Sighing, she kept her arms around him as she spoke, her head still pressed into his shoulder "It can and i'm sure it will...but he can't help me next time, in a way, he /is/ me now...he used what energy he had to help me survive...I'm sorry I didn't just reveal myself back there...I couldn't, I could have been killed, or worse, and I didn't want to put you in any danger...if they knew it was me, they could pick out you." she wimpered a bit.@swimforlife

@inkstep'That doesn't matter now, you're here, alive, with me,' Charlie replied, the stark icyness began to recede from his heart. 'You did the right thing, but I believe I put is back in danger. My lies will be cracked wide open soon enough. Word on the street is a war is coming. What can we do?' He eyes darkened. There was still a life and death struggle. The hollow sound of a synthesizer echoed though the air. A chill ran up Charlie spine as the tinkling keys were stroked to a familiar melody. Heart pumping, he began to dance to the upbeat sound. Although he had never played an instrument, his fingers tickled the air in a mock concert. 'Do you hear that, Pixle? It so familiar...' he voice trailed off as he was caught up in the chord progression. He knees buckled as he feet kicked back and forth. His dance was not conventional, but the beat took his heart and pulled it along.
inkstep • 15 May 2012 at 6:23 PM
"hmm you're right..." she muttered, glancing back at her vehicle, she grinned a bit at his off keyed dance, she could hear it, yes, but it didn't sound familiar to her "Who would be playing music right now, and out here?" she muttered, snapping as the lights on the machine lit up, illuminating the dark area@swimforlife won't be on long, gotta go up to the school for my sis >.<

@inkstep That's fine. New rules, I'm only allowed to us my PC until I eat dinner... so I won't be on as much.... ☹️ UGGGGG Cruel world! The steady beams of light stopped Charlie in the middle of his off kilter dance. 'What the...' he asked, looking at the vehical. The paint and style was similar to that of the wreck hover craft. 'Did you patch up the hover craft?' he asked, in disbelief. The task would have been quite a burden, the wreckage was totaled. The drone of the syth continued to flutter through the air. 'Its so...happy!' he mumbled, continuing to play his air-keyboard.
inkstep • 15 May 2012 at 6:29 PM
@swimforlife D: augh that sucks!!!!!"Uh yea..." she smirked, flipping open the cockpit cover and stepping in, pulling on her goggles and going to work to fix the guide "Stop dancing around like a pansy!" she called jokingly to him, taking a few short breaths and grinning. "It's kinda stupid..."
Deleted • 15 May 2012 at 6:34 PM
@inkstep I know...'Pansy?!?' Charlie replied with a smirk. His mock anger came off as sarcasm. 'If I was a flower I think I'd be more of lily. Pansies are just...pansies,' Climbing over the door, Charlie hoisted himself into the passenger seat. 'Where to Captian Pickle?' he asked with a smirk. He knew the last comment would be refuted with a punch to the shoulder. He clenced his teeth, waiting for the fist's impact.DANG I AM BRAINSDEADED
inkstep • 15 May 2012 at 8:55 PM
@swimforlife lol it's fine ^^"Don't call me a pickle, those things are disgusting!" she flicked him in the ear with her good hand, she placed her other hand into a slot, along with her foot in a slot on the ground, light blue-green sparks coursed through the craft, the cockpit sliding shut and the craft lifting into the air "Well I would say off of this planet...but we have no clue where we are or if there is even anything out there.....so I guess we should find a shelter to take up at for the next few days?" Sighing a bit, a pulse rocketed from her core, causing her to jolt a bit, it wasn't her doing at all. "f*ck" she hissed under her breath, knowing it wouldn't stop her heart, but the fact that it happened wasn't exactly good.

@inkstepFlinching as Pixle flicked his ear, Charlie smiled sheepishly. 'Alright, alright!' he said, holding his hands up in the air. Pixle positioned herself to start the vehical. The craft danced in the air, inches above the ground. Charlie nodded as she suggested that the hide out on the planet for a few more days. 'Sounds like a plan,' he replied, rather plainly. Something jolted through Pixle's body. Charlie had no idea if it was the vehical or her own energy. 'You okay?' he asked, laying his hand on her shoulder. Muttering a curse under her breath, Pixle was pale-faced once more. Whatever had occured, the result was going to become a problem. 'Don't you dare leave me again!' he exclaimed, his hand finding its way to hers. He tightly gripped her slender, icy fingers.
inkstep • 16 May 2012 at 6:29 PM
@swimforlife XD I'm scaring myself senseless! heeeeeaaaalpShuddering, Pixle lowered her head "I'm fine!" she muttered, swaying a bit as she regained her posture, glancing up at him and biting her lip, glancing down at a softly glowing screen, random 0's and 1's flying across it's surface, the girl's eyes flew through the numbers, reading the number map like a child's book. the craft jolted, sending the two flying forward, Pixle stayed in her spot, hooked into the systemm, but her partner on the other hand...not so much. Giggling a bit, she looked down at him "Sorry!" she said quickly, sending the craft off softly, gliding over the tops of the trees "Any good ideas as to where to go?"

@inkstep'Outta here that's for sure!' Charlie exclaimed in response to her question. Eyes twinkling, Charlie's shoulders relaxed. Everything was back on track, or so he thought. The prophecy would hold true for the time being. Pixle effortlessly maneuvered the vehical, dipping under and over the trees. 'Back there,' he began, 'You heard the melody, right? It was so familiar. That whacked out dance was second nature. I wonder if its muscle memory...' he voice began to trail off. Smears of green rushed by as the trees quickly departed. The biome had changed to a desert-like scrub. 'Maybe we could hang around the water hole with the winged girraffes. It was peaceful there. No one bothered us...'
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 5:42 PM
"Yea, I heard it, but it didn't sound familiar to me...strange actually..." she sighed, watching the scenery rush by as she glanced down at the pattern, that had changed to nothing but 0's, Shrugging, the craft took off faster than it was already going, the world raced by until they were at the spot from before. "Here?" she asked, glancing up at him and back at the map "0000 W000000E00000000000000111000000 A000000 R0000001 E000001110100100101111010 W000 A000011 T00 C11101001 H00000 I0000 N0011010 G00111" "What in the..." the vehicle bucked and died "Hold on lime head" she muttered, fixing her oggles as she pulled her arm out of the slot, another burst of energy from the magnetic field caused the craft to slow a bit, it hit the ground hard, but not hard enough to kill them.@swimforlife EDITED XD

@inkstep Welp, hewwo dere! The jolt from the crash caused Charlie's head to snap back rather quickly. It force was no enough to break his neck, but just enough to strain it. His hand shot up and rubbed the tense spot. 'Ahhhh,' he breathed, as he messaged the tension. He turned his torso to look at Pixle. 'You okay? What happened back there?' What ever had happened was probably not an accident. Klaxion was alway on thier tails and breathing down thier necks. Charlie pondered for a moment. What had happened to the men he trapped in the watery orb? Had they gone back and ratted them out? It was unlikey, but plausible. 'Pixle,' Chalire began, 'I don't think this was an accident. Were on the brink of war; we're just pawns to initiate the battle.' A cloak of sand prevented Charlie to see anything in the distance. Each granual stungs his skin, it seemed hotter than usual. Maybe it was just the fact that it was acidic.
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 5:58 PM
@swimforlife hai!Cringing, Pixle's spine, arm, and leg all whined simultaneously as she pushed herself to her feet, swaying a bit before falling back on her tail bone. "I'm fine....and it wasn't an accident..." muttering underher breath, she lifted her hand a bit, a screen forming out of static in front of her, one of the newer things she had learned how to do. The screen was paused on the message "Who's watching?" she muttered under her breath, flicking her wrist, the screen vanishing into the air.
Deleted • 17 May 2012 at 6:10 PM
@inkstepPixle commanded the remainder of the static in the air into a square. To Charlie, it appeared to be some sort of static screen. His blue eyes widdedn, the irises nearly spilling into the whites if his eyes. 'How...' he began, but his breath caught in his chest. Pixle not only commanded electricty, but technology beyond Earth's years. 'Who's watching' flashed across the static. Waving her hand, Pixle caused the appiration to disappear into the dry air. 'How did you do that?' Charlie inquired, mouth agape. His mind shuffled through the words. He knew what the meant, but together, he was clueless. 'Can the TurntechGodHead explain to the derp what the words mean, I'm walking on unfamiliar ground,' stated Charlie.
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 6:18 PM
Giggling a bit, she shrugged "I'm nt sure, I guess what I can't do in math or physical activity, I make up for in this weird ability, that being one of the perks!" she laughed a bit again before going back to being serious. "I'm not sure what they mean, 'we are watching' is what popped up on the screen...but...who's watching...." Looking down at her hands, she messed around with the static, forming a flower for a few moments before it fixxled into the air "If you concentrate enough, there's a whole lot more to your tallent than you know..." she muttered, trying to keep his mind off of the problem.@swimforlife

@inkstepCharlie's eye darkened, Pixle's body language clearly read worry and frustration. He knit his brow. 'I don't think I can do much more. Orbs are about it. After that water slide/bridge, I was drained. That's when I passed out in the cave.' Not wanting to bring up the issue at hand, Charlie gingerly danced his conversation around other things. Even discussing thier powers was a minefield. Pixle wasn't the only once concerned, Charlie was dealing with a beast of a burnden too. Within a month, he went from run-of-the-mill high school kid to savior-of-an-alien-planet-trapped-in-a-twiste-game. He sighed, hoping to strike up a conversation about something postive. Rather unexpectedly he turned to Pixle and asked, 'What is your fondest memory? Do you like cheese?' he added, regreting the first question. Pixle had experienced a rather difficult childhood.
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 6:34 PM
"Hmm?" she laughed a bit "I guess..." she muttered, before tracing her mind, the smile slowly started to fade as she tried to recall something, anything really. Thinking again, she sighed "I'm not sure..." she muttered "I can't remember anything...Meeting you, I guess, is my favorite memory..." she smiled a bit "Well what about you?"@swimforlife

@inkstep Watching Marble Hornets...O.O'My fondest memory,' Charlie began, 'Was when you helped my cover my tattoo. We were both akward and shy, but look where it go us. Just imagine if I would have left it in the open, and my parents saw. Do you think they would have wisked me away right then and there?' He soon realized that he was walking on the ground he wanted to avoid. The pressure of his position crept up into his heart and created a black hole. 'Your name is really unique, were you named after the tiny shapes on a computer or a picture?'Sorry for the shortness, distracted by Marble Hornets and my mental prison
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 6:57 PM
@swimforlife lol! don't watch tribe twelve though, it's seriously a direct spinnoff, with the operator being the oserver, and the cough and patient 0 and all that >.("Hmm...who knows..." she looked up at him after his other question, tilting her head a bit "I'm not really sure, it's not spelled the same, but...I dunno, the woman who took care of the orphanage never gave me a name, but a few of the older kids did, but they never said why..." she shrugged, sighing and pulling her knees to her chest. "So do you know anything about your parents? Who they were, what they were doing?" she asked, glancing up at him
Deleted • 17 May 2012 at 7:05 PM
@inkstep I'll stay clear of that!'Well, I thought I knew my parents.' Charlie began, 'My father worked in international affairs, only now do I realize that it meant this,' he said, gesturing to the Klaxion atmosphere. 'My mom? I really don't know. She did something with computers, she was always at her office. I assumed it was accounting, but now I'm not so sure. And Piper? She's not even my sister. I guess I really only know about as much as my family as you yours.' Charlie still found the conversation circumscribing to the point in which he dare not go. He did his best to ask a question totally unrealated. 'So, you hate pickles too?'
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 7:09 PM
@swimforlife haha alright then!"Hmm..." she laughed a bit at his next question, nodding a bit "Hate 'em..." she looked up at the sky for a moment, sighing, trying to clear her clouded mind. "Hey you're all locked up..why?" she asked calmly
Deleted • 17 May 2012 at 7:44 PM
@inkstep Sorry I didn't get your ping...'There salty little slugs if you ask me,' Charlie replied in refrence to the pickles. 'Under lock and key? That's me,' Charlie breathed. 'I know you're going to say otherwise. But I've become a moster in my own eyes. I failed to save you and I kill for fun. Now I'm supposed to bring hope to an alien planet that I've never been to. My parents are dead and I really don't even know who they are. That what's on my mind. I know yours isn;t much better...'
inkstep • 17 May 2012 at 7:53 PM
@swimforlife it's fine ^^Sighing, Pixle looked up at him, shaking her head and moving in front of the boy "Charlie look at me" she snipped, placing her good hand on his. "You aren't a monster, alright, anyone would start having trouble in this situation, and killing is pretty fun, also, you couldn't save me anyway, so stop beating yourself up!" she smiled a bit, her eyes flickering for a moment or two "Neither of us knew our parents, we are both on the same mission here, you're not alone..." smiling still, it faded as she stood on her toes, planting a kiss on his mouth to reassure him.

@inkstep Hey there, Buddy!Pixle words resounded through his cluttered mind. Charlie's tension fizzled as Pixle kissed him. As she stepped back, he smiled, knowing that everything would be alright as long as she was there. 'Your right, Pixle. Its neither of our faults.' Charlie's heart had melted once more. After Pixle's death, Charlie's heart became stiff and ragged. Now that she was by his side, it sofened. Lime Head had returned again. The sun continued to beat down on thier backs, Charlie's jumpsuit did wonders to block the sun. Pixle had seemed to have ditched hers a while ago. 'What was it like in the afterlife?' Charlie inquired, 'Did you have you arm back?' Charlie was unsure wether discussing death would make Pixle uncomfortable. Before she died, she had a certain acceptance with death, so he figured nothing had really changed.
inkstep • 18 May 2012 at 12:06 PM
@swimforlife woa hey hi!Yea, for a bit, it was boring though, I'm not sure how long I was even gone, you kind of lose a sense of time, but it was different....You don't really go to another realm or what not like I thought, but instead you just continue to exist without anyone knowing....it was pretty dull..." she shrugged, looking down at her hand "I'd prefer to keep my limbs and condition though, it makes dying a whole lot more interesting, and it reminds me of a few things..." she shrugged again, pulling off her goggles and looking over at the water. "How long as I gone anyway?" she gloanced up at Charlie, a confused look of concern on her face.

@inkstep I'm sick ☹️ But I get to RP instead of being at school, so I'm pretty happy!'You were gone for a week, maybe a little over. The days are shorter here, so I'm not really sure how they tell time. Nothing really happend while you were gone. Except for this shadow-thing attempted to kill me. We were in the hover craft, then something like a barrier stopped it from touching me. It was all very bizzare.' Charlie replied as he sat himself on the sand. 'Where did you find normal clothes? I've been dying to get out of this jumpsuit!' he exclaimed, tugging at the collar of the grey material. 'The only benefit of this fabric is that its fire and weather proof.'
inkstep • 18 May 2012 at 12:16 PM
@swimforlife that's great!! that you get to RP and not be at school, not that you're sick, I'm sorry you're sick ☹️"I'm not sure....I guess when whatever happened that brought me back, also put me in this outfit..." she laughed a bit, looking him over "You haven't tried to get clothes yet? I'm surprised you haven't been caught!" she sighed, keeping the thought of the attempted attacks in mind. Glancing over at one of the creatures that passed by, she lowered her head a bit, thinking back to the over-cheerful and purely crazy couple, that had shown up here before.
Deleted • 18 May 2012 at 12:24 PM
@inkstep I hate being sick, but I love not going to school. Thanks for the 'feel better''There's nothing out here to change into, unless I kill something and make a loin cloth.' Charlie laughed at the though of looking like Tarzan. 'I'll stick with the jumpsuit. Leopard skin doesn't suit me.' Charlie watched the small weasle like creature padding across the sand. It looked rather innocent, but he figured it had some kind od poisonous bite. Thoughs shuffled through Charlie's mind, none of which could be processed. 'Pixle, how much do we even know about Arretilion. What if doesn't even exist and this is all as scam. We could just be more pawns in Phase 4.' Charlie said, not filtering his thoughts. A gentle breeze picked up a cloud of sand which lazily blew around thier ankles. Charlie glanced down at his feet. His shoes had seen better days. In the not too distant future, he would be walking barefoot. The canvas of the sneakers was ripped and frayed. The once grey fabric was a yellowish brown.
inkstep • 18 May 2012 at 12:31 PM
"I'm not too sure...but I guess we wait and see...." she sighed, looking up at the sky, three moons could barely be seen in the light of the two suns (I guess?) the bright mid morning light was blinding. "And you don't have to kill some/thing/ but what about some/one/, mug a person!" there was a bit of joking tone in her voice, but she sounded pretty serious. @swimforlife np! =3
Deleted • 18 May 2012 at 12:59 PM
@inkstep Mugging! Yes, I think I once mentioned 2 suns...A hearty laugh burrowed from Charlie's gut to his mouth. He chortled at Pixle's suggestion, but recognized the serious tone in her voice. 'Alrighty, then. We just need somebody to mug.' As if on cue, a dune buggy filled with people in strange hats barrled across the horizon. 'Look Pixle!' Charlie whispered, dropping his voice, 'They're a safari tour or something. We might be able to get something from them.' A mishecious glimmer sparkled in Charlie's eyes. 'Hydro and go?' he asked, preparing himself to blast a stream of wather at the quickly aproaching vehical. Although Charlie would never have consider stealing, he considered this necessity.
