Charlie dipped in and out of consiousness. He began to sway back and forth. The crackling of electricity became louder.

Pixle stopped at the opening of the cave, she stopped and backed up ever so slightly, she could make out Charlie's form, rather faintly, a large red pulsing passed infront of her, she backed up quickly, her eyes widened as it growled, looking over at her 'crud' she thought to herself, crouching in the shadows.

Charlie could feel a slight drop in temperature. Something growled. Charlie attempted to move his hands, but they were bound behind his back.
'Pixle?!?' he called out. Regretting that descions, he could sense the presence of something large, and terrifing.

Pixle backed up as a thick pulsing light shot at her, throwing her back into the wall 'thanks allot lime head' she muttered, rather jokingly, she cringed a bit as she got to her feet. snaking into the shadows, she snapped ant the light shot to her fingers, vanishing instantly 'now where' she thought to herself, diving behind a pile of barrels, there was a large hole in the wall, covered in bars, she jumped at the idea before sending out a massive spark, slapping the red dragon-like beast in the face with the attack, she bolted across the room and whooped loudly 'HEY!' she called out, standing in front of the cage, the creature ran towards her, jumping into the air at the last second, it's long tail slamming her against the bars of the cage

Charlie could hear a commotion. The blood rushed to his head again, creating a pounding sound. He hoped it was Pixle doing the pounding, not being pounded.

Pixle cringed as she got to her feet, rushing over to where Charlie was hanging, she quickly got him down, but as she backed up, the dragon slapped her aside again, Pixle slammed into the wall, sparks flew from where she hit, racing around the creature and cearing holes in it's wings, the dragon let out a roar, it's tail crackling with electricity, slapping it against the ground as billions of little sparks raced like snakes towards Charlie
'Leave him alone!' she snapped, running back to him and holding her arms out, the static vanishing as it came into contact with her.Pixle cringed a bit as she reflected the shockwave back at the beast, deciding to use her other trick, she ran towards one of the bars and magnetized it, creating a large electromagnet, she whistled again and the dragon just slapped her with it's tail, wich stuck to the bar

Charlie watched as the dragon helplessly swishes it head, as it stuck to the bars. 'Thanks Pixle. One of these days I'll actually save your life.' he joked, looking over at her. 'You're not hurt are you?' he inquired. Charlie rubbed his head, scenes of what just happened replayed in his mind. Charlie staggered foward, he wasn't used to stand up right yet.

Pixle grinned weakly, she shuddered a bit as she got back to her feet 'hey, you're alive, that's what I was aiming for' her voice cracked, it was raspy and cracking slightly, Pixle got to her feet and magnetized the other bars to me sure the beast would stay 'we're not out of here yet, we still need to find whatever chest Brenden was talking about' she muttered in between coughs

Charlie nodded. 'Where there any other rooms? I was blindfolded the whole time.' Turning to Pixle, he could she sparks in her eyes. Pixle continued coughing. 'Are you sure you're okay?'

Pixle nodded 'I..Im fine...' she said with another cough 'there were a few more rooms, but they all led to dead ends, Maybe it's in this room...' she muttered, looking back at the weak dragon and the crates around the rooms

Charlie noticed the crates sprawled around the room. 'Do you think its in one of those?' he inquired. Charlie grabbed the nearest crate and smashed it aginst the wall, nothing...

Pixle shrugged 'well it's worth a shot!' she said as she kicked open a few of the crates, some held nothing but others held grain and oats 'what is this crud for anyway' she muttered as she busted another crate

Charlie kicked open more crates, each holding grains. 'Maybe you missed something in one of the rooms, Pixle!' Charlie wondered what grain and oats would be doing in a dragon's lair.

'maybe..' she muttered, dropping to the floor as the dragon broke free and let out a massive screech. Pixle backed up 'Charlie hide!' she quipped as she threw a bolt at a collections of stellagtights, the rock crashing down to the beast under them

Charlie dove under a rock formation. Sparks rained fown, from every directiotn. Pixle sent bolts of electrcity at the dragon's face. It howled in pain. Charlie remembered water + electricity=death. He sent a stream of water at the dragons face.

Pixle wrapped a large electric beam around it's neck, it screached out as the scent of burning flesh filled the air, she cringed as the disgusting scent stung her nose, the dragon collapsing and quickly decaying.

Charlie watched as the dragon decayed, something fell from its neck and clattered to the ground. 'Pixle, I think Brenden meant chest as in the dragon's chest. Not a wooden one!' Charlie retched as the smell increased.

Charlie walked over to the dragon's ashes and pulled out another gem. As it touched his skin, an electric shock shot through his body. He dropped the crystal and it skittered across the ground. He glanced over at Pixle. 'That's funny I could pick up the first gem, but not this one. You couldn't touch the first one...'

'mn' Pixle muttered, scooping the stone into her hands, instantly the electricity was absorbed from her fingers and slowly circled around inside of the glassy stone 'welp, now what' she muttered, looking up at him and tucking the 'trophy' under her arm

"this way" Pixle muttered as she turned 'I can feel the outer world...watch this!' she grinned and made a large circle with her foot, the wall folded in on itself, the magnetic properties pushing away from eachother 'tadaaaaa' she joked as she stepped into the almost blinding light

Charlie watches, mouth agape as Pixle diappeared into the orb light. 'Pixle?!?' he called after her. He glanced around, then stepped into the orb, hoping it wouldn't short circut.

Was he supposed to follow her??

Pixle sighed as the blistering heat enveloped them, the hot sand stung tthe gashes allong her ankles and legs and arms as she stood with her back to the wind, the polished stone still rested safely under her arm.

Charlie arrived seconds after Pixle. Flashing a grin, Charlie spoke, 'Phase Three here we come! Do you still have the map?' he hoped they could follow it back to society.

@swimforlife it was pretty hectic, around lunchtime I went to a woman's house for a few hours, they had a fire and yada yada yada, basically while the house is being fogged, I have to take care of the chickens and pups (they breed dogs =P) Sooo yea, when I got home I went to install a basket in place of a child's seat on my messenger bike and cut my finger open >.< sooo yea and so here we are, lol, and on the other topic, yes, April IS comming fast >.>

Pixle reached into her pocket, but the map wasnt there, checking the other one, the small sheet of paper had slipped away 'eheheh no' she said flatly, looking up at Charlie 'that's not good...' she muttered, biting her lip

Charlie glanced at the horizon, a small black blip sat in the distance. 'I think that's where we came from, but there's no tire tracks to be sure.' The sun began to dip, lower in the sky. Whisps of blue, purple ans yellow filled the sky. Charlie smiled, 'I never saw a sunset like that on Earth...'

maybe' she muttered, watching the sky as the hughes and shades started to change, the sun streaking new colors across the blue canvas of sky. she sighed and looked over at Charlie, shrugging a bit 'it's really nice' she muttered, looking back at the sky as small whisps of clouds danced across the color changing sky

@inkstep yup! Bio test, brains A-sploded... voices... have to memorize Romeo/Juliet scene by thurs....you act right? any tips on memorization??

'C'mon Pixle, I don't want to know what other beasts live in this wasteland.' Charlie began to walk, the temperature droped slightly. Charlie looked back at Pixle and smiled. Fishing through his pocket, Charlie found the letter from earlier. The writting had canged. 'Look at this!' he said passing the paper to Pixle.

@swimforlife wow, that sucks! and I dont really act, I do stunt doubles at the most, but as for memorization, I find out that I memorize things better when Im in an enjoyable environment and am doing something with my hands, like if I have a line or something, I'll read one line and repeat it while doing something (programing a monster, freejumping, etc) because it makes it more fun and you reember better, but that's just me ^^

Pixle looked down at the paper as she walked along behind him, tilting her head a bit as her eyes adjusted 'that's defenately interesting' she mumbled as she flipped the paper over to make sure nothing else was on the back that they were missing
