@swimforlife alright then!

Glancing over at the vehicle, she looked back at Charlie, placing her hand on the ground, a soft pulse rippled through the ground, the vehicle bucked and slowed a bit "Alright go ahead" she muttered, grinning a bit, she thought back to the times throughout her childhood, stealing whatever she wanted up until she was adopted, she was then kept under such close watch, she felt she couldn't even sleep without someone monitoring her dreams. One memory remained though, she was runnign through the fields at night, headed towards the camp, but when she had gotten there and started rummaging through the survival supplies, a shot rang out, the bullet had torn through her jacket and grazed her side, if she hadn't run, she would have been dead. Thinking it over now, Pixle figured that at least one of the beings on the cart, had to have a weapon of the sorts. "Just be careful..." she muttered under her breath

@inkstep

Stealth was Charlie's strong suit, his clumsy feet usually gave him away. Upon the occasions that he and Pixle snuck through dragons' cave, he accuired the knowlege. Charlie pictured his self gracefully gliding through the water. He stepped lightly across the sand, arching his back to displace his weight. The vehical rumble up a dune and reduced speed. Keeping low to the ground, Charlie dashed toward the mountain of sand. He felt the sand shift beneath his toes, and readjusted his footing. He was not mere feet from the buggy. He closed his eyes and constituted a small ball of water. Locking on the driver, he lobbed the orb at the man's nose. The water caused him to sneeze and veer of course. The vechial jostled its passengers, giving Charlie oppurtunity to select his victim. A young man about his size would be perfect. The dazed looking driver attempted to settle his crew. By this time, Charlie had lept on to the roof of the vehical. His unseen hand grabbed the man's collar and flung him to the ground. The vehcial lumbered foward and the two rolled across the samd. Before the man could open his mouth to scream, Charlie fashioned a gag out of water. The man's mouth was bound shut. Quickly, Charlie held the man down and stripped him of his clothing. Charlie swapped outfits and left the man standing in his boxers.

Snickering a bit, Pixle crossed her arms as she watched, nodding a bit as he got the clothing he needed "Nice job" she muttered to herself, forming another flower out of the static in the air, but it fizzled quickly, she still needed to perfect things if she wanted to keep it 'alive'. Lifting her head from the flower, Pixle sighed, pulling her goggles back on and walking over to the craft, beginning to fix it again as she waited for Charlie to come back.

@inkstep

Charlie sprinted back, his feet sunk deep in the sand with each (ink)step. The clothing didn't fit perfectly, but he wasn't about to complain. Grabing at the extra fabric around his waist, he held up the pants as he ran. Pixle was tinkering with the vehical. He approached with a smile, 'Never thought I'd have have to hustle someone for a baggy pair of pants!'
-----
A pair of violet eyes watched scene unfold. The man with olive skin sat at a table, staring into a bowl of water. His slender fingers were clutched around the neck of a green and yellow hair doll. He tossed the toy onto the table, its arms flailed about. A hiss inturupted him, the towering shadow came into view. 'Hello,' he crooned looking at the demon. 'Get what we needed?' The beast flicked it ember like eyes. 'Give it here,' the man demanded, extending his hand. The shadow held a wisp of white hair in one hand and a wisp of blonde in the other. A melavolent cackle filled the candle-lit room. 'And they thought the were out of the woods?!?'

@swimforlife lolol >u<

Glancing up from the project, she grinned, snickering in the slightest. Pixle shook her head a bit and went back to working on the craft. "Well at leastt you got what you needed!" she replied, popping her hand into one of the latches, wires and sparks coiled up her arm, a soft jolt transferring from her arm, into the machine, the hum of the engine filled the air, but it was cut short by the cough and sputter of a failing attempt. "Shoot" she hissed under her breath, sighing a bit.

Deleted • 20 May 2012 at 1:10 PM

@inkstep =3

Pixle released a tiresome sigh as the engine choked. 'Hmmmm. Looks like what you need is a new spark plug!' he replied with a chuckle. 'You think this thing will ever be airborne again?' he asked, he face contorting into something more serious. The barren desert wasteland they had landed in was not condusive for fixing vehicals. The wind picked up tousling Pixle's hair. Sand blew in figure eights around thier ankles. 'The sand particles probably did the engine in,' Charlie states, eventhough he knew next to nothing about technology.
-------

The worn skin on the man's hands was an indicator of his age. It appeared that he was somewhere in his fortys, but the cloak of his appeance hid his true age. Patting the table, he fumbled for the doll. In his elderly state, his myopia left it difficult to achieve simple tasks. His fingers closed around doll sewn from white fabric. Two red beads created it eyes. He knotted the strand of hair aroound its neck and began chanting. He removed the tailmain from under the table and placed the doll on top of it. He repeated the ritual with the other doll. His violet eye began to glow like purple stars.

"No, it won't be....you're right though..." she kicked the side of the vehicle, plucking her hand from the pannel, sparks spiraled throuh the metal and disipated into the air. a shudder rran through her body, making her feel hollow, as though there weren't anything but skin and bones to make up her form "But we should probably start heading out...not like there is anything here that can help us..."
@swimforlife I have to go soon, but it'll only be for a few hours

Deleted • 20 May 2012 at 1:24 PM

@inkstep Awww. Have fun at the game 😊 Hpefully I can get my lab report done...

Nodding, Charlie agreed. Pixle shivered, eventhough the heat of the desert wrapped them in a blanket of warmth. 'You alright, Pixle?' he asked, a tinge of worry filling his question. Then he felt it too. A tingle deep in the pit of his stomach followed by a sensation of emptyness. He throat went dry as he choked on his words. 'I feel it too,' he said in a monotone voice. It seemed as if al the colors had been sucked out of his life.
----

A drum beat filled the violet-eyed man's room. A chorus of demonic voices set an evil ambiance. A thick purple smoke drifted in tendrils around the floor. A puple viper rose to the table. Flicking its tounge, it slithered around the vials and skulls. The man looked in the emerald eyes of the serpent and grinned. 'Its time!' He picked up the yellow/green doll and sid it across the table. Its arm dangled above the flame of the candle below. The pale doll was next. The man knotted at stone to the doll's chest and placed it in the basin of water.
---
A burning senation crawled up Charlie's arm. He skittered about, howling in pain.

Pixle's eyes widened a bit, a damp static escaped from the base of her arm as she lost her breath, with the pressure mainly on her chest, she tumbled to her knees and then onto her back, barely able to catch a breath, her eyes glinted as she looked over at charlie, frowning a bit, there was most definitely something wrong.
@swimforlife this is probably my last post until I get back ☹️ good luck on your report!

Deleted • 20 May 2012 at 1:35 PM

@inkstep Thank you and hope to see you soon 😊

The sensation of smoldering flesh caused Charlie to lose sight of reality. Pixle's mouth moved, but he could no longer comprehend her words. Glancing down, he saw nothing but flesh, no flames. The invisible tounges of fire licked as his arm and continued up his shoulder. He closed his eye for moment. When he opened them, he was lying on the ground. Rays of the sun beat down on his face, blinding him. Pain now raced down his back and into muscles. Blindly, he hand patted the sand in hopes of reaching Pixle, but she was too far away. He sucked a noisy gulp of air.
---
The green and yellow doll tumbled to the floor. Wax of the candle covered its limp body, turning some of the fabric stiff. The man cackled once more and the demonic voice rose. The drum beat became faster as bubbles formed around the pale doll. The snake slithered closer to his master and flicked its tounge in approval. 'Soon, Brenden, soon,' the man cooed to the serpent.

@swimforlife yay one or two mor o=posts!!!

Shivering, Pixle whimpered a bit, her hand digging into the ground as a smal static creature formed at her fingertips, using up most of her energy, she outhed 'go get help' and the creature took off, headed towards two things, the source of their suffering, and to the only living person truly related to pixle. Splitting into two, the miniature Skype took off in both directions. a blue and a green, one heading for the man while the other turned tail.
The girl was sitting on the base of a tree, her green eyes glinting a bit as her light brown hair shifted around in a small wind, she looked to be 15 or 16, and was rather nice looking for a girl in her situation. Glancing around at the jungle one more time, she sighed and got to her feet, heading back home.

Deleted • 20 May 2012 at 1:46 PM

@inkstep Yes! Yay for Pixle to get help!

The flesh on Charlie back and arms was now ashen. A few charred areas became numb. He was almost thankful for the black patches on the back of his hands. The searing now dipped into his legs, the worst of the pain was far from over. He legs kicked helplessly as the hands of fire encircled them. The heat of the invisible flame danced across Charlie's face. Emotions of rue and hate welled in Charlie's gut. He regretted chosing the desert as a safe-haven. He wondered of the Klaxion sun actually gave you 'sun burn' via invisible solar flames.

A static crackle reptured the rhythmic underworld orchestra. The voodoo man cursed under his breath and snapped his fingers. The demon shadows took off and began to seach the house for an intruder.

@swimforlife baaaaack and HOLY REPO you and jupiter pinged me like, 8 times XD my screen is so small it couldn't take it!

The small blue dragon hid in the dark shadows of the house, hissing and crackling a bit, the creature lept from it's hiding spot and wrapped around the man's neck, distracting him just long enough to snatch the dolls and zip off once more.
~*~
Flying low through the jungle, the green Skype rammed into the girl, wrapping it's tail around her arm and jerking her off towards the two.

Deleted • 22 May 2012 at 3:06 PM

@inkstep Sorry for the massive ping fest :I

A sputter in the form of spittle dangled from Charlie's lips. He stomach twisted in knots as he endured the imense pain. 'Pp-p-p--i-i--i-i-i' he stuttered, blinking the mailky sun rays away to see her. The brightness of the two suns blinded him momentarily. The sharp pain in his left side dulled to a scorching pain that wrapped around his ribcage. The nerves would have been fried, under normal, Earth conditions. The sand shifted beneath Charlie weight. He splayed his swollen fingers, to keep from sinking. The last time he had fallen through the sand, he ended up strung upside down.

@swimforlife lol it's fine, I laughed so hard XD

Panting and gasping again, Pixle let out a weak yelp, the pressure that centered at her chest was begining to feel like it was cracking her ribs.
Letting out a screech, the Skype kept the dolls in it's delicate grasp, flying quickly over to it's other half and merging once more, the creaure was once again a blue-green, cat sized dragon-like creature, the dolls in one tallon and a lock of the girl's hair in it's other.
"Just say where we're going!" she pleaded with the creature, being jerked along at it's rappid pace

@inkstep

A blur of greenish blue zipped down from the sky. Clutched in its talons was a very pale doll and a thin white thread. Pixle seemed to be attatched to it some how as she hovered above the sand. Squinting through the golden rays, Charlie could just make out her floating figure. Some how the doll was connected to Pixle. He recalled some sort of dark magic that could conjure dolls of those sorts. The name was on the tip of his tounge. 'Voo Doo' he choked out, his mouth parched. Concentrating, Chalie enveopled himself in a tight gauze of water. It instantly cooled his burns. Just as quickly it evaporated into the air. His dry tounge muttered a curse. A slithering senation crepy up his spine, sending a chill that he could feel clear throuch the scorched skin.

Landing softly, the skype set down the dolls and looked up at the girl, peeping and cawing, hopping around and over to Pixle, disolving the second he touched her.
"Oh dear..." she muttered, pulling bac kher light brown hair and picking up the dolls, she shrugged, un-tying the hair fro mtheir necks, releasing the spell "You sure got someone angry..."

The pain of the flame suddenly melted. Charlie lie in a heap, kneading his temples. His skin was raw and tender, large blisters and boils plastered his arms. Drawing a sharp breath, something tightened around his chest. It felt as like someone had tightened a lasso around his torso. With each breath, it seemed to constrcit more.The rope began to contract and move. Glancing down, Charlie realized it was no rope it all. A purple viper with bitting green eyes clung to his body. It flicked its tounge and hissed. 'Thought you were rid of me Bombay?' the seprent said, through cracked lips. 'On Klaxion, much is not how it seems.' Brenden slithered up Charlie's neck and whispered in his ear. 'The girl revived herself. So can I....' The beast let the words sink in.

Looking up from the dolls, the girl yelped a bit, pulling her knife from it's holster on her thigh and running over to Charlie, she grabbed the snake by the neck and jerked it pff, smashing it's head against a rock and throwing it into the lake while it was stunned. "Hey you alright?" she asked, smiling a bit crazily.
@swimforlife hi there!

Deleted • 23 May 2012 at 4:53 PM

@inkstep Hey, Ink! Have you been any paranormal investiagions with you new(ish) EVP yet?

A weak grin crept across Charlie's face as the purple serpent was flung into the lake. Pixle has a devilous smile perched on her lips. 'Burnt,' he replied, extending his arms for her to see. A particualry nasty looking blister has ruptured. 'What about you?', he asked. The sand blew around his ankles and stung his raw skin. 'We should get out of here. The sand may great for exfoliating, but its rubbing my skin raw!' he exclaimed, the hint of laughter tickling his voice. Running a hand through his sandy hair, Charlie sighed. Would this ever end?

@swimforlife lol, I use it all the time ^^ works a lot better than my last one, Oi, and it's Pixle's cousin (long story I wont go into atm)

"Sit down you crazy little [yeep]!" she giggled, pushing him down to his knees "I have to go revive that thing too!" With that, the girl turned on her heel and stepped over to Pixle.
"You look familiar..." she muttered, pressing two fingers to the albino's throat. Sucking in a breath, Pixle rolled onto her side, coughing and gasping. "Hehe..." the unknown girl giggled, pulling Pixle to her feet and looking back at Charlie "I'm Kassy by the way!" she said cheerfully

Deleted • 23 May 2012 at 5:06 PM

@inkstep Hehehehe sorry, I'm a little slow today XD

Charlie stared wide-eyed as girl breathed life back into Pixle. 'Nice to meet, Kassy' Charlie replied, a smile sown on his face. 'How did you find us, anyways? We're in the middle of nowhere.' Charlie pondered Kassy statement about recognizing Pixle. Maybe they had encountered eachother in Pixle's former life. His mind shuffled through logical reasoning, but he decided to wait for her to tell. Kassy helped Pixle to her feet. 'You alright?' he asked, now directing the question at the albino girl.

"Yea, I'm fine" she muttered, loooking up at Kassy and smiling "You got the call then? You must be.."
"Wait you're..." Kassy smiled, hugging bixle tightly Alright I get it now, you're that missin child, yer parents was on the run and they gave ya up...Awesome!" she pipped, looking back at Charlie "You guys need a place ta' stay?"

Deleted • 23 May 2012 at 5:49 PM

@inkstep Oh hey! Sorry about leaving so suddenly.

Charlie looked from Kassy to Pixle, then back to Kassy. 'You know each other?' he asked, slightly confused. 'Are you from Earth or Arretlion?' he asked, hoping to clear up her origin. Kassy offered a place for them to stay. Charlie hesitated, deception seemed to be more common around this planet. The look of sencerity in the girl's eyes relaxed him. 'Yes, Kassy, we do. As long as we're no imposing,' he added.

Short! I used all my energy for Repo, sorry

"Arretlion of course!" she snipped, using Pixle's head as an arm rest. "You aint imposin..." she smirked, looking donw at pixle "This short stub is the only living family I've got, her parents weren't exactly "good" folk...gave her up in their time of need, which resulted in their own deaths...such a shame really, they were against their own home, heh..." she ruffled pixle's hair a bit and turned back towards the woods "Come on then, it aint too far but it aint a hop skip and jump away!"

Deleted • 23 May 2012 at 6:11 PM

@inkstep I like Kassy and her dialect!

'We'll if your Pixle's family, your part of my family too,' Charlie announced. Pixle was the closet thing he had now, with his mother's death and father's unknow whereabouts. Kassy and Pixle seemed unbelieveably close eventhough the had been separated. 'What is Arretlion like?' he asked Kassy, 'I've nevee been there, at least not that I can remember.' He imagined that the planet was in a dire state. Being on the fringes of was probably scrapped the remianing resources. Fear and anger probably plagued the citizens; causing an even larger distopia. Charlie began to follow Kassy was she strode off.

@swimforlife hehe, I has devious plan

She shrugged "I said I was /from/ there, nev'a said I lived dere!" she kept walking, shrugging a bit and looking back at the two, grinning After a few moments, she led them up an over grown porch of a large white house, hidden in the jungle "C'mon in" she said cheerfully, keeping the door open
Pixle stepped in slowly, it was amazing inside, everything seemed so old fassioned, there were a few geares on the wall, a small calligraphic R carved into each one

Deleted • 25 May 2012 at 8:16 PM

@inkstep Sorry that this is so late.-Evil grin- devious plan XD

The large white painted house retained a positve auora. Home-iness radiated through each wall and gear. Everything seemed to be monogramed with the letter 'R'. Charlie assumed it stood for Reve, Pixle and presumably Kassy's last name. With a quickening pace, Charlie strode up the steps to the porch and into the house. The technology, or lack of, created a rustic, old-wolrld feeling. The sturdy wood pillars looked as if they were hand carved. Thoughs of Kassy chopping trees and lugging the massive timbers around brought a tiny grin to Charlie's worn face. His body craved sleep, each muscle choked from insomnia. Glancing over at Pixle, Charlie gave a dignified nod of approval. 'Lovley house, Kassy,' he complimented, 'Has it been in your family for a long time?' The polished wood panels creaked under his weight and clumsy footing. The warm scent if citrus filled his nostrils, creating the ultimate sensation of belonging.

@swimforlife haha it's fine ^^

"Not mine, the reve;s, my aunt and uncle left it to my papa, who in turn left it ta me, a piper" she replied, looking back at the two "Let me show you to your rooms!" she graed Charlie's hand and pulled him up the stairs. Pixle followed after the two, figuring she could look at the gears later. Kassi opened a door on her way up the steps, it had been placed on the landing and the room slightly slanted down. "Pixle this is your room" she said quickly, pulling Charlie with her up the stairs, down a hall, and stopped at a large room.
"So..this is your room!" she said, dragging him in with her and closing the door a bit, it was still slightly ajar. "Charlie...do you know how cute you are?" she smiled a bit, running a finger down his arm and enjoying the reaction she got from him.
"Hey kass!" Pixle yipped, running up the stairs, a large disc in her hand, she ran down the hall and swung the door open, stopping dead in her tracks.
Kassy had pulled Charlie to her lips, laying a deep kiss on him, right as Pixle had walked in. She didn't even seem to acknowledge her cousin's presence.
Pixle could only stand there, stunned, unable to think, unable to make herself move.

Deleted • 26 May 2012 at 9:00 AM

@inkstep Oh oh, you really are devoiusly evil XD
Gotta work until 3. See you around 4!

Kassy dragged Chalie upstairs, her footwork effortless and graceful. Clomping his was behind her, they arrived at a large room. Kassy excitedly pulled him in the sanctuary of the bedroom, gently shoving the door shut. It hung a crack open, allowing light from the hallway to spill in. 'Charlie...do you know how cute you are?' she cooed, Charlie stood awestuck. She ran a warm index finder up his arm, her face beamed in utmost pleasure. Before Charlie could stutter 'Stop!', Kassy lips found thier way to his. She kissed passionately, but Charlie refused to kiss back. The usual tingle of Pixle's kiss was not present. The ultimate euphoria of the experience had been tugged away and forgotten. Charlie choked for oxygen, but Kassy lips locked around his. The soft padding of Pixle's footsteps sent an immediate spark of adrenline through Charlie's body. She appeared in the doorway, clutching somesort of disk. 'Hey, Kass!' she piped, but frozen when she discovered the two. Her scarlet eyes turned into to burning bushes. The pools of red swarmed with anger. Extending his arm, CHarlie found the strenght to push Pixle's cousin away. 'Pixle,' he hissed, caught off guard, 'This isn't what it looks like!' A lengthy ripple of something Charlie could not identify ripped through Pixle's wispy frame.
