Hybrids ~RP

There is a world.
It's a land where time and space are completely different from ours.
It's a beautiful land.
Full of nature and wonder.
From it, all fairy tales are born.
It's a land that cannot even compare to ours.
But this land is troubled, and even it's thick forests cannot hide the scars of battles that raged thousands of years before.
The battles that are still sung by the traveling Bards on the street corners in the towns.
The Battles of the Hybrids.
To understand Hybrids, you must first understand good and evil.
Now, Good and Evil aren't really black and white.
The world view of Good changes all the time, as does the world view of Evil.
But the difference is living for yourself, or others.
The Sky Beings are the children of Good. Often called "Angels", they fight the Fire Beings, often called "Demons", which are the children of evil.When these two forces fight eachother, with their children helping, it causes trendmendous clamities, and the sheer force of the battle can wipe out everything in a hundred mile radius.
Luckly, the Angels and Demons live in a different world rather than this one, so the battles do not occur on the same plain of existence as this world.
But, if good and evil could embody itself in a human, then the battles could happen in the world.
These humans, children of the Angels or Demons, born under the influence of either good or evil are called Hybrids.
And they are dangerous.

Now, Hybrids are the children of and Angels and Demons, and either a good hearted or bad natured person, since those kind of people are what' the former is attracted to.
Since Hybrids are part human, they can have a bit of a lacked sense of good and evil.
There are two kind of Hybrids.

The Enjeru are the Angel Hybrids. They are usually descriped as being having white or light blue calm eyes, no matter what their hair or skin color is. They also have powers, from being able to calm someone by either touching or looking at them, to being able to control the winds, to being skilled fighters with arrows, spears, and javelins, and all are even said to be able to fly if only in dire need.

The Akuma are the Demon Hybrids. They either have black or grey eyes.
There powers are either Invoking hate or anger within people, controlling fire, extreme skill with daggers, nets, swords, chains, knives, and they can all hide in the shadows if in dire need.

Now, the Enjeru and Akuma are destined enemies, since they carry the hatred held by their parents.
The groups have had the bloodiest battles in history, that have destroyed whole forests and cities.
Because of this, the humans in this world free the Hybrids, and resent them.

hunt the Hybrids, all to make sure the groups don't grow into a great mass again, and fight, causing bloody battles like in the past.
So today, Hybrids must hide their true nature.
Some hide in the shadows, away from humans. Others live with the humans, simply hiding their powers.
But now, a great force is rising.
This force has the potential to destroy the entire world, good and evil, and life as we know it.
And the only way to save the world is for the Enjeru and Akuma and humans to work together.
But the question is... Is that even possible?
Or will they end up destroying each other?

1. Serious RPers only. I mean it. Or else... I'll go all Akuma on chu. |D (It means Demon... In SOME language. O_o )
2. No God Modding.
3. No /serious/ romance type stuff! >< (Cue the EWWW. Hugs are fine, though. XD)
4. No cussing. Follow the forum rules. ^^
5. Chat speak= Bad. (I stink at spelling, so I won't count that against you, though! ^^)

*Humans can be regular ol' humans, or have a special power of sight, being able to see the "Good" or "Evil" in someone, and judge if they are an Enjeru or Akuma.


**= Enjeru can either,
-Control winds
-Have calming effects on people
-Be a MASTER with bows, Spears, or Javelins.
(They can ALL fly, but only in DIRE need 😉 )

**=Akuma can either,
-Control fire.
-Envoke feelings of hate or anger into people.
- Be a master with knifes, daggers, nets, or swords.
(They can all escape into the shadows if in a dire situatation. )

~~A bit more INFO on the World. ~
It is a vast region, which is kind of set back in the Midevil times, you can say. It has plenty of villagers here and there, many forests, and some Castles that belong to the nobelity. 😊
It IS ruled by a King, but there have been some trouble with that lately...
(If you've ever read InkHeart, think of that world. ^^ )

Looks: Blonde hair, cold, white eyes. Tall, and a bit handsome, but it's hard to tell because you can never look past his eyes when you see his face.They are that scary/intimidating. XP
He wears a white, tattered, long coat, and under it he wears a black shirt and pants underneath. He also has a white bandana (type thing) he has around his neck, that he can pull over his mouth to hide the lower half of his face.

Personality: Cold, and he can come off as intimidating. He is suprisingly cold, and doesn't talk much.

Weapon: Bow and arrows. 😊 (But he is also a BIT handy with a dagger. A bit. 😉 )
Special ability:* He's a master with the Bow. 😸
Other: He's a well known thief. 😉 Suprising?

Looks: Wavy starlight blonde hair, kept short. Quite light grey eyes. She doesn't pay much attention to what she wears, other than the fact she dresses as a boy. Average height, fairly pretty (especially for a boy) and overall forgettable.
Personality: Tries to keep her head down and stay unnoticed. Incurably shy. Normally friendly, compassionate and intelligent. Has a few close friends.
Weapon: Clueless.
Special ability:* Evoke feelings of Anger or Hate into people at will.

Looks: Beautiful, but evil. Purple eys, straight black hair thats chest length and curls at the bottom, long purple bangs cover left eye.
Personality: CAn be niuce, mean, evil, good. Anything, but if you get on her bad side, its war. dont mess with her, and she'll risk her life for TRUE friends

Sylvia woke up one morning in a damp cave to recollections of what she had done the day before. She thought about her experience so far on The SUpernatural games. She remembered how hateful she felt at the
President and the people who hosted these Competitions.
And she still does hate them. ?All the competitors of this competition need to reverently treat the rules of this game. ?, Sylvia said to herself under her breath. ?But once, we got on this island, all heck broke loose.? ,She continued to herself. She took out her daggers from the sheaths from her belt. She wielded them with ease and stabbed the dirt floor, making a deep hole. She walked outside to the nearby river next to her shelter and dipped them into the crystal blue river. The water turned murky as water flowed around the blood stained dirty weapons.

"Are you okay?!" Amy exclaimed anxiously, seeing her adopted sister, Tina, stumble into the hut. It soon became apparent that everything wasn't, as the latter was clutching her wounded shoulder, trying to stop the bleeding. Amy jumped up and helped her over to a bed, and immediately examining the damage. "Akuma?" She questioned without much doubt.
Ti nodded. "B****** tried to get me from behind just when we thought we were done."
Amy shook her head. "I wish you'd stop doing this, Ti. You've got your whole life ahead of you, and you know how dangerous Hybrids are. Nothing good will come of this."
"I'm trying to purge the land of evil before it destroys our entire way of life," she hissed. "What are you doing with your life, Am? Messing around with stupid herbs all day, stuck in this old, sweltering hut healing people stupid enough to trip over their pitchfork!"
Amy ran her hand through her boyish short hair. "And idiots dumb enough to chase after danger." She looked pointedly at Ti. "I'm HELPING people, Ti," she sighed, exasperated. Tina just didn't get how important this was to Amy.
"When I'm done, there'll be no dirty hybrids to worry about, just you wait," she muttered under her breath.

Sylvia smiled, evil glinting in her eyes and then smiled again. She then spun her dagger by it's handle. "Enjurus.." she said, thinking back at the Enjuru she hurt earlier. "Good luck healing youself.", she said in a cold tone. She brushed the dust off her clothes and put her dagger back into it's sheath. She put it in her sheath, and looked like any normal 14 year old girl, other then her purple eyes and bangs. The only reason many do not suspect her of being an akuma is they usually have red eyes whilst hers are purple.

Just as much as anyone, Amy knew she should hate the Hybrids. For the most part, they'd killed her mother and father. But as much as she tried, she couldn't. It wasn't in the nature of healers to hate, so that's why she'd taken up healing. But she also knew something else. Amy had a sneaking suspicion that SHE was a Hybrid. Why else would her mother have asked her sister to swap?
A few years ago, Amy's aunt had told her the truth; why Amy had to masquerade as a boy infront of everyone. Because she wasn't really her Aunt's daughter, she was her Aunt's sisters.
Her Aunt's first child had died a few hours after birth, a boy. Amy had been born around the same time, and her mother had begged her sister to trade them, pretend HER child had died.
Shortly after, her mother had gone missing, then was found dead.
But even if she was, Amy wasn't like the other Hybrids. She didn't hurt anyone.

"WHERE IS HE?"
The guards of the town roared, rampaging through the streets below him.
Gaberial smirked, hiding on the roof tops of old, crudely built stone huts.
He tossed a bag of coins up and down loftily in his hands, smirking as his cold eyes shown in the light of the slowly sinking sun behind him.
He turned, and jumped quickly over the roofs of the crumbling houses, heading deeper into the "Bad" part of the village, where most of the thieves and cut throats rested for the night.
As Gaberiel glided over the houses, however, something caught his eye.
In the mountain tops, miles upon miles away from the village, past the endless forests and trees that seemed to surround his town, and just barely visible in the afternoon fog, was a castle.
It only appeared for a moment, shunning Gabriel as if he'd been shocked with electricity, before disappearing back behind the fog.
Blinking, the young thief rubbed his eyes, not sure why the vision had left him with such an unsettling feeling...
"HE WENT THIS WAY!"
The shouts rocked Gabriel back to reality, and, once again, he was off.

Sylvia walked into the town, away from the forests and raised her eyebrows at the commotion the guards were making. Sylvia hasn't done anything wrong today, so why the commotion? Just then she saw a boy on the roof. She surpressed a smile and a younger soldier/guard bumped into her. "Excuse me?", she said, the soldier backed away and Sylvia smiled.

"Well, that's all I can do for you," Amy stood back and let Ti get up. "You should be able to use it properly in a few days time, just rest it until then. You can use your other arm in the meantime, right?"
Ti nodded. "Thank you, Amos. I'm sorry for what I said earlier. It was... Wrong. I don't know what we'd do without you," she looked down at her feet, ashamed.
"Forget it," Amy said. "Let's just go home."
They left and shut the door behind them, fastening the latch tight but not locking it; that wasn't something the humble doctor could afford, instead, he spent the money on medicine when he could. No one robbed from him, because to hurt him would be to hurt everyone. He didn't charge a dime for his work. He'd even taken Amy as an apprentice, free of charge. Said he liked the company.
The sun was setting and the duo hurried back home, doing their best to navigate the labyrinth streets without attracting attention; it wasn't really late yet, so they wasn't too much danger, but well, you could never be too careful, even with a well known slayer like Ti, and Amy, because under the doctor's wing most criminals shouldn't touch her. But you never know, how desperate someone might get...

Casey had been living with the Mistress for a long time. She was getting sicker, and Casey worried for her constantly. The maid that had welcomed her in was long gone, and it was quite lonely.
The next day, the Mistress called her in. Her cheekbones portruded prominently and her face was gaunt. "Stay with me until I die." , she moaned. Casey calmed her, but inside she knew that the Mistress could not live. She laid still with her eyes closed until she took her final breath, breathing a wispy "Thank you." Casey put a hand to her heart, and she knew the Mistress was gone. Her eyes welled up with tears. "Why!!" she yelled at the ceiling. Tears welled up in her eyes. Casey gave Mistress a gentle caress, then walked out. She could not stay, for that memory would stay forever. Pushing open the door to her room, Casey quickly packed up a few precious things, then came out of the mansion. Her eyes were dark and her hands shuddered. Time to get out of here.
