.Effie looked at the top of the pile swilring a hand around and then picked out a card untieing the light green string.Effie looked upa t the crowd,"Isabella Valenti!"Effie sang sweetly as she held up the paper.

Bella looked up from her spot next to her mother who stared bewildered as Bella silent,tears pouring out of her eyes,"Bella.."Bella's little brother tugged at Bella's dress and pointed up at the screen."I know Damian,I-I know,and I want you to be good for bro and ma ok?I l-love you so much ,I always will ok?"Bella quickly sobbed into her tiny brothers shirt."Bella your gon'a win and bring me home a gadget from the Capitol al'right Bella?"Damian said as he hugged his sister one final time."S-sure thing little bro,I will."Bella sniffed and then hugged her older silent brother who shared her matching eyes.Her brother quietly handed her a silver bracelets with her last name engraved.Bella nodded as she slipped it on and walked her way onstage her eyes flickering to her brother James and mother.Bella held her hand up with three fingers to her mouth and then to the crowd.

Effie gave a sympathetic smile to the very pretty girl,"Aww how sweet,let's give on last round of applase for our tribute Bella!"Effie said cheerfully."Now for our boy tribute he will be..."Effie said as she plunged her hand to the bottom of the boy reaping bowl."Are boy tribute will be James Valenti!Amazing two siblings in one drawing this is pure destiny folks!"Evoke said bewildered and excited.The audience gasped as the camera turned away from the girl onstage to her older speechless brother.

Daniel looked up at Effie,slightly wincing in pain,'this poor family,no,I will.'Daniel thought showing no emotion.Daniel put his hands in his Jean pockets and walked in front of James."I Volunteer as Tribute."Daniel said strongly,emotionless but with the slightest look of rage on his face.Daniel gave one last glare to James which seemed to soften as he turned away and walked on stage to Effie's left,staring out to the crowd.His eyes avoided any contact with his Grandfather,but he couldn't, he looked his direction his Grandfather's eyes wide with fear and red and Geary his eyebrows furrowed and mouth open slightly as his gaze trailed from his grandson to the long pendant necklace around his neck,His grandfather nodded approvingly.Daniel still failed to show any emotion. @mdede @pegasasu @Cody @inkstep @belle

Sisal sat by himself on the train. He'd barely spared a glance at the tributes from the other districts, and he'd never met the girl from his district, either. There was a window next to his seat, which showed a dismal view of some foreign district. Sisal would not have seen it, however; he sat with his head in his hands, hearing only his name being called by the pink woman and seeing only the stage which she stood on. He simply couldn't believe he had been called. It was a waking nightmare.

"Good job, my darling!" he'd been told as he trudged to the stage, his head fixed forward. Every set of eyes in the district bored into the back of his head--and those people all whispered, too, relieved it wasn't them or their friend or their child. He crossed his arms across his chest, hugging his arms as he scaled the steps to the stage. There was a weak applause. As he'd seen himself do before, he smiled a quavering smile, fighting tears. There wasn't a prayer he'd see any of them again . . .

And suddenly he was back on the train, still clutching his head, while another tribute was being called outside. He took a deep, shuddering breath, and looked up. There were several other tributes in the train car with him that he hadn't even noticed before. He spared them all a blank stare before dipping his head again, scrutinizing the seat in front of him.

Bella's silent was interrupted,by her small gasp of shock,her eyes widen as the cameras focused on James face who was equally shock,Bella's gaze of her brother was torn apart when a familiar figure stepped in front of him,Daniel K,his Grandfather was in charge of the town library,although she didn't talk to him often he was a pretty athletic and smart kid.@green
Bell and her family said their final goodbyes and the boarded the train,Bella found herself sitting in the last train cart which was empty,the cart next to her however held some other district members.@jamesftw @Cody @inkstep @pegasasu

------District 10 Reaping----
Effie wrinkled her nose in disgust,"out of all places to park a train they put it next to a manure field!"Effie scolded carefully trying not to get her heels dirty."Few,Welcome District 10 to the Hunger Games quarter Quell!"Effie said warmly."Now let's see who our boy tribute will be..."Effie said picking up gently the top cord of the pile to get this reaping done fast and not suffer anymore of the horrible stench."Our boy tribute will be Cody Griffin!"Congrats sweetie!"Effie cheered and cooed as The crowd applaud the teen.

Adrasteia pulled her knees to her chest tightly, deciding her personality and alias already. For now, she would be Addy, a poor thirteen year old girl who couldn't lift a sword. Perhaps a "cute" look would receive sympathy from the crowd, and, more importantly, sponsors.

She let waves of thick blonde hair fall in her face, as if the scenic route of the train were a grotesque shadow of the bloodshed to come.

Cody looked up from his muddy sneakers and up to Effie,his little sister's eyes began to water as Cody bent down to give her one last hug."Don't worry Jess,I'll be back soon enough!"Cody said very optimistically as he got up and walked over to Effie,Effie looked back at him with a way to bleached smile,then the Reaping was over and Cody was. Making his way onto the train ,Cody found a room with the girl tribute from district 5 and 9 along with the boy tribute from 9 and 8,Cody silently lode out window,saying silent goodbyes to the last time he would see his home.

Pixle nodded slightly and sighed as she looked back at Puck 'busy...there seem to be wires everywhere you look, no real clear skies....being the district of technology I guess that's expected..but still....' she sighed 'I can't believe out of everything we helped supply the capitol with...we still have to do this..' she sighed and looked back at him 'you got on when we stopped in 7...what's it like there?' she asked, her dull eyes glinted with interest as she watched him.

Daniel slowly followed Bella onto the train,he sat near her in the train cart but stayed silent staring out the window and fiddling with his pendant necklace.Daniel looked around the train cart noticing the newest tribute,Cody from district ten,along with a girl with dark blonde hair,probally 'Addy' as Effie called her.Along with a tall 17 year old and the girl from district 3.

Effie tiredly sighed as she came put of her dressing room wearinfpg a new silver outfit and then sluggishly walked out into district eleven which smelt strongly of Citrus fruit."My what a wonderful evening for today's reaping!"Effie chirped in her odd accent."Well,anyways let's see who are tribute will be,......Kennedy Shikashima is our lucky lad tribute and our lovely girl tribute will be Sound!What a lovely name my dear!"Effie said I to the microphone holding the two pieces of paper up to the camera."Thank you lady's and gentleman for your time,and happy Hunger Games!!"Effie cheered to the pitifully applauding crowd.

Daniel continued to look out the window admiring the landscape of district Eleven which had the scent of citrus fruit.Daniel felt a light tap on his shoulder and looked around to see Bella, her face a little bit stained from tears but it didn't ruin her image a bit,except from the slight redness in her eyes and everyone elses."Hmm?"Daniel asked as he turned around.

Adrasteia - District 5

Adrasteia quietly listened to the District 9 Tributes speaking to each other. The brunette girl was rather quiet, as if she may burst into tears as the words stumbled out of her mouth. Even the curls in her dark hair seemed to be rather melancholy, drooping with little life left in them.

The boy, Daniel, on the other hand, continually fingered at his pendant necklace, a startling green that matched his downcast eyes. The conversation between the two seemed tense and awkward, and Adrasteia was curious as to what happened during the Reaping. He was a... Volunteer? There was no such thing as that in District 5. Your name was called, and nobody stood up for you. Shadowy eyes drifted towards the darkness, ashamed of timid weakness, yet relieved it was not their name Effie had announced. Would Leon have really volunteered for her?

The thought startled her mind, disturbing her calm observations of the other tributes. The newest Tribute, District 10, stared longingly out the window, as if to say his own goodbyes to what he may never see again. . .
